Stunning interior and great atmosphere and service

I don't drink though have been there a few times with colleagues. Have once managed a pud for JD Witherspoon and its was a great pub chain to work for.

Closed for refurbishment when I visited

Going through refurb but has a bit of history and flare with old magisticly painted walls, lights and chandeliers. You almost forget you are in a weatherspoons until you look back down and the clientele around you and remember where you are and what you are here to buy. Nice quick cheap well convenienced food and drink. Great location just outside the Liverpool Street station. Not overly spacious and tables are a bit more cramped than a normal spoons but quite a cosy little pocketed pub with a bar on both floors.

It is what it is. Manager had poor attitude when I said Guinness 0.0 was flat, she didn't want to replace it, I insisted and she reluctantly gave me another can which poured perfectly.

Might be one of the worst spoons in the country. You can order to your outside table on the app, so you have to actually go inside to order. Once you go inside your servers act like you're mumbling in a club with the way they can't hear what you're saying. A member of the bar staff 5 meters away understood my order better than the person on the till. Finally the waiters had the audacity to question why my fiancé had left so much food on the plate, as if it was any of his business. Avoid like the plague!

Very busy with the end of day office crowd, then suddenly empty. More expensive and less choice of food than my local spoons. Some would say London prices but, McDonald's is the same price as my local one.

Door staff were extremely rude. Was having one drink whist waiting for our train. Popped to Tesco to get some snacks for the journey home. I left my friends in the bar along with my luggage. When I returned to the bar the door staff refused me entry because I had some shopping. Explained that I just popped out and my luggage and friends were still inside which made no difference. Had to call them to bring my luggage. Staff when called said they don't allow food it's in their pub which I understand. Yet still refused me entry when Explained it was for the train home.

Cheap, good, hot food with drinks included and delivered within 5 minutes of ordering. Excellent

This place on Aug. 2024 being renovated, so hardly any spare tables, should be a lovely looking room when finished. We left after one drink.

Staff behind bar are soo arrogant and unwelcoming. Clearly need customer service training! 5 'managers' on the bar too busy to serve or acknowledge a customer

Really busy but staff were friendly and the service was pretty fast. At the moment there seems to be some sort of refurbishment so a section of the seating area was closed off. The food came quite quickly and they were good size portions that were cooked well. I will be going back!

Came here on a Tuesday morning around 1100. Was a nice day so sat outside but every time the wind blew we got a strong stench of stale piss. Ordered food, came super fast and was decent quality. APART from the fact I paid £1.75 or something for 4 bacon rashers and one rasher cut into 4 came out 😭😂

Located in the former Ballroom of the Great Eastern hotel, usual Wetherspoons fare with the addition of doormen (for what purpose at 3pm on a Tuesday im unsure..) lots of standing room, tables upstairs tend to be quieter. Quite ornate plasterwork. Tends to be busy in the evening and weekends if nearby football on. Usually a good selection of real ales.

Great atmosphere. Shame about the frozen, chain store, processed food. It was dreadful.

Lovely place, it was a really warm day and our train had been cancelled so while we waited went in to have a drink or two. They had cold water out for people to have and I thought this simple thing was so lovely

Busy station pub, good staff, non alcoholic lager available at a decent price. No parking. Directly available just outside London Liverpool Street concourse.

No women's toilet...which means one disabled toilet for all females patrons. Speaking to senior staff including the manager this is seen as acceptable. - they seem to think women should be happy to leave the pub and use the public toilets in the train station. They also more importantly do not monitor time constraints of the disabled toilets, i.e. Large groups of women dominated the toilet also men used the only available toilet for women meaning very long waiting times

Went in on way to football at Wembley, better than near the ground, a good selection of real ales .had the American double burger with chicken fillet.went down a treat.

Very busy place, but you get a fast service. Plenty of staff. Has a friendly atmosphere Great real ales bit pricer than the sticks but not a lot more for London I'll be back. Thanks guys

Very noisy, hard working staff, but below average even for a Wetherspoons.

We've eaten brunch here a few times when arriving or departing from Liverpool Street train station - great value breakfast and hot drinks. We tend to steer clear in the evenings as it just gets too busy and noisy with after work drinks gatherings taking advantage of the cheap beer. On the two occasions we ate there this week the breakfasts were good, consistent and well cooked. Staff were good and the pace was clean. A bit inconvenient for the ladies as their toilets were closed due to the ongoing refurbishment works. It will be good when they are done. The free refill hot drinks were useful on Thursday as we found out that our train was cancelled so we stayed on a bit longer to catch a later one.

JD Wetherspoon pubs throughout London always offer good prices and a wide range of drinks. Unfortunately, Hamilton Hall is a bit loud and there is a lot of noise, especially inside. Due to its location right next to Liverpool Street Station, the pub is of course always very busy. The staff is friendly and you are served quickly. I've never tried food there.

As with every Wetherspoon, there is a large selection of beers here. This one is a little more expensive than other locations, but a cider here still costs under 4 GPB. There is a larger area to sit outside here. The pub was well attended. There was security in front of the entrance, but they let us through.

Really disappointed with the food. Pasta Alfredo that looked like cat vomit (and I am told didn't taste much better and then burger and chips . The burgers were akin to birdseye budget burgers and the chips were oven chips. Don't know what has happened but never had food this bad before in any other wetherspoons, and it was made worse by a snotty waitress who complained at the colleague who had ordered the cat vom...sorry Pasta Alfredo, but couldn't eat it so bought a wrap from elsewhere to eat whilst the rest of us finished ours. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures before they whisked it away.

Everything you can expect from chain establishments. Guaranteed shot to make a good meal in relation to quality and price.

Stopped off here during a day out with my daughter and son in law for my daughter's birthday celebrations. We all had a drink and planned our next move. The place was very busy. Toilets were out of order and had to go back to the nearest train station before moving on.

Can you believe No Ladies Toilets, when asked was told to use Station Toilets as there having a refurbishment. To my belief you must have Female & Male Toilets when dealing with the public in a very busy pub. Rude Barmaid,No Thanks,No Please Well not be returning

Lovely mixed bag of suits and retired. Loads of space. Great spot for a cheeky pitstop.

Don’t be fooled that Wetherspoons equates to cheap beer coming to the end of its shelf life. Hoards of people use this pub but for whatever reason when we visited the upstairs additional eating area was closed. A pint and a half of beer cost £10. Some will think that’s ok but I think it’s theft. I didn’t have to go in and I didn’t have to buy the beer but I won’t be fooled again by the Wetherspoons sign.

Friday night and the place is rammed but they decided to close upstairs food area? Don’t be fooled by Wetherspoons value prices because I paid £9.55 for a pint and a half of beer. I raised this with their head office customer care team and they basically told me to go away. So I will and won’t come back.

This Spoons is next door to Liverpool Street train station. It had bouncers checking bags as you entered through the outside seating area which is a bad sign particularly as it was a lunch time when we popped in. The interior of the pub has impressive ceilings & the upstairs is undergoing a refurb. The pub was heaving with different age groups & we hated it. Lots of suitcases dotted around. Very few tables (which were all taken). It was so loud you could have done with ear defenders. The barman with the curly moustache was rude when he served us & the cost of a pint & glass of wine was £13. Disgraceful. Wouldn't recommend or return to this pub.

Denied entrance as part of a group of 5 (2 males, 3 females), all sober and well behaved, told by door staff they were full only for a larger group immediately after being allowed in. Can only assume it was due to wearing an England shirt on the night England were playing in the Euros. I though the Wetherspoons founder was a patriotic Brit and would encourage healthy celebrations. I can only hope the door staff receive suitable training on what constitutes being "full". Will not be visiting again.

I ordered a wrap it was awful. I called manager and he wasn't much help either. He said they do the filling by weight. . We go there quite often and food is normally ok. Friend had a problem with her fish and chips

Drinks are included in the menu, but the food is very weak. It is cheap and with fast service.

I don't know why some people are snobby about Wetherspoons. Interesting historic building, fast and friendly service and a decent lunch with a pint for less than a tenner.

My favorite restaurant chain. They have a great selection of beers. Prices are very reasonable. Good food. I especially appreciate the deals on select meals. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Service fast and efficient. We will definitely come back here.

The location (building) is amanzing and the food is very good at a low price. It might seem intimidating at first as it is a bar and it gets very loud and crowded but in fact you might find a free table inside and it is totally worth it.

The staff were really helpful , as I'm coeliac. They went out there way to tell what I could have on the menu.

This place is a destination place for people travelling to and from London not where you'd go for a cosy drink 😀

At about 13:30 on a Sunday the security guys refused myself and my 2 nephews (15/17) as one of them had a bottle of Sprite. They informed us the reason was that it is the law.. I didn't ask for the details of this legislation...i just accepted that this was possibly a new law that Rishi Sunak had pushed through recently...

I recently visited weatherspoon and had a highly disappointing experience. First, the chicken burger ordered was half-cooked, which is a serious health risk and completely unacceptable. The patty was pink and raw in the center, making it inedible. When I brought this issue to the attention of the staff, I was met with a shockingly rude attitude. Instead of apologizing and offering a replacement or a refund, the staff seemed annoyed that I had even mentioned it. Their behavior was unprofessional and dismissive, adding to an already frustrating experience. I understand that mistakes happen in the kitchen, but the way the staff handled the situation was inexcusable. Customer service is just as important as the food quality, and weatherspoon failed miserably on both counts. I won't be returning and I would advise others to think twice before dining here. There are plenty of other places that offer better food and know how to treat their customers with respect.

Inexpensive burger and drink deals, but the service was the worst I've ever experienced. I complained about an undercooked chicken burger, and the manager, with a lot of attitude, literally walked away, saying I'd eaten half of it and refused to listen. When I later called the pub, they just hung up on me. Watch your attitude, Wetherspoon, or you’ll soon be closing down due to poor quality. I'm never going there again.

The worst weatherspoons we've been to. Terrible breakfast, soggy oily hash browns and a depressing atmosphere! We thought the place had been refurbished. Instead it looks completely run down. What exactly has been refurbished?! The drinks were also expensive compared to other weatherspoons we've been to.

Awful service. Paid for food on the app and it never turned up. When I spoke to Chris in the office, he lied about speaking to my friend, Kev, about delivery of his dozen eggs. I expect a lot better service next week when I pay them a visit.

In a nice spot. After a lot of walking, it was nice to have a couple of pints to relax.

There is a vast selection of beer, and the prices are very reasonable. The chips are a little fatter than I would prefer, but they are very good nonetheless. This is an excellent choice to have one or more pints and a bite to eat.

Good meeting point for pre-drinks. It’s a typical Spoons, and with it being at Liverpool Street, it is quite busy. However, service is fairly good and quick and the prices are reasonable.

Major renovation going on now - so drinking on a building site - but it is a lovely space in need of restoration. Let's face it though... It's a spoons outside a big train station - the place is always manic! Staff are always lovely.

Good atmosphere good place A super cheap London breakfast.

Friends took me here on a Thursday evening after work. It was packed but was still able to get a pint within two minutes. Beer is pretty cheap here especially considering it is just outside Liverpool Station. The standing area outside was really cool, loud but expected.

The bouncer was not informed about the laws in the UK On 10th April, my parents and I (17) tried to go into this pub, but after he checked my ID he refused to let me and my parents in “because of the law”. This is the law btw: https://www.gov.uk/alcohol-young-people-law#:~:text=You%20can%20be%20stopped%2C%20fined,someone%20to%20sell%20you%20alcohol This unfortunate situation for the us and the pub (lost customers who ate elsewhere) could’ve been evaded if the Hamilton Hall trained their bouncers properly

I've never really been that keen on Wetherspoon's but I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked Hamilton Hall. A friendly atmosphere and quick bar service. Not bad at all.
