I can honestly say that with hand on heart, The Manor is an exceptional place to eat. From start to finish the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much. The food was brilliant. We will be back again very soon.

As usual, great food and service to the table, the bar needs extra staff at busy times, but cannot fault what has been the last 4 or 5 visits. Looking forward to eating and drinking with you again !

Went to a wake after my uncles funeral it was ok but really needed more staff, obviously that's just my opinion.

2nd visit this week, and enjoyed both. We had not been to the Manor for over a year, and having had friends comments about the improvements made, we decided to give it a try. The food was excellent on both occasions, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. On the first visitor server was Danielle, and she was efficient, attentive and friendly. A credit to your restaurant. The second visit our server was Marie, and again we could not praise her enough. We always believe that the staff made a venue and you should be proud of yours. Every future success.

Booked for 4pm but was seated early, drinks were bought straight away, food was not long after and was hot, really tasty and great. Really happy with the experience, didnt feel rushed either

So nothing much has changed. The service was OK from the young man and our lime and sodas had lots of lime so full marks for that but the burger was well over done so as to be burnt at the edges and the cauliflower with bbq coating was just short of cremated, the chunky chips to with the cauliflower and fish were greasy and overcooked, fat tempreture to high?, Now I wanted to complain but the wife said to leave it as we had a 30% discount but not in a hurry to go back. So ok for drinks and service but still need to improve on the food.

Excellent service as usual from all of the staff! You're pleasantly greeted on arrival and they waste no time in getting you to your table, but it doesn't feel rushed, just well organised! Food as always was gorgeous, we always come back for a reason! Top service, top food, top staff!

We eat quite often at The Manor Inn at Glen Parva and Pete & Lori are great hosts. The staff are very welcoming and Always go the extra mile, the restaurant is clean, fresh and tidy. The food is cooked to our liking and we consider ourselves as regulars to this great venue. A special thanks to Jack who was very professional in his job.

Very busy when we arrived but got a table without booking. Food did take a while to arrive but very nice when it did. The staff were pleasant and courteous but seemed rushed off their feet. Will definitely use this restaurant again.

Lovely old pub serving good quality pub style meals. Smallish bar area which feels cosy rather than crowded.Excellent friendly service . Good choice of lagers and beers . Pub was busy but still served food quickly. We had 3 meals and were all tasty and piping hot . Would definitely recommend

Good food at a reasonable price

We came as a party of 9 with 5 dogs to celebrate a birthday. Staff and food were perfect. Plus birthday boy felt truly spoilt. Fab afternoon.

How They Laid Out In The Extension Part Of The Glen Parva "Manor", Because It Catered For Everyone Needs - The Children's Was Just Door Steps Away From The Kid's Playground Area - Regarding - The Food:- I Felt With My Hunter's Chicken I Wanted Mash,I Would Of Liked Veg With My Food, Being A Former NHS Nurse,We Strife Healthy Options In Food Instead Of Chips All The Time - It Was Nicely Laid Out And The Blonde Lady - Who Took Charge - Made Sure The Orders Came Out In Order The Meals Were Processed - (Because There Were Children In The Party - You Would Of Thought,The Kids Meal's Would Of Come Out 1st, Because Of The Waiting Time - And Can Be Lengthy - So Children Could Of Enjoyed Their Meals And Come Back Later For Any Sweet Deserts After The Adults Had Finished

this is a really nice place,,a good choice of food,cooked just right and very pleasant efficient waiters,the place was really clean throughout,and the prices very fair.2 of my guests wanted items made different to the menu and this was actioned without any problems,all in all a very good dining experience,

Caroline was very friendly and helpful. Friendly staff, attentive but not intrusive. Food all arrived in good time and tasted great. Veg was a little too Al-Dente though!

Visited for Sunday lunch. Cannot fault the food..always nice and fresh.. We were seated in the older side in front of a fireplace..could smell throughout my lunch mould pores coming from black damp wall next to us. There was a slimy slug trail doing 10 circles on the carpet, round our chair legs.. Broccoli in the fireplace that had been there a very long time along with other bits of food..Always have a desert but had to pay up and leave. Made me feel ill..cleanliness was well below par

We went as a family if 10 - 4 adults 6 children & a dog !! The service was excellent and the food was very good. All the meals came out pretty much together - as together as possible with so many people to cater for. The meals must have been good as there were almost empty plates all round. The drinks were served prior to the meal and once against the service was excellent. Both the food and drinks orders were right first time - Quite a feat with so many of us there. The dog loved his doggie dinner and the waiter even got us a bowl of water for him. The bill was also reasonable considering there were 10 of us plus the dog and the kids had puddings too.All in all a great experience and lovely food & good service.

A Marstons pub in a converted manor house with friendly staff and family atmosphere. A 30% discount voucher was available when I registered to make a booking. The steak was ordered as 'medium' but came 'rare'.

Had a lovely meal at the glen parva manor, was served by Marie , who was lovely, all the staff were very helpful and cheerful.

So seemed like a nice pub. Good array of beers and ciders in tap. Nice location stuff for kids. That said, was really disappointed with your Euro final setup. A very small TV was setup not high enough and our table placed behind another so we couldn't see. We left before kick off as we actually wanted to watch the football. Also music was played over the sound. Didn't really live up to your advertising disappointing.

This is a local place to me and normally its not too bad but on this occasion it wasn't good... I just wanted a couple starters for my main so I had the nachos and bbq wings.. I only ate the nachos as the bbq wings WOOOOW sorry the paprika over powers the bbq sauce which isn't a great taste at all, may be rename them on your menu as paprika wings with a hint of bbq....

this is by far the best food we've ever tasted. I had the salt and chilli kebab, I've honestly never tasted a kebab so good. the service was brilliant, we were served by Marie, she was very friendly and efficient. would 100% recommend and will definitely be using this pub above our usual regular.

I had the best Gammon Steak ever! Really nice piece of meat cooked to perfection. 2 runny eggs, perfect chips crispy on the outside & fluffy in the middle. All pipping hot apart from the salad! My husband had the 8oz Rump Steak that was also excellent served with a peppercorn sauce. Although the pub was busy, we were served very quickly & efficiently.

The food is the best I've had for a long time and the staff are so lovely The pub is clean and cosy I really enjoyed my visit thanks a lot to all the staff and the chef Really good parking as well!!

Fun family get together. Not rushed. We had around 14 people there at different timings. We ordered separately and ate our meals and then others turned up and did the same. No hassle. Nice food too. And then finished off with an unexpected quiz night.

Went with our five children and that can be challenging sometimes staff were friendly and polite and one member of staff I think she was a supervisor even made my children giggle and laugh and our son ate his peas which he never touches thanks to this member of staff who made them laugh. She high fived my three year old and it was a lovely evening. Will happily go again and bring my children. Food was excellent as always and the kids made loads of comments on how yummy the food was and that it was the best food on earth so 110% and more given. I wish I knew names to give special recognition but there were two members of staff that were great the staff member who showed us to our table and served us as well as her manager I believe. Both were excellent and lovely with all of us especially the children. Thank you for making a restaurant dinner easy and stress free for our big family.

Highly recommend, food is lovely, staff are friendly and helpful, checked if they could do a certain meal that worked with my allergies, were really good with that, choice for allergies are really good & nothing is a problem. Nice place to take dogs too, thank you to caroline for serving us & being brilliant with my allgeries x

We rarely get a chance to come together for a meal out, and we had a very enjoyable evening at Glen Parva Manor. The booking experience was very easy, and we arrived on time, and were shown straight to our table. Having chosen our meals, with a couple of substitutions for different accompanying vegetables, our meals arrived very quickly, and we were happy to see the full plates. We really enjoyed our meals, and hope to come back again.

We like to visit here with friends.... most times we would say every thing is spot on: But, we have noticed a BIG difference in the Quality of THE Cooking OF Steak. It seems it is getting worse...no matter how you asked it to be cooked..ie. medium.... medium rare...etc..its over cooked and tough. Awful....yes we could complain and wait for a replacement...BUT WHY should we...We are meeting with friends who travel to visit us from the other side of Leicestershire !! You do have ISSUES....Regards

The only problem with our latest visit is you didn't honour the 30% discount voucher I had brought in. Just because it was a Saturday over a Bank Holiday, very disappointed with not even giving us a little discount as we purposely came to eat at your pub.

The staff were attentive. About 15/20 minute wait for food, totally acceptable as you know it is being cooked from scratch. Excellent battered fish, enough chips, only a small portion of mushy peas so they went cold before they were finished. On the whole a very good meal. I hate to see an overloaded plate as it puts me off it was a pleasant surprise to see this meal as it was well presented.

My wife didn't like the taste of her Lasagne, a bit stodgy and probably had spices that she didn't like, so possibly a personal thing. The worst problem was a long table of adults with their children sitting on another table. The kids were climbing on the benches and over the top and running around, being noisy. A bad experience for us. Control your children and consider others.
