Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and food, live music was superb, most people singing and dancing, will make regular visits when ever in Felixstowe

First time of going to food here with friends and pleasantly surprised! Wholesome food at very reasonable prices. The place is huge with many different areas to relax, catch up with friends or casual dine. Such a lovely end to our weekend in Felixstowe.

People in the pub was absolutely fantastic apart from one lady which was bar staff very rude 🙄 (lady with limp) need to go on a coustmer service course

Been to this pub 3 times now when visiting Felixstowe, the staff here are amazing and so friendly, we go there because it's so dog friendly but the food is outstanding as well, lovely beer garden, best pub in Felixstowe without a doubt.

Great food, great atmosphere. The bar staff were friendly and the service was good. We had a great night out and enjoyed the live music too. Definitely recommend!

My family came down for the weekend and I decided to walk in to the Grovy and see if I could chance a table. I hadn't booked. It was extremely busy and when I asked for a table for 8, the reply was not a problem, we can sort this.....we are busy but there is a table coming free soon......as my sister and entourage where still getting ready, they did say would my partner and I like a seat, we said nah it's ok.....the table became free and they all turned up. Everyone ordered drinks and their food and it all came out hot. Even my nephews (who are rather fussy) wolfed it down.......drinks a plenty and fun was had.......the manager and staff are friendly and approachable......we will definitely keep coming back.....thanks for a great time. Sitting here right now, having had a most delicious meal. Mr & my daughter had steaks & my grandsons have complicated allergies to which the staff & chef gave their utmost attention. The general atmosphere is absolutely lovely. Will certainly revisit & recommend!

Came in to watch the Ipswich game, pub was busy but was a very good atmosphere. Staff were all very friendly and all worked really hard under the pressure so hats of to the team. Food and service was great. Looking forward to a return visit on Saturday. Come on Ipswich and team Grosvenor! Keep it up!!

Had a lovely meal at this pub of beef ale pie and mash,peas and Brockley. Good service from the waitress and bar staff. And nothing was to much Trouble as we had a wheelchair for a Disabled person aswell.

I have had many great experiences at Grosvenor both for a meal with family and a social drink. The staff are always pleasant and friendly and it is always lovely for them to interact with my children when we have eaten there. As a family, we all enjoyed our food. It is nice to have different areas to go to enjoy a drink depending on what is happening. There is always something they are doing to raise money for charity. A lovely family pub looking out for the community.

Went here with family members and it looks lovely inside, we were told that tables were reserved but we could have a table and that it was needed by a certain time. The drinks took a very long time to arrive and there was no apology for the wait considering 5 drinks took around 30 minutes to get to our table, the food took a long time to arrive but I understand it was quite busy at this point, when the food arrived, it was nice and enjoyable but felt quite rushed as a member of our group was still eating and we were being asked if we were all finished and our table was being cleared during this. A few of us ordered desserts and coffee, the dessert came out quite quickly but we had no coffee, after 10 minutes of waiting after eating dessert, we were told that it was busy when asking when the coffee was going to be ready (no apology), overall, we waited around 30-40 minutes for coffee, we were then told they needed the table and I said we were waiting for coffees, only to then be told that they didn't have any and we couldn't be refunded that day because we used the app, as we were leaving we were told that we suddenly could be refunded in cash and that was then sorted. The male server then apologised and mentioned how it was very busy. I don't think I would go back here because it all felt very rushed and if it wasn't for the very long waits for everything, we would have been gone long before the table was needed.

Me and four of my friends had a banging time great food / beer, service very good friendly and helpful. Spent several hours at the table did not feel rushed very relaxing. Will go again. Nothing to much for landlord Dan and his team.

When we arrived we were shown to a reserved table and advised that they would need the table back at a certain time , absolutely fine , we orderded food and waited almost 45mins again fine , but to then feel rushed by the male server really didnt go down well at all , such a shame to be honest but will learn from this , maybe look at advising the food wait to allow time slot allocated

Sunday lunch today was excellent, the staff without exception were friendly and helpful. From the moment we walked into the bar we were looked after so well and made to feel very welcome. The food was great and the children even received Easter eggs. Will definitely be back

Huge thanks to Toni for accommodating my family if 19 adults, 2 children and 1 dog on Easter Sunday with only 2 days notice. Excellent dinner and service. Will definately go back!

The only boozer close to the High St in Felixstowe. Good selection of food and drink. One of those places where it does what it says on the tin.

A well priced seniors menu is attractive and the food is pleasant for the price. The problem is the speed of service. Despite booking in advance, they had no record of the booking and on two occasions, having ordered desserts the food did not arrive and we had to remind staff of our order. Eventually we walked out as the wait became too long. Little apology from the staff. I understand that they may be understaffed but a simple apology for the delay surely wouldn't be too hard.

Proper pub with a great friendly atmosphere! Huge range of beers and a very relaxed, welcoming feel. The Perfect local!

Nice catch up with a friend for dinner..I had a standard burger with sides of onion rings.. one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Salted skin on fries and crispy onion rings were perfect!! Definitely recommended 👌🏻

Able to get a table on a busy Saturday evening with zero problems despite not booking, service and food were perfect. Staff incredibly attentive and kind. Absolutely will be returning.

We spend most Sundays at the Grosvenor for our roast meal! Food excellent, service can be a bit slow but the food is most enjoyable!

The Grosvenor family are at the heart of our community Dan and his team work so incredibly hard to cater for the whole community. The food is reality good value, and cooked fresh, there are so many different events every week, the staff are the friendliest in Suffolk, an all round brilliant pub x

Have been a few times now most recently on Saturday which was very busy and all staff where very friendly making a lovely atmosphere. The food is always really nice and doesn't take too long to be served, I leave with happy full children every time which is definitely a big plus

This pub is brilliant. Great team particularly Dan and Lucy Grover. The pub supports upcoming and established performers and is a great community hub with meet up Mondays. Food is affordable and tasty. I feel comfortable to visit solo which is fabulous.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Service was very good and staff were attentive. The food was really good and there wasn’t too much of a wait. Cheap parking opposite the pub

this pub is ideal for a drink and meal with friends first class service good value food and the manager DAN keeps a a very pub and stands no nonsense we always feel at home no rowdiness etc. We also really enjoy the Sunday lunches there. We would like the chicken masala our favourite to be reintroduced.

Went here with our extended family for lunch, there were 9 of us in total and we all enjoyed two courses. Food and service were excellent, everything was served promptly and was good quality. Staff were great and even though they were extremely busy they took time to smile as they served drinks and food. Highly recommended for a family get together.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who was on duty on Christmas Day. Our family of 7 had an amazing time and all the meals came out hot, tasty and cooked to perfection. Shout out to the chef's !! The whole experience really made our Christmas and everyone was so courteous and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely waitresses and all staff who had given up their family Christmas time. It was so nice to be able to spend the time with family this year rather than stuck in the kitchen for most of the day!! We all loved it and we will 100% be booking for next year. Thanks again Dan and your amazing team. Five star's all round. Absolute perfection. :))

Just had a lovely Christmas lunch at this great pub. From the greeting we received at the door to the end of our meal, everything was lovely. The food was well presented, fresh and hot. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff did a great job and had a smile on their faces. It was our first time here for Christmas lunch and would definitely book again for next year

Been in London since June, always have a pint and a meal here with my partner when we stay in our holiday home well worth the walk summer or winter, so friendly and great food and deals, different from the robbers in London. Looking forward to visiting when we are back in felixstowe next week.

Walk in to a lovely warm welcome. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Main meals tremendous. I had Beef and ale pie and my wife had Gammon. The food was plentiful and well presented. Real value for money.so good we went back next day for a Sunday lunch. Beef was tender and the Turkey likewise. A variety of veg nicely cooked. Couldn't eat all of the food. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

Had a lovely Christmas meal with work colleagues there were 18 of us food was hot and table looked great with Christmas crackers, staff were friendly.

Had a lovely seniors 3 course meal and bottle of wine with my sister. Well yummy and the apple and blackberry tart with crumble topping and clotted cream ice cream was the icing on the cake 😊.

Great place, arrived without a booking and it was very busy. However, the helpful and very friendly lady found us a table and even found time to mention that live music was on later. All the staff were amazing and we moved into the other room and had a great evening. We will be back, many thanks.

Popped in on off chance for lunch , very obliging staff ,sorted table in quiet corner as had 2 dogs with us . Husband had roast dinner 10/10 I am GF dinner arrived with batterd onion rings , enquired if GF before starting meal ,oops mistake not GF very apologetic issue sorted . Mistakes happen . Holidaying in the area ,would return ,understand your allergies.

A friendly welcome and able to choose our table . A really varied menu so we made our choices which were served quickly, ample portions, all at a good temperature. Tasty food in a very comfortable environment . Highly recommend this venue.

Was down from Bolton for a couple of days. Stumbled across this pub on a walk. Spent all afternoon having a drink and chatting with other holiday makers. Good atmosphere and the staff were very accommodating as we also had our Whippet with us. Went back in the evening for food as we were meeting up with family who live in Felixstowe. Once again, the food and service was very good.

We went for a day trip to Felixstowe and asked a local recommendations for a good local pub with food and he recommended the Grosvenor, we were welcomed with a very friendly barman and we decided to have a drink and food we had the small plates sharers, the guy who served us the food was very polite and friendly food was nice quick service we would definitely recommend this pub and definitely use it again when we are in the area thanks guys 👍

We love this pub! When we walk our dogs, we usually end up here for a break and a beer. Food is always OK. We usually go for the small plates combo. Nice service, thank you.
