Ordered online for a carry out. Excellent looking menu, and we were starving. Almost immediately - order cancelled. No reason, no call, no re-mail, no message, no nothing. Just cancelled. And yes, the credit card is fine. Avoid, unless you enjoy disappointment.

Great food with amazing service. Authentic test for biryani and indian curry. Service is quick and food served hot. Cocktails made by owner that test amazing.

Over price food with little quantity of food as you pay nearly 10.95 for a main dish. We went there for a evening meal and place the order for main paneer tikka masala, rice , tarka dal and plain tandoor Nan and the Naan was readymade cut in to piece and wasn’t even plain but they serve garlic naan. But when the food arrived after long time it was just slightly warm not even hot, so I asked the waitress to warm up the food again & when arrived again same as before slightly warm. The food was tasteless & service was awful

The owner and his family were very friendly but I can’t recommend the restaurant. The service was very amateurish (the waitress spoke limited English and made a mistake with the order, the items we ordered didn’t arrive together). The quality of the cooking was poor. The onions that came with the paneer kebab were almost raw and the bhindi bhaji was just a few small pieces swimming in an undistinguished kadhai sauce. The nan was far too floury, and probably hadn’t been left to rise for long enough.

we arrived, at the time booked, in this small restaurant, which was very quiet - only 2 other tables for 2. Our party of 5 ordered drinks and studied the menu. A party of 8, let's call them parliamentarians arrived a little later, had their drinks order taken and delivered, their food order taken and starters delivered before our order was taken. It was almost 2 hours before our main courses, one short, arrived - by which time another disgruntled couple had paid for drinks and cancelled their long awaited food order. The naan breads were thin, crisp and flavourless, and the dishes just warm, and some quite tasteless. There was no draft beer, and only 5 bottles of Cobra, then some small bottles of Peroni to drink. At various times, gentle reminders were offered to staff, but no action was taken to remedy things. No apology was forthcoming, and there was no offer of compensation. Quite spoiled a 7th birthday dinner for one of our number - we won't be back.

This was probably the worst Indian meal I have ever had in or out of India. The paneer tikka kebab was completely tasteless and partly cremated as were the onions and peppers it was served on. The fish in the saag curry was raw. We did not order an alternative because we did not have time to wait. The waitress was aware of the issues, but made no attempt to offer any reduction when we asked for the bill. If no stars was an option, I would have chosen that. They need to seriously consider quality control if they want to stay in business.

Vishant Das from Guchhi restaurant is very chilling person and very friendly he understands customers needs and prepares the delicious food😋😋 accordingly and he plans the trip very well with excellent time management and he also entertain us nicely, he plans for very good views, beaches, castles and other places I recommend him for any plans of trip with family and friends. I’ve been coming here for a few years and the food has always been good. However things seem to have slipped since I last came before lockdown. The starters on the menu looked interesting with quite a bit of variety so we ordered a sharing plate for the two of us. I should obviously have asked what this was, as when it arrived it was 90% pakora with only a few tiny morsels of meat. Main courses were also disappointing - I ordered a chicken tikka rogan josh which was a curious maroon colour and had no discernible tomato flavour. The naan bread also didn’t seem to have been anywhere near a clay oven and was quite dry and crispy. We had bottles of cobra as the fraught option was unavailable. I’m sad to be writing this as I have previously had good meals there - maybe they had an off night?

El escritor fue rápido cuando ordenó bebidas y comida y fue agradable verlo sonreír ya que algunos miembros del personal del restaurante no pueden ser molestados. Visited Guchhi while staying in the nearby Hilton DoubleTree on a business trip. While our company’s expense policy is generous, I normally avoid flashy restaurants where you go to be “seen to eat”, preferring instead wholesome food.

We were passing by the guchhi indian and decided to go for lunch as the advert on the board outside said any curry with rice and a beer £9.95 we ate the curry and staff tried to charge us £63.00 for 3 lunches didn't pay it left £33.00 for 3 of us what a rip off,not only did they try to rip us off but the toilets were stinking of pish would never go back stinking attitude to the public.

Went in and asked for the “Special Lunch Menu”..Curry of your choice, Rice and a Beer-£9.95. Confirmed with the waitress about the offer, twice, and she confirmed. We each ordered a portion of spiced onions, and the food arrived shortly after. It was rubbish. We asked for the bill, which came and totalled £63.00. We queried the bill and were informed the £9.95 was for a carry out meal. The waitress phoned someone, and shortly after, a friend of hers turned up. He also said the price quoted was for a carry out and a glass of beer. It was pointed out that the premises did not have a carry out license, and even if it did, an open container was not permitted. He tried to threaten us with the CCTV, but was put in his place. Give this place a miss.

After a number of years using this restaurant, the staff and food are always just great. A recent update to the menu is also pleasing with a number of new dishes. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are happy to cater for small and large groups. I will continue to be a customer and would recommend it highly.

We were touring the city all day, and didn't eat dinner. We found this cute place at 11pm, (stays open til 3am!) We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff who recommended a great selection of dishes for milder tastes. Topped off with chai and naan, with an extra serving of rice so that we could enjoy our leftovers again the next day! Delicious!

We were going to a show in the Usher Hall and wanted to find somewhere nearby to eat. I have Meerkat Meals and this restaurant was on the list of participating venues. We were very pleased with our meal. We both had the soup to start and, after the first spoonful, my husband said it was exactly like a soup he’d had when he was in Goa a few years ago. Our main courses were generous and very tasty. Service was efficient and our server had a constant smile on her face. We both intend to return in the near future. The only downside was the toilet which was very basic but perfectly clean.

Don't be taken in by the star ratings like we were. I usually pay little attention to the bad reviews, especially when they are vastly outnumbered by the glowing reports but on this occasion they were spot on.
