Lovely food and lovely warm welcome. But and it’s only a slight but. Please stop singing along to the music . People go for a quiet coffee lunch brunch but the lady in there sings the whole time .

Post Pen-y-Ghent hike on a blustery day, so a pie and a pint was never so welcome! Lovely service, great atmosphere and the food was excellent. Highly recommend!

Main High Street Car ParkGot seated with menu then waited!! After 15 minutes I had to ask for order to be taken. Food was good when it arrived. Our waitress was less than efficient. Other customers arriving after us were served some time before us.

Church StreetExceptional food! Five cask ales. Enthusiastic and attentive (young) staff. The type of pub that makes you want to move near to it. Oh, and the BEST chips you will ever taste, wonderfully complemented by the gravy and the outstanding steak and ale pie,

New RoadWe have visited her over many years on our journey from the lake District to Harrogate and back. It used to be privately owned I believe and the food and quality was excellent. Sadly this is no longer the case, just another generic chain. Our food was average at bedtime I'm afraid with the prawns on my partner's microwaved jacket potato being completely tasteless. Such a pity.
