Food is terrible..but spirits like beer etc was good

Terrible experience, the staff was rude, very poor performance at the bar despite fact the place was pretty empty during Monday evening eyewitness several guys being ignored and left.

Very few people, screening of several matches displayed on their site and only one match broadcast without sound🥴

I came here for my first drink when I landed in London. Henry was attentive & made the most delicious drinks. He was very helpful and made the whole experience so much more enjoyable.

Great food, very good beer, and Henry who works behind the bar is one of the friendliest, most helpful hospitality workers you could wish for. The pub was full, but he was exuberant, welcoming and very helpful.

The guy behind the bar, Henry, was great. He let us sit at the bar and really helped us. Fantastic.

The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The drinks were expertly crafted, the ambiance was inviting, and the service was impeccable. Excellent experience on Sunday family lunch. We hadn't booked but were able to get seated within minutes. We received lots of good advice, information on beers and ate an excellent Sunday roast (large portions both for us and for the children's menu).

Very noisy, slow service and they give you drinks in plastic cups even when you're drinking inside 1hr before closing.

Excellent neighborhood pub with good food and cold drinks. They take cash or card. Sandwiches were good, salad was irrelevant. Nice place to kill some time.

Excellent place to eat and enjoy a good English beer, I recommend "OLD SPECKLED HEN", the attention cannot be overstated.

Poor service by staff except for one bright young lad, who was very kind and attentive. Two lady staff members were mostly busy chatting amongst themselves and even talking behind the young lad's back in another language. They were pretty rude. Food wise, it's just average pub food with higher prices due to its location. Would not return.

Absolutely astounding service. Friendly and brilliant service. Captures the pub atmosphere perfectly couldn't ask for more out of these guys. Laura the barstaff if there was a 6th star for reviews I would give it to her for her service and lovely banter.

Great pub, great location and GREAT staff especially Laura, goes above and beyond. I would love to recommend they get overhead cover for outside as there is not shade to stand when the London weather hits. And maybe some cigarette disposers. Other than that it’s a great pub to come make your local.

Visited with some American friends who wanted to try traditional meals such as fish & chips and pie & chips. Food was typical pub style fair and was appreciated by our friends. Good value for money compared to other places we visited that weekend.

Went in the pub food and drink before going on to the royal Albert hall for a concert. Had a burger meal which which was great. The wife had a chicken burger meal, which was also great.

What a great pub. Booked a table for food, and the two guys behind the bar went above and beyond to accommodate us, helping us with my daughters dietary needs. The food was hot, tasty and we couldn't have asked for better. It was a great pub for location, as we were attending an event at The Royal Albert Hall, just a 10 minutes walk away. We'll be back for sure.

Came before a gig at Hyde park. Watched the football. The two ladies behind the bar - I don’t know their names but the lady with the fila trainers and the lady with the clip up in her hair - both did the most incredible job! The food was great and whilst it took a while to clear our plates, this was because they were so busy serving customers. I cannot fault them - absolutely outstanding job! The pub was packed for the football but they always had a smile on their face!

Went to TV his long time favourite pub this evening. OMG what a disappointment, dirty, too few staff (who were grumpy), blinds to keep the light out so you can see the TV. S***hole - fire manager

Service was abysmal. There’s only a couple people ordering and they completely butchered our order. Night ruined. Food was cold and mediocre.

Chicken Katsu burger was very good and balanced in terms of ingredients and the halloumi fries were also great. We had amazing service from Jack and did not wait long for drinks and food.

Good vibes but the food was very underwhelming with absolutely no effort put in preparing even a simple sandwich. Definitely recommend to order nothing more than peanuts and crisps.

This is a favourite of mine, the food is lovely and great choice of drinks. It's a friendly atmosphere good for families but also if you just fancy a couple of drinks with friends. Alina does an amazing job running the place and always has a welcoming smile. :)

As expected, maybe because it was a tourist destination or because it was London, the beer was a bit expensive, but the atmosphere was good, and there were a lot of people when I went to watch the FA Cup finals. There are spaces where you can watch TV. Various types of beer.

Staff are lovely, but pub badly needs an upgrade of interior. Tired wallpaper, sticky tables and uncomfortable seating. A bit like Cadogan Arms before it had its huge renovation 6 years ago

Lovely pub with amazing staff! Laura, in particular, was really helpful - helping us find a table and recommending food for us. We shared a selection of the small plates - they were great, and perfect sharer options for friends out for drinks and nibbles. The food was a little slow coming out, and some bits were a little cold, but we put that down to ordering quite a few different dishes, and it didn’t spoil the experience overall. We did witness an uncomfortable incident where a very unhappy customer was complaining in quite an aggressive and intimidating way, but Laura kept her calm and handled it amazingly well. It was hard to watch, so must’ve been awful to be on the receiving end of that kind of complaint - management should be proud of their staff!!

This is such a great pub! I highly recommend. The bar tenders are so friendly and make the experience fun! Jack makes a fantastic aperol spritz and has good recommendations on beer pints. We will definitely return while we are here visiting London!
