Friendly staff easy to book via website Sunday roast gets better and better be back next Sunday

Excellent service as usual from all of the staff! You're pleasantly greeted on arrival and they waste no time in getting you to your table, but it doesn't feel rushed, just well organised! Food as always was gorgeous, we always come back for a reason! Top service, top food, top staff!

We eat quite often at The Manor Inn at Glen Parva and Pete & Lori are great hosts. The staff are very welcoming and Always go the extra mile, the restaurant is clean, fresh and tidy. The food is cooked to our liking and we consider ourselves as regulars to this great venue. A special thanks to Jack who was very professional in his job.

Staff really friendly and the food is really good

Very busy when we arrived but got a table without booking. Food did take a while to arrive but very nice when it did. The staff were pleasant and courteous but seemed rushed off their feet. Will definitely use this restaurant again.

Lovely old pub serving good quality pub style meals. Smallish bar area which feels cosy rather than crowded.Excellent friendly service . Good choice of lagers and beers . Pub was busy but still served food quickly. We had 3 meals and were all tasty and piping hot . Would definitely recommend

Good food at a reasonable price

We came as a party of 9 with 5 dogs to celebrate a birthday. Staff and food were perfect. Plus birthday boy felt truly spoilt. Fab afternoon.

How They Laid Out In The Extension Part Of The Glen Parva "Manor", Because It Catered For Everyone Needs - The Children's Was Just Door Steps Away From The Kid's Playground Area - Regarding - The Food:- I Felt With My Hunter's Chicken I Wanted Mash,I Would Of Liked Veg With My Food, Being A Former NHS Nurse,We Strife Healthy Options In Food Instead Of Chips All The Time - It Was Nicely Laid Out And The Blonde Lady - Who Took Charge - Made Sure The Orders Came Out In Order The Meals Were Processed - (Because There Were Children In The Party - You Would Of Thought,The Kids Meal's Would Of Come Out 1st, Because Of The Waiting Time - And Can Be Lengthy - So Children Could Of Enjoyed Their Meals And Come Back Later For Any Sweet Deserts After The Adults Had Finished

Visited for Sunday lunch. Cannot fault the food..always nice and fresh.. We were seated in the older side in front of a fireplace..could smell throughout my lunch mould pores coming from black damp wall next to us. There was a slimy slug trail doing 10 circles on the carpet, round our chair legs.. Broccoli in the fireplace that had been there a very long time along with other bits of food..Always have a desert but had to pay up and leave. Made me feel ill..cleanliness was well below par

We went as a family if 10 - 4 adults 6 children & a dog !! The service was excellent and the food was very good. All the meals came out pretty much together - as together as possible with so many people to cater for. The meals must have been good as there were almost empty plates all round. The drinks were served prior to the meal and once against the service was excellent. Both the food and drinks orders were right first time - Quite a feat with so many of us there. The dog loved his doggie dinner and the waiter even got us a bowl of water for him. The bill was also reasonable considering there were 10 of us plus the dog and the kids had puddings too.All in all a great experience and lovely food & good service.

Sunday lunch good but wish they would put veg separate so you can choose want you want

A Marstons pub in a converted manor house with friendly staff and family atmosphere. A 30% discount voucher was available when I registered to make a booking. The steak was ordered as 'medium' but came 'rare'.

Had a lovely meal at the glen parva manor, was served by Marie , who was lovely, all the staff were very helpful and cheerful.

So seemed like a nice pub. Good array of beers and ciders in tap. Nice location stuff for kids. That said, was really disappointed with your Euro final setup. A very small TV was setup not high enough and our table placed behind another so we couldn't see. We left before kick off as we actually wanted to watch the football. Also music was played over the sound. Didn't really live up to your advertising disappointing.

This is a local place to me and normally its not too bad but on this occasion it wasn't good... I just wanted a couple starters for my main so I had the nachos and bbq wings.. I only ate the nachos as the bbq wings WOOOOW sorry the paprika over powers the bbq sauce which isn't a great taste at all, may be rename them on your menu as paprika wings with a hint of bbq....

this is by far the best food we've ever tasted. I had the salt and chilli kebab, I've honestly never tasted a kebab so good. the service was brilliant, we were served by Marie, she was very friendly and efficient. would 100% recommend and will definitely be using this pub above our usual regular.

I had the best Gammon Steak ever! Really nice piece of meat cooked to perfection. 2 runny eggs, perfect chips crispy on the outside & fluffy in the middle. All pipping hot apart from the salad! My husband had the 8oz Rump Steak that was also excellent served with a peppercorn sauce. Although the pub was busy, we were served very quickly & efficiently.

The food is the best I've had for a long time and the staff are so lovely The pub is clean and cosy I really enjoyed my visit thanks a lot to all the staff and the chef Really good parking as well!!

Fabulous experience again at the Manor, despite it being very busy with father’s day. Food was incredible, service incredible. Marie was our fantastic server again, shes great and i look forward to having her when we come in. Please give her a bonus as she deserves it! 😃

Fun family get together. Not rushed. We had around 14 people there at different timings. We ordered separately and ate our meals and then others turned up and did the same. No hassle. Nice food too. And then finished off with an unexpected quiz night.

Went with our five children and that can be challenging sometimes staff were friendly and polite and one member of staff I think she was a supervisor even made my children giggle and laugh and our son ate his peas which he never touches thanks to this member of staff who made them laugh. She high fived my three year old and it was a lovely evening. Will happily go again and bring my children. Food was excellent as always and the kids made loads of comments on how yummy the food was and that it was the best food on earth so 110% and more given. I wish I knew names to give special recognition but there were two members of staff that were great the staff member who showed us to our table and served us as well as her manager I believe. Both were excellent and lovely with all of us especially the children. Thank you for making a restaurant dinner easy and stress free for our big family.

Highly recommend, food is lovely, staff are friendly and helpful, checked if they could do a certain meal that worked with my allergies, were really good with that, choice for allergies are really good & nothing is a problem. Nice place to take dogs too, thank you to caroline for serving us & being brilliant with my allgeries x

We rarely get a chance to come together for a meal out, and we had a very enjoyable evening at Glen Parva Manor. The booking experience was very easy, and we arrived on time, and were shown straight to our table. Having chosen our meals, with a couple of substitutions for different accompanying vegetables, our meals arrived very quickly, and we were happy to see the full plates. We really enjoyed our meals, and hope to come back again.

We like to visit here with friends.... most times we would say every thing is spot on: But, we have noticed a BIG difference in the Quality of THE Cooking OF Steak. It seems it is getting worse...no matter how you asked it to be cooked..ie. medium.... medium rare...etc..its over cooked and tough. Awful....yes we could complain and wait for a replacement...BUT WHY should we...We are meeting with friends who travel to visit us from the other side of Leicestershire !! You do have ISSUES....Regards

It was a very good lunch with friends. Staff friendly and welcoming.

The only problem with our latest visit is you didn't honour the 30% discount voucher I had brought in. Just because it was a Saturday over a Bank Holiday, very disappointed with not even giving us a little discount as we purposely came to eat at your pub.

Sat outside enjoying the sun and it was beaut, the service on the drinks were great. Just a bit pricey.

The staff were attentive. About 15/20 minute wait for food, totally acceptable as you know it is being cooked from scratch. Excellent battered fish, enough chips, only a small portion of mushy peas so they went cold before they were finished. On the whole a very good meal. I hate to see an overloaded plate as it puts me off it was a pleasant surprise to see this meal as it was well presented.

My wife didn't like the taste of her Lasagne, a bit stodgy and probably had spices that she didn't like, so possibly a personal thing. The worst problem was a long table of adults with their children sitting on another table. The kids were climbing on the benches and over the top and running around, being noisy. A bad experience for us. Control your children and consider others.

Everyone friendly it's dog and family friendly I even returned with a friend the next day sat in the garden.

Very pleasant and helpful staff looked after us really well , food was delicious and arrived in good time from ordering even tho we were a table of 13. It was aa family gathering to celebrate 3 birthdays and we had travelled fr9m Grimsby to celebrate and you certainly helped us with that. Keep up the good work , we will be back very soon 😀

Unfortunately having visited a few times, this time we were very disappointed, my knife was dirty but was replaced when my food arrived. I don't usually order a burger as I feel they're too expensive and I may as well go to McDonalds, however my wife wanted a burger so I also ordered one. The main issue was that my wife ordered the black and blue burger from the specials board only to be told that there was no stilton and so she had to order something else which ended up being a lot more expensive, why, when the specials menu had only just been released did you have missing food? So I ended up having a meal that I didn't particularly want and ate a burger on my own whilst my wife ate a proper meal. Not only this, the service was very slow, from waiting to be shown to a table, placing our order and the food been delivered, hence we didn't bother with a dessert. We were close to walking out having waiting to have the order placed and then waiting to be told that the stilton was off the menu.

Marie was really nice and made us feel really welcome. The food was really nice too

Called in for a meal with the wife before going to the football, loved the building the decor and the fact there was plenty of space between the tables, ordering drink and food and even payment was done at your table, unusual perk for a pub grub establishment. I had pie and mash which was lovely, and the wife had doner kebab meat with peri peri sauce on a flatbread that she absolutely loved, despite the fact she was wearing half of it by the time we left, her fault not the pubs 😂 The whole experience was topped off by our waitress Caroline who attended our needs, all with a smile and a sense of humour 5 * for her.

Awful experience! Table booked for 6:30pm and on arrival was told booking was found, lead to our table to find it occupied! Party of 7 we had to trundle back through the crowded dining area to be met with a very ‘forthright’ member of staff stating our booking wasn’t there…. That they were extremely busy and we would have to wait. When questioned how long, a shrug of the shoulders was given, was informed again that they were busy and we would just have to wait. The young lady who originally looking after us looked like she wanted the ground to open underneath her. She pointed out our booking and was told “they will have to wait” ….. errrrrrrr still standing in front of you my love!! We decided to wait outside for 20 minutes, with the server keep smiling at us and telling us she was trying to sort it…… we just left. Yes we could see it was busy, yes I understand that people don’t leave tables very quickly but to have a booking and then told we hadn’t!!!! Nope! Not impressed. We live and learn and safe to say custom lost!

Booked a table for 4. Greeted by name on arrival. Friendly and polite server named Caroline. Food arrived relatively quickly, my allergy had been noted and served separately. Will visit again.

Were to start I booked a table like always we were shown to the table that was fine. Not the table I asked for like in other weeks. I asked for table 6 because it is quiet there because my father inlaw has 2 hearing aids & any back ground noise he can not hear to good. They took the drink orders fine, then all down hill We had to call someone over to take the food order after nearly 20 minutes then after 10 minutes the food came out on cold plates so the father inlaws fish & chips was not hot, the chips were just warm my cheese burger was black, over cooked & the chips I had with it were warm. What is the point of hot food on cold plates? Answer none. Me & my father inlaw have been to the manor pub 7 times in the last 8 weeks. Each week when booking the table I ask for hot plates. The service is getting worse & we were not the only ones this week. On one table they knocked the drinks bill off their bill to keep the customers happy. NOT HAPPY this week so we shall not be going back!
