I had my good service by Gordon gave me a complimentary slice of cake for my birthday tomorrow I would say this is my best experience I have ever come across in when dining out. I would recommend this place to others as they are very welcoming . Review by Lewis G

Buffet breakfast .The food was not hot . Had to bring to staff attention the fried eggs .The yolks were as hard as bullets .Think they had been there since opening .Asked for some fresh when spoke with manager he stated they were under the lights . No apology was given by him . I stated that the cook should be checking the food anyway . He said he would check the rest . Just because food tray are not low does not mean that they should not be replenished . Food should be replenished to endure best food experience for custo.ers Perhaps the manager should take do.e custo.er service lessons from a young waitress Kat who was very apologetic for my experience. 4 stars for Kat ,barely 1 star for buffet breakfast and the manager . Best thing was the toast /marmalade .

Everyone was very welcoming, especially Gordan, who we had some banter with. Would definitely recommend Grove Farm. We had the carvery, and every bite was delicious.

Made to feel very welcome, the staff are very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Big shout out to Krishan who goes out of his way too look after us, always very polite and friendly and make the best Irish Cream Liqueur coffee which is the reason we come every week. Thank you Krishan and thank you Gordon for showing me how to leave this review you are all deserving of praise. The Company should be proud of you.

Lovely carvery- although roast potatoes not as nice as usual!! All staff lovely, in particular Gordon who takes time to ensure customers have the best dining experience. Lovely gentleman with a heart of gold.

Coffee machine still out of order which is annoying but otherwise, good food and nice environment.

Service and atmosphere was great, staff were lovely and approachable. Unfortunately Tuesday carvery wasn't great, potatoes were dry and the Yorkshire puddings were stale - had definitely been sat out for a long while. The rest was okay. Probably better to go on Sundays where the food is changed more frequently.

I had great customer service from Gordon today, he moved some things around so we could get a booking confirmed for 20 people and was very polite and helpful throughout the phone call. This isn’t our first visit to Grove Farm, and the food and service is always lovely! Thank you.

My family went to Grove Farm this evening for my husband’s birthday and had a lovely evening. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food lovely and hot. I’d like to say a special thank you to Gordon who served us. He was welcoming on our arrival and went the extra mile all evening. We will definitely return.

Food was plentiful. We used an app to order so perhaps not got the full available face to face service. App was easy to use though.

We were there yesterday evening. The food was nice unfortunately it was let down by the poor service. One person serving behind the bar and when eventually someone came to assist him after the que got larger and larger. The women behind the bar has a grumpy face and had no manners no politeness in her what so ever. She never said thank you or nothing. Like she didn’t want to be there. My friends found her the same. Also the two waiters bought the food to our table spilling chips on the floor none one came to clean it up. And when they were taking the plates when we had finished another waiter spilled rice all over the table again no one came to clean it up.my friend cleaned it up. Would we go there again maybe not unless they improved on the issues raised above. It’s doesn’t cost anything to greet your customer or apologise for the delay in service and be polite thanking them for their order.

I've not been here for absolutely years, however what an improvement!! Lovely atmosphere & staff r super friendly! My sister & I had the carvery! Omg!! Stunning!!! Everything was lovely & fresh! Great tasting food & plenty of variety, mash, roast & new potatoes & plenty of vegetable options too!! We will be back!! I would like to mention Gordon! What a refreshing change to actually have a lovely chat whilst being served, rather than just a "Hi, what can I get u?."

Nice pub, good location, plenty of gluten free options and always been safe with no reaction so a great place for me to eat comfortably ☺️

Hit n Miss, sometimes food it great, portion size of the meat is terrible... Chefs can't cut a slice of meat, they just hack it...

So we booked a table for half 2 today, this booking also had booking notes to ask to accommodate my mum who's in a wide wheelchair. As we arrived, the women at the welcome stand saw we were trying to get through the doors and didn't offer any help to open the other door for us to get through (bare in mind it was me pushing my mum in the wheelchair and my sister who was holding the other door behind us). She then didn't welcome us with a smile or a simple hello, just a very rude "just find a table". We had booked and a table should have been reserved but not even a chance to explain this to her as she just repeated herself again being rude. So we didn't feel welcome to start with. My next problem was that there's very little room to move about and we had to move our own chairs to make space for my mums wheelchair. Next problem was my mum found hair and egg shell in her food which put her off finishing her dinner. Then when our plates were finally cleared after a long time of waiting, there's was no I hope everything was okay and reserved signs were placed on thetable while we were still sat, even though they said it wasnt for another hour which again comes off as quite rude, wait til we have gone. Lastly, I think the only time we were asked about allergies was at the end of our stay when we ordered a to go desert and paid off the tab. You guys are so lucky you have decent carveries because that's the only reason why I come because the service is awful besides the last women with braids who actually served us with a smile and did her job right, I like her.

Food is hit and miss sometimes it is good sometimes it is not , Usually staff are ok but today appeard to be a bad team on . 3.4.25. There was no interaction of a welcoming smile, and offer of help to our table and wasn't asked about food alergies when ordering or after the meal if everything was OK with our food . The finished plates were left on our table for a good 15/ 20 minutes before someone collected them and they were not particularly busy ,even then the member of staff did not interact or speak to us. Whilst we were seated waiting for desert reserved cards were placed on our table , was told don't worry it's not for another couple of hrs . I found this to be quite rude , surely wait untill previous dinners have left the table before setting up for the next ones . There was eggshell in my egg and a hair on my steak. Overall was not a welcoming relaxed comfortable helpful atmosphere at all,

Come to Grove farm today with my son and fiance. I had a lovely time, and the food was really good service was excellent from Sarah.d will definitely be coming again been here a load of times now as I love it here

Had carvery at lunch time today at Grove Farm. We were served by Krishan who was absolutely fantastic at helping me with my Blue Card app. He went out of his way and was so patient with me. Went above and beyond. Thank you Connie

Not happy at all, I ordered a vegetarian carvery which according to description was a cheese and potato pie, served with a Yorkshire pudding neither were provided so only received a tray of veg.

Great atmosphere, and ferry friendly service with a smile. We got a very good greeting by Gordon but i have seen him before at this pub. He is always very cheerful, friendly and polite too. He greets and treats all customers very well. Food was Fab too. We had 2 Caverys and meat was succulent and wide choice vegetables. Was delicious along with great atmosphere and good music too. Thanks Gordon for a lovely welcome and keep up the good services.

Great menu selection opted for carvery, small reasonable priced just under £9. 3 meat selection and plenty of vegetables and sides.. Enjoyed my meal, friendly staff. Would recommend and return next time when in Leicester.

Absolutely loved the food, filled me up quickly but loved it!

The food is good for the price and always tasty. But I mainly wanted to shout out Jamie (apologies if the name is misspelt) who, after serving my grandma and me at the carvery, came round to help my grandmother by giving her his arm to hold, and carrying her plate back to the table for her whilst I got my own food. He didn't have to take the time out to help and be so kind whilst doing so. So I wanted to say thank you very much!
