Great place to sit and people watch.Fast service,decor has to be seen.

Fabulous station pub with wonderful historic history if you take a moment to look around and up! Best place to wait for your train (or if delayed!)

Pedimos 3 platos pequeños, uno de patatas fritas y salsa de curry y pollo goujons. Toda la comida llegó fría. Pedimos una jarra de cóctel y los vasos que se llevaron a la mesa a medida que pedimos a través de la aplicación estaban asquerosamente sucios. Se lo señalé a la chica que los trajo, tatuaje rojo detrás de su oreja y ella puso sus ojos como tomando el vaso de mí y se podía ver claramente que los vasos estaban nublados. Tuve que levantarme e irme y el encargado con camisa de rayas alfileres y gafas (masculinas) le di el otro vaso para que me lo cambiaran también. La actitud es ridícula. Si el personal revisara las gafas antes de repartirlas, no tendría que volver a colocarlas. Trabaja más listo, no más duro. 12 años de gestión de bares

Worth a visit if travelling through Liverpool Street Station stunning building and reasonably prised drinks and food for Central London

Visited this place during the peak evening hours. Some of the foods were not available during the day and time. Really impressed with the Alfredo Pasta that was served here. Wait time for a table during the peak hours was 10-15 mins

It looked nice but I did watch a bouncer try and stomp and on someone then slapping them multiple times. After that I watched him continue to aggravate the situation by standing in the outside area mouthing the words 'come on then'

QR code on table didn’t recognise table number mentioned it to a passing member of staff who just said order at the bar… food was usual standard, really nice building though

It’s a Spoons! It does what it says on the tin. Huge venue right next to Liverpool Street station with high ceilings, stunning ornate plasterwork, chandeliers and large gilt mirrors. (it used to be the Ballroom of the Great Eastern Hotel). Many years ago I bumped in to the owner Tim Martin here.

What can I say it’s a spoons? Some nice staff with great characters here. Food service was fast. Access wasn’t great, if there was a ramp I missed it. There is a table in front of the disabled toilet blocking the access.

Thursday nights they do a really nice curry but it does get very busy around rush hour.

You rejected my colleague because of not having an ID, he is over 30+ and we have been to this 'Spoons many times before without problems

Opens bright and early for that morning drink. A nicely done up spoons. Table service is great. The food portions are good but seriously lacking In quality, however you get what you pay for. Sometimes you get a very annoying announcement and alarm ringing through the place as it is linked to Liverpool street train station. Guinness is still £6.14 here.

All very delicious and well priced for how expensive it is to eat in London.

El pub tiene un ambiente cálido y acogedor, por lo que es un lugar acogedor para relajarse y disfrutar de una bebida. La selección fue buena, y al principio, parecía el lugar perfecto para relajarse. Sin embargo, me decepcionó el servicio. Teníamos comida para llevar con nosotros, y aunque entendimos que la comida exterior no estaba permitida dentro, preguntamos si podíamos dejarla junto a la entrada. Un guardia de seguridad estuvo de acuerdo, pero cuando regresamos, la comida se había ido. Cuando le preguntamos al respecto, el guardia de seguridad nos dijo que deberíamos habernos sentado afuera, pero no es una opción para nosotros ya que hacía frío. Luego declaró que había estado en un descanso y no sabía qué había pasado. Otro guardia de seguridad se unió a la conversación, y en lugar de darnos una respuesta clara, comenzó a hablar en su idioma, haciendo gestos y señalando afuera, lo que no entendíamos. En un momento dado, le dijo al primer guardia: “Está bien, está bien, déjalo”, como descartando la situación y diciéndole que se olvide de la comida que falta. Ambos nos ignoraron, dejándonos avergonzados y sin ninguna respuesta. Si la comida se le hubiera dado a alguien necesitado, eso habría sido comprensible, pero la falta de comunicación y profesionalismo fue frustrante. Situaciones como esta podrían manejarse mejor fácilmente con más transparencia y respeto por los clientes. Si bien el ambiente y las bebidas eran agradables, el mal servicio al cliente dejó una impresión negativa. Espero que la dirección tome medidas para mejorar la comunicación y la experiencia de los huéspedes.

Rude abrupt bar staff. Food poor even for spoons.

¡Absolutamente asquerosa comida! Llevó a Mi hija adolescente y sus padres (nosotros) al hermoso pub Weatherspoons de la estación. Espectacular arquitectura y una actitud espectacularmente extraordinaria del personal! A mi hija (vegana de toda la vida) le sirvieron el plato equivocado que era una versión de carne de lo que pidió. Lo enviamos de vuelta solo para tener patatas fritas crudas servidas con la comida. El gerente se negó a darme su nombre y se negó a reemplazar las papas fritas sin cocinar porque ya habíamos enviado un plato de vuelta a la cocina! ¿Qué diablos? Manager (cola de caballo y tatuajes) fue extremadamente grosero y se negó a alimentar a mi hijo, así que tuvimos que gastar más en otro conjunto de sus patatas fritas de mierda. Mi curry vegano vino con papadums rancios y el pedazo de pan de hombre más grande que he probado. Podía saborear el moho. Cero atención al cliente y la comida no era comestible. Solo merece una visita por la decoración. ¡Solo impactante! Nunca más. Arruinó nuestro día familiar. ¡Qué vergüenza!

Went in for a few drinks, had a problem with a group of young guys trying to touch my girlfriend, I put it on them and the doormen didn't pressure me, let me say my bit and dealt with the situation perfectly, they then removed the guys half hour later for starting more trouble, 3 black blokes on the door Saturday night were really professional.

The best restaurant to eat near Liverpool Station!!

Noisey, majority of menu was unavailable and waitress was not at all happy to be serving. I've waitresed and know how hard it is but you still smile and are polite. She literally threw our food onto the table and looked most harred off when we asked for cutlery.

Heavy unhappy here lads let me just say, a walked in all normally right and there was this like heavy small woman and she was all hard man at me (a 6’8 hard man innit) and was all like ‘mate where’s your reservation’ and I’m like a don’t need one lad I’m better than all yous out there innit. And she was not happy and was heavy giving me attitude so a was like heavy let’s take this outside lass and she was like aye no I ain’t losing ma job innit. A was heavy upset and the boss man manager came out all heavy hard man and a was no having it so I went out cause am no going back to the jail innit.

In for a bit of breakfast. Great value, tasty food, cool location.

Many years since I've been here, always busy even on a Tuesday, so service is a bit slow. Good atmosphere and selection of beers.

All the bells and whistles for a Wetherspoons. A bit drafty at the door the prices seemed a bit odd. Other than that spot on.

Visitó la tarde del domingo 23 / 02 y no estaba ocupado en comparación con visitas anteriores. Probé un par de amargos del bar de arriba, ambos planos. El personal se preocupa más por charlar entre sí que por servir a los clientes. Tacharé esto de nuestra lista de obsesiones habituales cuando estés en Londres.

More expensive than other Wetherspoons the refurbishment looks gt though

We were not able to find this Wetherspoon despite walking around the block multiple times. We would suggest the location be updated.

Sala palaciega. Buena relación calidad-precio. El personal no te atiende porque están demasiado ocupados cotilleando. El menú muy limitado se ha quedado sin la mayoría de las cosas. Lo mismo para la cerveza. Muy por debajo del estándar habitual de Wetherspoons

The decor is stunning. We enjoyed our breakfast and returned later in the day for a drink.

From being a ballroom in the old times to a Wetherspoon's pub, with 10 handpumps serving a wide range of brews, including local ales. It is a friendly place inside a beautiful building, where children are welcome. Real ale is dispensed from the entrance-level and upstairs bars. Enjoy service with a smile as this station pub can get very busy. TV screens show train departures and arrivals. Breakfasts are served from 7am on weekdays.

The 'Spoons @ Liverpool Street Station is consistently better than most. Food arrives quickly, and correctly cooked through. Staff are always friendly and welcoming too.

Really good service from all the staff except the 'seeming manager' in the white shirt. Drink tasted off and questioned as though it was an interrogation. The drink was poured incorrectly so don't make the customer feel under duress, I am a paying customer so no need for the probing questions. He is the only reason I wouldn't come back, don't get this elsewhere.

Big pub, always lively always busy, right next to Liverpool Street Station. Still manage to serve customers quickly.

Just like any other Wetherspoon but missing the bargain own brand beers of pubs outside of London. Only the premium drinks are available. But still good value for a central London pub.

Incredibly noisy on a Friday evening, hard to hear my friend talk. Food menu much reduced compared to a normal wetherspoons, and the chips were burnt amd very dry.

We went here for some drinks before going to Dishoom for dinner. The difference in price between the too is sizeable. I saw a really pretty girl here. Her butt was also sizeable. On this occasion no crack heads spoke to me which is a fantastic way to spend and evening.

One of the staff members came over to us and started swearing at us for leaving our stuff on the table while we went to the toilet. Utterly unacceptable.

Empacado y simplemente ruidoso, no podía conseguir una mesa de todos modos, así que tomamos una copa rápida y luego nos fuimos. Pero al morder a las damas antes de irnos me quedé tan sorprendido al ver la colocación de la cámara de CCTV justo al lado y sobre los cubículos. ¿Por qué!

We are fond of going to the wetherspoon joints and found this place, which is too good. If you have seen the venetian, It has the same wall craft and is happening place. As part of the weatherspoon, the menu and prices are the same. From now on every thrusday evening when me and my office friends and I are hanging out, I will be here. The service was also very good. Thumbs up to the team.

Ordering the breakfast was a bit of an effort for the bartender, the look I got you'd have thought I'd asked her to work another couple of hours after her shift. The rest of the staff were very good and attentive. Breakfast was good. Coffee was poor, flat white is never good from their machine's

Going through refurb but has a bit of history and flare with old magisticly painted walls, lights and chandeliers. You almost forget you are in a weatherspoons until you look back down and the clientele around you and remember where you are and what you are here to buy. Nice quick cheap well convenienced food and drink. Great location just outside the Liverpool Street station. Not overly spacious and tables are a bit more cramped than a normal spoons but quite a cosy little pocketed pub with a bar on both floors.

Great atmosphere close to the station. Theres many places to sear whether you feel more social or just need to plugin your laptop for work - there will be a place for you. The bartenders and staff are extra friendly and competent with good reccomendations, so if you’re at a moment to rest between the next journey or just looking out for a nice central place u would definitely recommend visiting!

Shut for 2 months for a re-fit. Looked exactly the same. Staff too busy too engage, well those that were serving that is. Far too many staff stood out the back from general view just chatting to one another. Very frustrating for a punter waiting to be served

Got expensive and given how noisy and busy it is the attraction used to be it was cheap...

Ok. Convenient pub at the station, but vast, often overcrowded and noisy. A barman on the upper floor could do with a stint at charm school.

Terrible place. I took 13 pensioners for lunch today. I paid for our lunches then ran to the shop while the pensioners waited for the meals. I returned 3 minutes later and the doorman refused to let me in because I had a bag with food in it. I explained that my lunch was waiting in their restaurant but was told that I could not go in with my bag. Their were several other customers with shopping bags who were on the pub. I paid for my lunch at the pub but was not allowed to eat it, and had to abandon the pensioners leaving them at this horrible place.

Wetherspoons security chucked our organiser out of the Pub, because she had food shopping with her, but only after she had paid for 18 meals! Terrible service.
