This place is a long term favourite with a wide choices of dishes, good wine and excellent service. It is a good place to hold business meetings as the double height ceiling keeps the level of conversations low. The food is good and the staff, friendly, helpful and competent. It is excellent value for money.

It’s London , I’m not happy but I understand that you charge £28 for a roast beef dinner . But to charge an extra £3 for less than 100ml when I asked for a little extra gravy was an absolute rip off . I also think that adding 13.5 % as a service charge is ridiculously high . I paid for both but won’t be returning.

Disappointed in food, small portions and the muffins for the eggs benedict were hard to cut. No garnishing on the plates. Where have the table clothes gone? Was expecting better from PJ's although been a while since we've eaten there. Won't rush back.

We have been going for years to PJs for brunches for eggs Benedict etc which are pretty good and never disappointing. Therefore today we decided to try the Sunday roast experience for the very first time and in all honesty it was a proper disaster! The beef was NOT what you would expect from a Sunday Roast beef..... it was paper thin, far overcooked hence chewy and the roast potatoes were far from what proper roast potatoes should look and taste like....on top of that the chocolate fondant that is usually a MUST, was served luke warm and without ice cream because of an issue with the freezer....all in all a very poor experience

This is the best bar in Chelsea So friendly & welcoming My go to venue even if on my own to sit at the bar . Everyone talks to you both clients & bar staff . 🥰

I enjoyed having dinner at PJ's; however, when I made the booking, I mentioned that it was my husband's birthday, and we were there to celebrate. I was expecting the restaurant to do some type of surprise.

My girlfriend and I had a lovely Valentine's Date here. Initially we were seated upstairs, a little out of the way. Our waiter was very helpful and seated us by the mezzanine, overlooking the bar, as soon as we asked if we might be able to move. My tuna tartare was wonderful and the chateaubriand steak was also good. The food was good value for its quality. The champagne in particular impressed us, very nice for £15 a glass. It's a great-looking restaurant and was busy but not overcrowded.

Service and ambience very nice but the quality of food has decreased a lot. Cottage pie had too much fat in the meat I had to leave half of the plate..other things were not very tasty either..

I’ve been going to PJs for 15+ years and love it. The last time I went (a few weeks ago) with friends was nearly perfect. However this time, it had a different vibe. The coffee machine was really loud (was it always that loud?), the music was really loud and the crowd seemed much younger. Perhaps attracted by the discounted bottomless brunch. My girlfriend did in fact order the bottomless brunch but thought the mimosa was very diluted, was there any Prosecco? Was the orange juice mostly water? She also had an Aperol Spritz but thought it was also quite diluted. Is this intended to prevent the customers getting too drunk or a way to increase margin? The full English breakfast was delicious as usual but this time we had the poached eggs which were room temperature, not hot, so I assume they had not been made to order. Next time I’ll go back to fried. But I will be back. Thanks for the opportunity to give feedback.

The service was very slow. We waited very long to have our plates. Then we waited 45mn for the dessert which never came, so we canceled it and left without it.

This is nice place, and we like going here at the weekend for brunch. Sometimes the service is a bit slow, as it was yesterday. I would recommend it. Nothing spectacular, but reliable.

On arrival we gave our booking name to one of the bar staff but was left stood there waiting while they checked the computer. Then another woman came over to us and addressed us by the wrong name, had to check again and find correct name. We were a little early & still waiting for two more to join us. All the while we were made to feel welcomed and not rushed. The staff were attentive Food was delicious. The tea cup given to me was dirty buy the staff promptly apologised and changed this. Chilled cosy atmosphere, we had a lovely time

When you go for a place looking for great environment, unique attention, delicious food and mostly feel like home… guys come to PJ… I promise Giuseppe and Vincenccio and their staff will make you feel extremely well and will take care on every single detail.. so you have a complete and unforgettable experience. I chose PJ’S to celebrate my birthday on Saturday night, it was a great choice, I had the Carpaccio to start and then the Steak, it was my birthday! Both dishes were great and I had the best Fondant in Chelsea for dessert. Giuseppe and his team made my birthday so nice, got me a Cake and were so warm and welcoming, it was a great evening, Thank you.

Love this place and dine regularly when visiting the Royal Marsden Hospital. Always have Eggs Benedict. However yesterday egg whites were runny and very undercooked. Asked for a glass of tap water and then charged £4.50 for a bottle of still water which was not tap water so the waiter did not listen properly. I will revisit and hope for a better experience next time!

Delightful ambiance to spend New Year’s Day! Great food and very relaxed and fun stall. But just be careful as the prices are high for a brasserie and you may feel a bit surprised.

We spent New Years Eve at Pjs, for their special New Years Eve menu. The food was lovely , I had mushroom and tarragon risotto and it was delicious. The staff were delightful and attentive and we had a fantastic time

PJ’s used to be a London landmark — not the case anymore. Food way below average (never had such an over cooked burger or a salad with half of the ingredients missing), 45’ wait to get our food…. Oh well - there are other great options in London

From the moment we got to the bar we were ignored. Had to ask for the wine menu, we were early but happy to sit at the bar. Once we were seated we were completely forgotten about our server was more concerned with his phone & his regular clients … he was shocked when we hadn’t got menus….. he had not given them to us! It just got worse & worse. The food was mediocre at best, we had the Christmas dinner , having seen the write ups , it did not match expectations. As much as I love my vegetables being al dente, the Brussels sprouts were raw. I gave up on dessert & coffee after watching the service received by the regulars next to us it seemed to make it worse as all the staff were engaging & attentive… we could have become regulars, this will definitely not be the case.

Great ambiance and the food and drinks were nice. The toilets were quite disgusting and didn’t match up with the rest of the experience, that is the only negative.

For a Chelsea brasserie the prices for brunch seemed reasonable. However portions were small and we had to send one dish back as way over cooked. Although a nice environment, we won’t return.

The chorizo and scrambled eggs are just delicious. The shepherds pie was disappointing...very small portion and rather watery. The fish and chips are always very good. The apple crumble was perfect.

PJs was generally okay, we were a party of 6 for a client lunch in which we had a table in the corner of the room, squished up against the wall and made it very difficult for the people by the wall to get in and out of. We asked for a different table but they were fully booked and quickly dismissed making an efforts to make it more comfortable. It took a long time to order drinks or any food. We had ordered some bread whilst we waited and a mini loaf had been delivered to us, half cut which meant we then had to finish cutting it which proved to be very difficult and a bit of an unnecessary faff. We had asked for another loaf of bread and for it to be cut fully this time, but were told it was "their style" and couldn't cut it fully... We had to get up and ask for everything, to order food, to order drinks, to order desserts, to put the heating on as it was freezing. I know the Christmas period is busy but the service was not attentive. The food was fine but I wouldn't recommend or go back.

Very busy and noisy so unable to chat. My medium fillet steak £35 was probably frozen and arrived cooked on outside but red & cold in the middle not bloody and rare. Béarnaise sauce £3 was about 3 teaspoons. A bottle of water and red wine £75 per head . Having said that the staff were excellent they gave me another steak and we had a fun evening we just won’t be going back.

We booked our Christmas lunch on Tuesday 5th Dec. On the whole we had a lovely time. I wouldn't have said the restaurant was overly busy. We did notice that we had to wait for our wine. I did notice staff standing about not doing anything. They could have intermittently checked if we were OK. Despite that we had a lovely time and the best thing was we weren't rushed off our table when we had finished our meal.

I’ve always been a big fan of PJs but on this visit it really felt like they’d raised the bar even higher. From the minute we arrived to when we left and all the way through, the service was excellent, staff were friendly, attentive and efficient, the menu has wonderful options and the food was beautifully served and absolutely delicious. The cocktails - as always - were terrific. Overall, a fantastic and memorable experience. Only let down by the loos which need some maintenance and repair.

What a great evening!! Food was delicious and the service was second to none. The wine wasn’t to my taste so the general manager insisted we change it as he wanted us to enjoy everything about our evening. Then very embarrassingly the zip on my skirt broke and they quickly came with safety pins to secure it. Then they gave us espresso martini’s! A really great evening and looking forward to going back! Thanks again to the great staff and fab general manager!!

Fantastic Dinner, the warm light, beautiful wood and Panelling made PJ's so warm and relaxing on what was a very cold evening outside. We were made to feel very welcome.

The venue was great and good atmosphere service, staff were good it was just unfortunate when our food arrived it was only luke warm but was dealt with by the manager swiftly with no fuss which was appreciated..

Excellent, I tried the Roast Cod from the additional Christmas Menu and it was great. You can pick & choose between the Christmas Menu & the Main Menu which is very good.

A lovely Saturday night at PJ's in Chelsea, the restaurant looked wonderful and warm on a cold evening, we were met with a warm welcome as usual. The nine cylinder rotary aircraft engine over the bar and the rotating propeller are timeless features here inspired by PJ's founder Brian Stein RIP. GM Giuseppe Genuardi went specially to the kitchen to supervise my Chocolate Fondant a favourite which was perfect as usual.

I have had the great fortune to be able to come to this lovely restaurant from the mid 90's and have some great memories. The Restaurant is spectacular, you are greated by the beautiful carved wood bar, and lovely warm lighting. PJ's is a warm and friendly place in Chelsea, where you can see familiar faces but all are made very welcome by the friendly staff. The current menu is excellent and one of the best in 30 years, the Cottage Pie is great, but there are so many good options, I would love to see the Cod & Mash from years ago back. GM Giuseppe Genuardi has done a fantastic job with the Menu choice and choosing wonderful staff.

PJ's is a very pleasant place to eat and very accessible for public transport. We had lunch. Very nice food and a good place to chat. Recommend the hamburger!

We had a loely evening and tried the new menu. but we ended up staying with the tried and tested hamberger which is great. Next time I go I will try something fifferent like the lobster or risotto. Staff are fantastic and it is a happy place.

Great steaks, cooked to perfection 'tho sad to see there is no longer even a tiny green garnish on the plate! Portions definitely seem smaller, and the chocolate fondant dessert was noticeably browner than should have been - but was still more than edible. Cocktails as great as ever, as was the service! It was nice but very very hot in the resturant. Food and service was spot on.

Last week poor...the lamb cutlets were tiny , with a poor smattering of veg and no potatoes. This week I stuck to the delicious monkfish curry which has always been outstanding. My pal's fish and chips were excellent too.

Just as we remembered, good simple food and good service. Not exceptional but we will return

The food is good and the decor is nice but I’m not sure about the service. It’s very snooty and I’m not sure they’re trying to do much to help. We had a young baby and the sun was shining directly onto our table creating a bit of a greenhouse effect. The restaurant was empty and we asked to move. They said the other tables were reserved (even though our table would become free for the same number of people)-they insisted that people had requested these specific tables and we couldn’t move. They were also very snarky about ‘what can we do about sun’ We ate and paid and left and all the tables were still empty. Left a sour taste in my mouth and I wouldn’t return.

We had a lovely time at PJs last night, trying the new dishes out on the new menu. We also sampled a dessert special Pitaschio Tiramisu which was very delicious.

PJ’s is somewhere we’ve passed many times while walking around the local area and thought it looked great. It’s obviously popular with locals. We booked brunch there for a casual family birthday get-together. The service was fine but not particularly warm or welcoming. Three of us ordered Shakshouka and the fourth ordered eggs royale. We waited well over 30 minutes for our dishes after ordering and when they came, although perfectly tasty, the eggs on every dish were very over-cooked. We probably wouldn’t bother returning to this venue.

We ordered a sharing platter to start but they forgot and the mains came out first and the sharing platter took an hour to arrive. We then think the veal sat under a warmer until it was bought back out to us again as it was dry. The food was not worth the money.
