Myself and some friends visited Stafford for an afternoon pub crawl. We chose to visit The Greyhound Inn amongst others and were glad we did. There was a very good selection of cask ales on and all the ones we tried were in great condition and so it appears they are being well kept. We had a few games of darts and some snacks whilst we enjoyed our ales and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Couldn't be bothered to cook so went out for a quick evening meal, we had food from the specials at £3.95 each. Good value for money, quick service, would recommend if you are feeling a little bit lazy and want good food at decent price.

Went to Stafford on a CAMRA real ale trip. The Greyhound inn was recommended for its variety of real ale. When we walked into the pub, the few locals there stopped talking and looked at us as if we shouldn't be there!! I tried to get drinks but the bar person couldn't drag herself away from leaning on the bar. When I was served was charged £8.80 for two drinks, so we sipped them very slowly and left. A shame as it was a nice pub with some good ales, won't go back.

We were on a bit of a session. Until we drove past on our way into town I didn't even realise that this pub existed. It feels a bit like a cross between a locals traditional pub and an up market club and it was really welcoming and warm on a horrible rainy night - we were even offered bar mats to dry our heads!! The décor was eclectic, the welcome was friendly, the range of beers was good and the environment was very cosy/ Recommend a visit

I wanted to do something special for my parent's and so I organised an afternoon tea for them. Well I couldn't have asked for anything better and they were looked after tremendously, with fabulous food, atmosphere and 1st class customer service. Beautiful sandwiches, savouries, cakes, scones and plenty of tea and they thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Highly recommended for anybody wanting to be pampered.

Visited as a anniversary present for my Mrs as she is cat mad. The concept is something I've seen in usually bigger cities around the UK so was really nice to see one local. Lovely staff , made us feel very welcomed , cats looks healthy and happy. The surroundings were clean and staff were attentive to empty dishes etc. Coffee was nice and so was the Milkshake we had. The £10 per person pre booking fee may seem steep however when you realize you get a drink included with that and the remaining £5 goes towards looking after the cats then it's completely understandable. I love supporting small businesses, it's how we make sure mega corporations don't take over so with that in mind if you're after a nice authentic experience where you can pet some nice cats then id highly recommend these lovely people and their cafe.

Andrew bakes the Staffordshire Oatcakes for sale at the cafe and offers a variety of plentiful fillings to ensure a tasty all day treat to eat at the cafe or to take away. Great staff service, freshly ground coffees and local cakes all at a very reasonable price. Well worth a visit.

Met friends in Stone for lunch and went to Little Seeds. I've been before but this was probably the best meal I've had there yet. I had the set menu - £40 for three courses, bread and chef's treats was great value - and chose a red wine, Amorone, as it was a cold day outdoors. Honestly, it was so good I asked if we could meet the chef, and out came Jake who is a lovely man, I learned from meeting him. I shall definitely be back.
