Food was delicious. The restaurant with a difference. The fish and chips dish was good, the fish could do with a little more salt. But that's on the table.

Shocking the guy behind the bar did his best to ignore everyone. Not friendly at all.

This establishment is good until 2200 GMT, then manager brings in outdoor chairs and tables and forces everyone out at 2305. Really?!? Try prince edward or prince Alfred for more relaxed experience in last hour. Behind bar staff good, so there is that.

We reserved a table including food and unfortunately didn't get anything to eat because there was too much going on. Total nonsense.

I asked the bartender if the pubs english breakfest had a time gap when they serve it in the mornings. The guy just stared at me and told me to look it up on Google. I said I tried but I hadn't found any info on it there and he just said he doesn't know and continued staring at me. The worst customer service I've ever seen in the whole of London...

Good food, great beer, cosy ambience. They let us know food might take 1h and then it came within 20mins afterall. Lovely little place.

Pretty average pub, due to it's location it is very touristy. Food was pricey but good. I would venture towards Paddington if you want to enjoy a Proper pub.

Perhaps it is not the most "original" of London pubs, but there is a pleasant atmosphere and the manager, who seems Italian, is a person who knows how to put customers at ease.

I had my eye on their steak and ale pie for awhile. Did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and warm service, too.

We came in mentioning we wanted to have dinner, mind you we are tourist. While waiting and not knowing we had to order at the bar, the host came up to as and said “ we have customers coming in and out if your not gonna order anything you can leave” while trying to explain that i wanted to order he cut me off and told me “he didn’t care for excuses and wanted us to leave. When we did eventually get the opportunity to get a word in we explained that we are tourist, and didn’t know that we had to order at the bar. He didn’t really care and ushered us to order. However, at this point i was done with the bad service and the disrespect.

Made a booking online for food, arrived and was told to order right away or the kitchen would be closed. Immediately made an order at the bar only to be told the kitchen was closed, which was confusing as my reservation was for 8.30 and to have a meal and not just drinks. Very disappointing.

All the hand-pump beers were off, and they also didn't have the sandwich I ordered: very poor stock control!

Pub located in Bayswater. I don't know if they are a chain with different names but they have the same menu as Red Lion and Adam and Eve. However, the prices are affordable and the quality of the food is good. Took a Nushroom Chilli bus and two Fish and Chips. We give 4 stars because we had to clean the table ourselves and they brought the orders wrong.

Lovely pub to come and have a couple pints. Abdi behind the bar gave great recommendations and was very friendly, will come again!

Amazing pub, very enjoyable place, I came few days ago for a delightful dinner with my friend. I had the Flat Iron Steak, paired with a glass of Sancerre and a side of battered halloumi. Fantastic food and solid service courtesy of Abdi. Abdi is very warm and accommodating and made us feel at home. He’s very skilful and professional. I would definitely be visiting again!

Après deux tentatives infructueuses pour dîner, nous avons pu nous installer a une table à la troisième tentative mais il faut venir tôt ! Impossible de réserver par internet , mais en modifiant le jour et l’heure à plusieurs reprises … très frustrant. Finalement, nous avons apprécié l’accueil du personnel et les conseils (fait tester la bière avant de servir le verre) mon plat n’était pas à mon goût mais ma fille s’est régalée. Dessert très bon, partagé.

Good place Good food and friendly staff. I est the meat pie. We were told how long it would take to prepare the meal and it was quicker.

Typical English pub but run by a very nice Italian. We had a great time. We were welcomed with love and immediately felt at home. Despite the crowded place and the warning of a probable long wait, we didn't wait long and ate some good fish and chips.

After 12 years, we are drinking our favorite Guinness with Black again... the memories come back, although the charm remains the same. Great atmosphere and service, and we ate the Karaage Sticky Chicken and Beyond Meat Burger in the blink of an eye (I didn't even have time to take a photo). WE RECOMMEND!!!

Fantastic pub! Elegant and classic interior design, chill atmosphere, nice music, super friendly and helpful staff, tasty food! I like the way they cook Full English Breakfast: not too much oil. BTW the cheerful bartender actually asked how old I am when I ordered a cider. Pretty sure it’s a nice joke bc I’m already 30. Do I really look like I’m underage? ;)

The food was great and staff was very kind and helpful. My biggest problem here was the toilet. Well, I know it is mainly effect of customers who should stay in nowhere and never go to the public, but it is part of the establishment, and I had to remove one star.

Probably the worst “steak sandwich” I’ve ever had. Basically a sliver of average meat in bread with too much mustard.

The chef must hate his job. Ordered medium rare and the meat served was extremely well done. the piece of meat came cut up and to cut it up and serve it like this is an insult to us guests.

I had a great time at bays water the who served abdi was very welcoming and polite which made me feel less foreign and I will be returning.

Only stopped for a drink. Excited to see Cherry Bakewell cocktail on the menu. Should not have bothered. Tasted nothing like it and drink itself was very hard to drink so two were left unfinished. Next!

Went up to order food at 15:01 and got told the kitchen is closed even though the hours on Google say otherwise. Second time we’ve had issues where we couldn’t order.

It's a lovely pub but the service is terrible. I stopped by in the morning to have a coffee and the black lady at the bar said that she can serve only soft drinks. I pointed at the coffee machine behind her but she said that they don't serve coffee. Then I sat at the table outside and saw many empty coffee cups on the table. When this black lady came out to clear the table I pointed out that they do serve a coffee, otherwise there wouldn't be empty cups. She ignored me and didn't reply anything. So rude and lazy. Making a coffee doesn't take long, especially in a half empty pub. Thank you for your response Abdi, but that's not true, I heard you very clearly. And the fact that you publicly lie now, doesn't make it better.

We came here and ordered some drinks and food to share. We went to the bathroom to wash our hands and there was absolutely no soap. We checked all hand sanitizer stations and all were empty. Let the waitress know and she could not care less. Apparently the men’s bathroom was the same. Our drinks were okay, got a tap beer and a couple soft drinks. Food was very disappointing. We got the nachos to share, the sour cream looked melted and like a liquid. Orange cheese sauce, a little bit of avocado and salsa. The chips were extremely salty and the whole thing was honestly hard to eat. We also got the smashed potatoes and they weren’t what we expected. Very very average. Honestly very disappointed with the staffs lack of care for everyone. Definitely not coming again

The atmosphere is on track for any person. Best pub grub and the bar staff are so friendly and welcoming, especially Abdi , he is a credit to this venue . Thank you Abdi for everything .

How to start describing this? Paid £50 for two meals and barely got one, not really sure what is this, i was shocked when it arrived. Honestly, this is taking a mikey, how can you serve only two paper thin onion rings, 3 small tomatos, standard oven chips and a tiny tiny salad that looks like someone leftover from another plate. Steak wasnt nice at all, was very dry, didnt taste like anything, no seasoning. Had to ask the waitress to clean the table that was very filthy with dust and ashes for us when she brought the food over. The only redeeming feature is the katsu burger by itself that was good and juicy. If you looking for traditional english pub food dont come here

Neighborhood superpub. Good food. The only drawback is always ordering at the bar even if you are at a table. The staff was very nice.

good service and beautiful space and atmosphere. if you are here for drink this is the place to be. but do not order the food! my family had two of the worst meals we had on our trip so far here. the fish and chips and scampi tasted wet and flavorless and were not worth the price we paid. not even ketchup and salt could save it. nice place to relax and catch up with friends but come with a full stomach.

We had the worst two meals imaginable. A steak sandwich which was a joke and a chicken dish which was inedible. We have been coming to London for many many years and this was by far our worst eating experience. I would give it no stars if it was possible.

A beautiful bar, a very nice barman, reservation had just been made when we arrived, food was quite good and there were decent portions, unfortunately the brown sugar was in my mojito. You could sit down wherever you wanted, you ordered and paid at the bar, and the food was served at the table. When ordering, they ask about allergies and when ordering with alcohol they make sure that the customers are not underage. Unfortunately the toilet only had cold water.

We often live in the area when we are in London, and therefore visit the area's pubs, including the Bayswater Arms.

Beautiful, classic pub not far from Kensington Gardens. Excellent beers, especially IPAs, and a good choice of whiskeys and gins. Excellent service.

Been here many times but not sure we will be back. Service not great and staff generally seem very disinterested in customers. Tables uncleared for long periods. Customers asking for tables but staff not keen to engage or make conversation. Its location makes it handy. Good to watch the world go by but far better pubs in the area

We took a cab at the Hotel we stayed to Bayswater Arms for dinner. Walk into Bayswater Arms. It is traditionally an English Pub with nice atmosphere . Although plenty of seating options , it is mostly taken when we enter, as its getting busy. Seems its quite popular with tourists and also for the locals to unwind after a busy day . A notice is displayed to inform customers to order , pay at the counter. The food was then served to our table. Service is fast and friendly. For fish & Chips, the cod was fried perfectly with crispy fries served along a delicious tartare sauce. The Steak & ale Pie with succulent beef fillings in crispy flaky crust is simply delicious. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended if anyone is in the Bayswater area.

The food is really nice and abundant. The place is a topical English pub, really nice. The service is really poor, the guy asked me to move from one table to other to accommodate people entering and at the end I had to order my food myself at the counter.

Went there to get the typical fish and chips and the famous brittisch pub atmosphere. Food was great. Atmosphere was great with some music and a lively pub crowd.
