Glen Parva Manor in Blaby

Pleasant surroundings, good food and good value for money. No one rushing us. Food came out at a reasonable time from order and was piping hot. All in all a great night, staff were polite and welcoming

Visited recently for a family meal, 15 of us in total. We had to send at least half of the meals back. Of the 7 or so we sent back all of them were cold or some of the meal was cold when we got served. Mine was only barely warm, but I didn't want to have to wait longer, so I put up and ate up. (It was steak what can I say 😃 ) The last 4 meals to come out were piping hot. The women who served us throughout the meal were brilliant. I'm sorry I didn't get your names. Even with the complaints and being refunded for the meals, they kept a smile on their faces.

We booked the table the day before and it was ready just as requested. Staff speedily took our drinks and then food orders. The food from the lunch menu arrived very quickly and was hot and delicious. No fire on today ....the room a bit chilly!

Excellent service by the team members . My wife and I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the food was superb . Very enjoyable evening thank you. We'll be back soon hopefully with friends.

Occasion was a family birthday and we were to visit even without the BOGOF offer, it's a special restaurant for us to celebrate. We ate in the long room ( table 4) but were quite dismayed at the poor state of the chairs, all 4 were in a dirty mess. Felt reluctant to sit on them but didn't see any alternatives. The 2 Thai & gamon meals were delish but the steak which was requested to be medium rare was overcooked and returned. When the second steak was presented, it was cooked a little better but very tough and inedible. By this time our 3 meals had been long finished and my brother decided not to complain further as it had ruined the continuity of our birthday get together. The Glen Parva Manor is decorated beautifully, set in lovely surroundings and the staff (apart from the kitchen folk) are remarkable and caring. Perhaps the moral here is don't choose a steak meal, what a shame!

Came for my sons 23rd birthday party . What Wonderful experience . All the staff are so warm and friendly , Esme and Marie are just the best ! .. will definitely come again .

this is a really nice place,,a good choice of food,cooked just right and very pleasant efficient waiters,the place was really clean throughout,and the prices very fair.2 of my guests wanted items made different to the menu and this was actioned without any problems,all in all a very good dining experience,

We came to The Manor yesterday evening for my daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the lady who served us but she is an absolute credit to the company/pub. She was great with our children and even my 7 year old son stated how kind she was. (We were the 5pm booking on the 10/01/25). Food was lovely and we will definitely be coming to The Manor more often!

Always have the best meals and drinks at The Manor. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Perfect for a nice pub lunch or dinner, lots of choice on the menu.

As Always a very enjoyable visit. Staff always accommadating to extra requests. Friendly , great at judging if you want to chat to them or just place your order and be left to talk with your own guests. Also Covid safety recognised and gentlely implemented. Hats off to everyone. We were cold the whole time we were there, the food seemed very cheap and tasteless and once we were seated there was no hope of getting service. Will not return anytime soon.

Staff made you feel welcome food was tops 😋 made our Christmas Day 🎄 Dinner really special we also got placed in a nice spacious booth so all in all a truly nice day and we was not waiting long for our food came quickly it was pre ordered with it been Christmas but still came out quick cause the place was very busy nice to see staff smiling even if they was working Christmas day 😀

Found staff very friendly, even though it was staff training day we found the service really good , Faith our server was very helpful & kept checking Everything was ok , would highly recommend a visit.

Our food was very nice and hot & the staff were all friendly and lovely and helpful too! I had tomato soup & bread to start followed by turkey dinner with extra cauliflower cheese then warm chocolate brownie kinda like a sponge cake with ice cream and one of my friends had this delicious sticky toffee sponge with lots of sauce!

Good food at a reasonable price

Really lovely experience, from the warm welcome on arrival all the way through our meal and in the goodbyes. Would definitely recommend a visit here. Very nicely laid out for the festive meals and super generous portions.

Food is so-so. Choice is fine if you like burgers, but still very limited for pasta dishes. Lasagne is not one that I would recommend, rather underwhelming to be honest

Honestly it was amazing from the get go. Staff were so friendly and interacted with our baby. Our son had his first meal in a pub ever thanks to the reassurance of the staff members about his multiple allergies. They treated the situation with seriousness and gave some great recommendations. I felt at ease feeding him and it was just a wonderful meal with my family. Absolutely recommend especially if you have allergies and are hesitant to eat out.

Warm welcome, excellent service and the food is always superb. Always recommend you when someone wants to know where to eat.

Only popped in for a quick snack, it was very cold inside and so was the food, had to send it back, staff were good and warmed it up.

We booked a table for a Friday lunchtime. The service was brilliant our waitress, Lori was really good, looking after us well. The food was excellent and well presented. Looking forward to going again.

Quick lunchtime visit, had a pint of pedigree and a tuna melt baguette. Pub was quiet and service was fast and efficient. Nice pint and enjoyed the food.

We both had battered fish but where was the FISH?? All batter! Had to have a dessert to fill us up! This place has gone way down hill. Should have known as last time we went I had a solid burnt burger. But NEVER again!

Large family and dog friendly pub..with seating in and outdoors.Typical pub grub menu (steaks,fish and chips,burgers and lighter bites too ) as well as a specials menu too which should satisfy most tastes and appetites . Good range of draught and bottled beers ,cider & wines etc and friendly staff. Great historical building.Large car park. Outdoor Play area for kids too.

Esme and Marie were exceptional servers and it made all the difference to our visit. I would highly recommend Glen Parva Manor as somewhere to visit for lunch or dinner.

Food and service were fantastic .

We had chicken n bacon And Prawn salad, very large portions, plenty of chicken and Prawns, presented very nicely indeed. Staff are delightful, and no long wait, obs because it's a salad. Ti top it all, I have a taste card so got 25% off whole bill! We got to all the Marstons Pubs, and all fab 👌 for the price 😀 .

I can honestly say that with hand on heart, The Manor is an exceptional place to eat. From start to finish the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much. The food was brilliant. We will be back again very soon.

Went to a wake after my uncles funeral it was ok but really needed more staff, obviously that's just my opinion.

As usual, great food and service to the table, the bar needs extra staff at busy times, but cannot fault what has been the last 4 or 5 visits. Looking forward to eating and drinking with you again !

2nd visit this week, and enjoyed both. We had not been to the Manor for over a year, and having had friends comments about the improvements made, we decided to give it a try. The food was excellent on both occasions, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. On the first visitor server was Danielle, and she was efficient, attentive and friendly. A credit to your restaurant. The second visit our server was Marie, and again we could not praise her enough. We always believe that the staff made a venue and you should be proud of yours. Every future success.

Booked for 4pm but was seated early, drinks were bought straight away, food was not long after and was hot, really tasty and great. Really happy with the experience, didnt feel rushed either

So nothing much has changed. The service was OK from the young man and our lime and sodas had lots of lime so full marks for that but the burger was well over done so as to be burnt at the edges and the cauliflower with bbq coating was just short of cremated, the chunky chips to with the cauliflower and fish were greasy and overcooked, fat tempreture to high?, Now I wanted to complain but the wife said to leave it as we had a 30% discount but not in a hurry to go back. So ok for drinks and service but still need to improve on the food.

Excellent service as usual from all of the staff! You're pleasantly greeted on arrival and they waste no time in getting you to your table, but it doesn't feel rushed, just well organised! Food as always was gorgeous, we always come back for a reason! Top service, top food, top staff!

We eat quite often at The Manor Inn at Glen Parva and Pete & Lori are great hosts. The staff are very welcoming and Always go the extra mile, the restaurant is clean, fresh and tidy. The food is cooked to our liking and we consider ourselves as regulars to this great venue. A special thanks to Jack who was very professional in his job.

Very busy when we arrived but got a table without booking. Food did take a while to arrive but very nice when it did. The staff were pleasant and courteous but seemed rushed off their feet. Will definitely use this restaurant again.

Lovely old pub serving good quality pub style meals. Smallish bar area which feels cosy rather than crowded.Excellent friendly service . Good choice of lagers and beers . Pub was busy but still served food quickly. We had 3 meals and were all tasty and piping hot . Would definitely recommend

How They Laid Out In The Extension Part Of The Glen Parva "Manor", Because It Catered For Everyone Needs - The Children's Was Just Door Steps Away From The Kid's Playground Area - Regarding - The Food:- I Felt With My Hunter's Chicken I Wanted Mash,I Would Of Liked Veg With My Food, Being A Former NHS Nurse,We Strife Healthy Options In Food Instead Of Chips All The Time - It Was Nicely Laid Out And The Blonde Lady - Who Took Charge - Made Sure The Orders Came Out In Order The Meals Were Processed - (Because There Were Children In The Party - You Would Of Thought,The Kids Meal's Would Of Come Out 1st, Because Of The Waiting Time - And Can Be Lengthy - So Children Could Of Enjoyed Their Meals And Come Back Later For Any Sweet Deserts After The Adults Had Finished
