Have Greggs changed quality of mince used ? I usually have a savoury mince pie as a treat. Today was very disappointing 3 fatty lumps and 5 hard bits size of a tooth ( bone ? ) DEFIANTLY NOT A TREAT TODAY Poor show Greggs!

In my opinion the sausage rolls sold in Greggs are without a shadow of a doubt the best in the United Kingdom, whenever I see a Greggs outlet I inadvertently pop in a buy a pack ,on a recent trip to Newcastle my twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around Byker and decided to drop into this outlet there,we purchased a 4 pack of sausage rolls at £3 a pack,great value for money, we munched these just outside the Greggs ,totally delicious, just what we needed to set us up for a few hours ,the Greggs outlet itself is superb, neat and tidy interior, a glass fronted serving bar showcases the goodies on offer and the staff in this outlet are so friendly, all in all we had a great visit here ,its easy to locate along Sheilds Road, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

So slow it's pretty unreal, the drive through takes an age as does going in. Seems more concerned with chatting to each other behind the counter.

Carlton Hotel, 82-86 Osborne RdThe food was nice and quite well presented although the seating area was a bit tired. Great for us as we were a group of friends on a weekend away, maybe not too good for a couple though!

85-93 Grainger Street, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 5JF EnglandWe tried the chilli burgers from the menu (technically my new favourite burger now after trying once 😂) we got vanilla milkshakes which sadly were like warm milk, I asked the lad why the milkshakes looked like that, he apologised (it was warm so milkshakes weren't coming out properly) he gave us a refund and said to keep milkshakes (I did have a sip but they went in bin as were gross) We got a fillit of fish for midnight, he only had a bite but had diarrhea by the time we got home 😱 quite expensive considering we got it without a bun for him, was same price as 2 double chilli burgers 🤨. We used our refund to get mc flurrys, Darren had smarties and I got the apple cake one (Darren liked his, mine was amazing!) I like unusual tasting things and thought was delicious 😋. I could've gave them a worse rating, but the staff were kind, the chilli burgers were delicious as was the ice cream.

Percy StreetFood was awful, the chicken burger was dry and the kebab meat tasted cheap and was greasy, the decor looked like it hadn't been updated (or cleaned) since the 80s! Only glimmer of hope was that the service was okay! I will be avoiding this place at all costs, I only went there because I had a drink, won't make that mistake again!
