Clean store, plenty of seats. But always rushed when ordering drinks. Could take some tips from the wrexham road store.

Has been my favourite Starbucks in Chester, very friendly staff. Except the one, who felt it was his concern to get my boss informed about my visits there. Shame, this branch has lost a customer.

Nice aspect to the store, bright and comfortable to sit in. But can be dirty, staff are mostly indifferent to customers presence or aware of the cleanliness of the store.

Good store, drinks always made perfectly.

Ordered what I always order, a large iced vanilla latte but with oat milk instead of cows milk. First I got given a regular hot latte, so I asked for it to be remade. Got attitude in response, the server saying "Fine, I'll remake it if you don't want to drink it hot." Well no, because that's not what I ordered. Got my iced latte with no sticker on it so I can't tell if this is even my order, but it definitely didn't have any vanilla in it. Was going to ask for them to add some in, but both of them disappeared into the back. And it wasn't even busy.

Went and bought a very expensive coffee.

Misplaced an item. Which was found and held until I could reclaim it. Thank you Tommy. Every store should have a Tommy!

Staff not wearing correct uniform, drinks also made not right. Used two free drinks and asked for both large and only got one large one medium, not sure whether they just couldn’t be bothered but they weren’t difficult drinks to made 🤐

Currently, for the summer I recommend a cold mocha frapuccino with an additional shot and cream. Perfect for me. In colder weather, I choose delicious mocha with a shot and cream. For me the best coffee. I don't want Costa coffee etc.

Great coffee, Iced Americana large, Costa charging the same price for a medium Iced Americana,?? Seating area is a little grubby, but other than that great

The 2 guys in here I assume manager and assistant are an asset to the company they are always polite talkative and friendly they make a change to some unhappy staff in other Starbucks I have been keep up the good work guys

Went for a quick coffee. Refused as I only had actual money. Kings currency? Customer for life no longer a customer.

I always struggle with the prices in this place, 2 flat whites and a muffin, £12..... Its not that great a coffee to carry such a high price

Aircon on so cafe was freezing cold if you were sat in the draft of unit. Also not allowed to use cash which is terrible. Every shop or outlet should be made to accept cash. Should have walked out to be fair. Won't visit ever again.

Doesn't accept cash. Order to sit in and you are given a paper cup. What's the point in offering sit in cups if you are not going to give them to customers who want to sit in? Very disappointed. Used to be great service.

Nice place to be but looked like a chimps tea party had just left when we arrived. As seems the same with a lot of coffee houses I've been in there are never enough staff to clear tables leaving you to do it yourself! The staff that are in are run ragged. Not their fault....

Very unfriendly staff, had to clean my own table and put cups up on side then was informed it's a card only policy? N refused legal tender aka cash. Won't be back again! Would not recommend!

Dumb and lying starbuck staff We ordered 2 cortado, my wife has received large cup of something (not cortado) so my wife said this is not in the proper glass this female employee said we don’t have any glass. I said this is just milk, so my wife took it back only them to put more coffee in it, when we tried to drink it wasn’t cortado it was just milky coffee as the ratio is all wrong. So, I took for the 3rd time and got angry they made it in a proper glass with proper proportion of milk. If it was hot, it would of taste better. Anyhow second guy who made the cortado said “ you didn’t need to get angry just tell us”. “I said we tried 3 times but you lot still didn’t get it”. THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE A COFFE AND THEY ARE LIERS. (as they said they didn’t have a glass to make cortado in the first place), and the coffee they make is bloody cold. Why would you buy an expensive coffe and not to get what you want? End up disepointed and angry to ruin your day😡 thank you lying stupid starbuck staff 👎

Very grubby inside with dirty tables & chairs and litter on the floor. Yet only a few people inside. Visited around 3pm.

Went into Starbucks on the greyhound park on Tuesday and they only had one member of staff working. The wait was horrendous. Evan the uber and just eat drivers where walking away, empty handed because the lady just didn't have enough time to serve them. The lady behind the counter did the very best that she could but surely she shouldn't be put under this amount of pressure. Come on Starbucks look after your staff better than this.

Today I made an order, I asked for a latte with coconut milk of a small size. The woman began to ask something additionally, when I said that I did not understand her, she repeated something to me again very rudely. Then, she moved away and began to say something to the barista. And in the end, I get a large latte with coconut milk. I have never seen such a terrible service before, I was very upset. I was in a hurry and no longer talked about the wrong size of my coffee. Just a spoiled mood for the whole day

Had coffees and sausage barm cakes which were fine however certain things let them down. I can't speak for the gents toilets but my wife said the ladies left a lot to be desired. The internal layout could have been better thought out. As you enter you fed straight into the exit from the counter.

OK. Prices still high and a dog had been allowed to sit on bench seating which was covered in hairs. Used place for convenience as we were in the area. Not sure we would return.

Perfect location, great to meet friends and family as there's a good amount of seating that can get together. Free WiFi means I can happily work from there too.

After a visit to this coffee shop I was left disappointed by the service ordered two Christmas latte said that I was staying inside when lattes arrived they were in paper cups and when asked to change them into cups the member of staff wasn’t pleased but when they had been done after a wait the latte was just left on the counter while other people were served so the latte were missing their little Christmas sparkle

Very tasty croissants however the medium latte is huge. Be aware. Couldn't finish it

Staff were lovely, sweet pastry selection was great even if it wasn't what I wanted! There was a small vegan selection stocked when I visited! Only alternative milk available when I went was little soya milk pods for black coffee or black tea so not really anything of a selection for allergy sufferers of dairy milk or vegans available! On our visit the toilet was also out of order which isn't really useful for a coffee shop, I had my elderly mother with me who actually did need the loo...thankfully asda isn't too far away so I drove her over there for a pit stop!

Food was good and pleasant staff. They got my order wrong for my coffee, I didn't say anything so my own fault for not being 100% satisfied with my drink but they was very busy so I didnt want to be a hassle, though I'm sure the staff would of been more than happy to put it right. Been back since and got my order right, it was was a lovely coffee

This is a nice Starbucks. The staff were friendly, the food was fresh and tasted great and the drinks were good and well presented. The only reason this is not a 5 star is because I was asked twice whether I was dine in or take out and I made it clear both times that we were dining in, even checking the order with my wife who had taken a seat at a table. However, after this, everything came as take out so was not presented as nicely as a dine in option and meant we had take out cups to sit in. It was a shame because the rest of the experience was good.

Small coffee shop on retail park. Nice coffee, polite staff and clean premises. Toilets on site, although one closed on our visit. Couple of steps to get onto deck outside door though.

Called in today (Tuesday 5th April) around 1 o'clock and was informed they don't take cash payment. I'm a regular Starbucks customer and don't have any trouble paying cash at other Starbucks coffee shops. Why is this one different?

Friendly staff,nice food and drink and quick service.

Called in yesterday approximately 3-45 and was told very rudely that the toilet was not working.I enquired where the nearest toilet was and was told Dunelm across the road.So decided to go next door to Greggs for a drink where there was a toilet WHY would the male member of staff lie and send us across the road when he knew there was a toilet next door,what a nasty rude man.I suggest you teach this member of staff some customer service skillls

Very good coffe , well presented , eady to park , only negative thing would be it was a bit to cold inside , rainy and wimdy oitside , but would be nicer if it was warmer , Toielt was out of order also , so had to pee elsewear

Handy coffee stop if at the garages over the road or shopping. Lots of sockets/usb and, obviously, good choice of coffee.

Coffee great, clean place but boy does the guy on the tills who takes your order need a lesson in eticut, he's rude and barks at you in military style.

Very long queue, morning hour. Only 2 people to serve who were taking orders and making them too. Gentleman at the till was adamant to scan something with my phone because I wanted to stay out and drink my coffee there with my friend. He did not offer the fill the paper in option however I remembered from last time. Upon my request he then gave and I filled it in. Atitudine was leaking friendliness and I was such in a pain with my leg waiting either way so my mood was not great either. Coffee 's were good. Have taken two the same and one different for take away. Could not make up which was which no name on it or a mark, not really how I was usually served in other places in the UK... Overall an oke experience... the two blueberry muffin I bought were quite raw in the mid, but was too hungry not to eat it. My friend only ate half however I did not ask about the taste. As a suggestion, would be great to advise costumers what a frappuccino contains... last time we took one, but ended up realising it had no coffee in it. We did not know. Obviously we do not frequently come to this place and myself only have been drinking coffee the past 3 years so not much a culture I have about it but if the shops attitude and how products are presented is to anyone's understanding that would help a lot to gain a better reputation and better experience for those who visit it.

Dreadful jobs-worth manager means limited stock and poor service. Has advertising posters up for drinks and food they haven't stocked in months despite being very busy. I'd recommend the Costa round the corner

I have to say how disgusted iam with your outlet I visited the store monday 26/10/2020 and to say your a covid secure store is an understatement The worktop area where you pick up your coffee was severely stained with coffee,meaning it hadnt been wiped at all that day also it was not wiped from the customer before me. You also had tables outside and around the side of the building that could not be seen by members of staff(so no member of staff would even know that anybody was sat there) There was a couple sat there and left,after over 10 minutes no member of staff had been out to wipe the table and chairs,this was also the same for another table that was in veiw of the staff,again they left and the table and chairs were not wiped.the table we sat on had clearly not been wiped it still had food on it Considering that cheshire is on high alert and the fact that you say your covid secure with pics of tables being wiped on your website this is disgusting that you are clearly not following guidelines Oh and when someone buys a coffee trsin your staff to ask if they would like sugar,rather than plonking the cup down and walking off

Seating areas dirty. Plug sockets near permitted seating areas are not working! Chilly as doors stay open. Staff helpful. Good coffee.

This was one of the iced macchiato and my loorrrddd is it good. The place is great, staff are wonderful 👌 Adding something from my girlfriend, she's regularly coming in for a cookies and cream frapp, Jake and the girls, unfortunately we don't know their names, are all wonderfully polite and friendly.

After our visit to many stores and great service on the park on Bank Holiday Monday we decided to call into Starbucks. The main door is only now used as an Exit. Although its signed its not in front on the paving. We and others went straight there first to be ushered to the side door. Read the sign was hurdled at us. We jointed the queue. Due to Covid 19 the seating was not all available. 2 meters apart they say so why cover up 13ft of of tables & chairs? . Plus the front seating area was shut off. We asked for a seat. The mature chap behind the counter Mr Grumpy said sit outside. We explained all the seats were occupied. He said oh so do you want to eat in or out? we said either but there are no seats available. He huffed and said do you want topping on ya coffee how can I make it better for you? I said its not very organised is it. Look at the signs he said.. We're baffled why one guy was sat at a table for four with just a coffee. So speaking of signs WHY dont Starbucks put signs on tables stating due to Covid19 we're limited on space so please dont take up four seats leaving other customers with no where to sit. We left. Ate the food in the car. A waste of £17 for 2 defrosted prawn sandwiches & 2 coffees. Much prefer the set up in Greggs next door. Got a decent pizza and pastry for less than £3.Good bye Starfcks!

Can't sit in and the perspex screen is ridiculous. While it makes sense to have one installed, you can't be heard on the other side of the screen with a mask on, which makes ordering extremely frustrating. If you're going to have one like that, you need a microphone and speaker system.
