Greggs on North road in Durham is one in a chain of UK bakeries that offer a superb range of savouries and pastries. Located in a great area of Durham where there are many interesting bars and pubs and fast food outlets'this Greggs was very busy when we went here and after we had stood in a queue for a short time we had a superb cheese and onion bake. The cheese and onion bake we purchased was excellent and well priced.Greggs is an excellent chain of bakerie's and well worth visiting especially if you want a well priced snack and this one is easy to find from the Market Place bus stop its a short walk.(This is my first review of Greggs). Opening Hours. Monday-Saturday-07.00-17.00. Sunday-08.00-16.00. Nearest Bus Stop. Market Place bus stop.

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around this part of town when we decided to drop into this Greggs outlet for a quick bite to eat. Typical Greggs interior, light and airy, exposed brickwork, neat and tidy, a glass fronted serving bar showcases the goodies on offer and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this Greggs . We were here on a Friday early afternoon, we stood in a queue and when served we both went for a chicken bake, these were served steaming hot, they were so tasty and quite filling, just what we needed and great value for money. This Greggs outlet is easy to locate on North Road. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 7am till 5pm. Sunday, 8am till 4pm. Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

We’re not vegans, merely vegetarians! However it was a lovely surprise to stumble across this stall whilst on a walk around Durham. Whilst not hungry at the time, we bought some pastries and a scotch
