Popped in for a quick drink and some lunch as it’s conveniently located between Columbia Road and Broadway Market. Unfortunately I didn’t stay long enough to drink or eat anything as the table staff refused to answer any questions about the menu, and once I’d reached the front of the line to order I was told that none of the things I wanted from the menu were things they actually sell anymore. What food they did have looked nice, but the atmosphere put me off.

Every time I go to London I need to go here. Genuine food, cosy place and relaxing time far from the rat race of the city. I love it.

Its very lovely farm. The entrance was warm and good. You can see chickens, ducks, donkey, goat and very big pigs. Because the farm is located in the middle of city, place is not so big. However we spent almost two hours there. There is an Italian restaurant inside. Entrance for the farm is free but you can donate some money to help animals.

Great place for a delicious, good value takeaway lunch near to Old Street. £7.50. I have tried the chicken curry and jerk chicken and both were delicious and the portion was generous.

A disappointing experience with poor customer service despite a nice setting and decent food. I visited the pub with friends last Sunday and tried to order a burger using their QR code system. The order failed three times, each time displaying an error message. Thinking it might be a payment issue, I retried—only succeeding on the fourth attempt. That final, successful transaction came to £21.45 instead of the standard £19.50, as I had opted to add parmesan cheese and upgrade to rosemary fries To my surprise, three burgers were brought to the table—each from those supposed “failed” transactions. I explained the issue to the manager and asked the extras be taken back as I wouldn’t be paying for meals I didn’t knowingly order. He said he’d managed to stop the fourth meal from leaving the kitchen, but insisted I pay for the other three, despite acknowledging their system didn’t indicate successful orders the first few times. Despite my clear initial request for him to take all surplus meals away, these were left on the table. I can only assume because he was quite busy at this time and had other orders to bring out, but it was not my intention to leave these orders on the table. One of my friends agreed to take an extra meal, so I was willing to pay for two. But instead, I have been ultimately charged for all four meals—£79.95 in total—despite having eaten only one, and despite the company saying they would only charge me for three. What made the situation worse was the dismissive and patronising attitude from staff. When I raised the issue at the bar, I overheard them talking about the situation as if I were at fault. Their stance was that “any normal person” would’ve gone to the bar after a failed transaction—ignoring the fact that their system clearly showed errors, generating multiple failed order messages. I was told that nothing like this had ever happened during the manager’s two-year tenure, which only reinforced my impression that they believed I was fabricating the entire situation. Mistakes happen, especially with tech. But the refusal to take responsibility, the unprofessional tone, and the complete lack of empathy were totally avoidable. I’d urge anyone using their online ordering system to double-check everything—or better yet, stick to ordering at the bar, or simply choose a different pub altogether—one that values customer service more than recouping the cost of three burgers

I have visited this pub regularly over the last 10 years. Good pub. The seating terrace on the roof is a favourite (anybody writing reviews where the word "favourite" is misspelt with no letter U and will be barred permanently) 👍. Where locals and regulars provide a good atmosphere.
