Greggs in Basingstoke and Deane

Only Greggs out of the three in Basingstoke to have a piping hot sassauge and bean melt. Not a single thing I could possible complain about. Flaky and delightful only regret is not buying another

DISGUSTED - ASKED FOR SAUSAGE ROLLS NONE AVAILABLE .ASKED FOR STEAK SLICE WHICH WAS GIVEN SLIGHTLY WARM AND A CHICKEN SLICE AND PAID MONEY. CHICKEN SLICE WAS TOTALLY COLD .WHEN COMPLINED WAS TOLD THEY ALL COME LIKE THAT !!! HAVE I GOT IDIOT WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD ?? ASKED THEM TO HEAT IT UP MANAGER REFUSED AND WAS RUDE .WE GOT MY MONEY BACK AND WENT TO A DECENT BAKERY NEXT DOOR .WE WILL NEVER GO TO GREGGS AGAIN !!!

I went for breakfast with my friends before starting work, we got our food and sat down. One of the ladies working very rudely told us to take our feet of the seats (I know we shouldn't of but we were tired and it was early). If she had of asked nicely I would have no problem but she had no customer service skills. She then told her other coworker to 'watch us' when we had done nothing wrong.

I had to go to the bank to deposit a cheque and upon arrival they told there was no one equipped to do such things today and that I'd have to go back Monday. I was annoyed so I stopped at Gregg's on the way back to the car park. I ordered a chicken bake and the inside was stone cold with ice chips. I was too upset to complain as everyone and their brother was there without a mask.

i been having normal sausage roll before and yesterday i tried a vegan roll and omg it was like eating a normal sausage roll with less fat and oil.keep it up staff are friednly

From Greggs u can find great potatoes (very hot & good that costs only a pound), I love their potatoes & Sandwiches, I reccomend to try.

Have recently discovered Greggs. I’m not a sausage roll person so I can’t comment on those, but we have discovered it does a nice cup of tea and a cake or something savoury for a really good price. Service is always with a smile and we tend to always avoid the queue. Not the best for gluten and dairy free, but my daughter knows exactly where the popcorn is and she also likes the dried fruit they sell by the counter. Much cheaper than an overpriced coffee around the corner.

Scrupulously clean shop and eating area. Friendly staff. Good range of food at very affordable prices.

Popped in for a little snack as many people do. Went to the toilet and was greeted with the rancid smell of stale urine and a bowl that was splattered with faeces. It doesn't look as if these toilets have ever been cleaned as the taps were going mouldy and every surface had a thick layer of dust. I was afraid to touch anything. By all means go for food but don't go near those toilets!

I always go into the hot sausage rolls however the hot food was cold and it's just not the same. Little disappointing

There always seems to be people in here what ever the time of day. I walk past it most days going to the gym or in to the shopping centre. Thought I would give it a try as I was on my own and had gone to long since breakfast. Service was a bit slow which may have been the cause for the queue. There was not a lot of choice really so I went for a hot sausage roll, um hot description was right and yes it was a roll but I think using the word sausage was a stretch more like light minced sausage with lots of hot air. Cost was low so maybe I was expecting too much for my money. On the positive side I had bought a box of 4 iced fruit buns to have with friends later in the day at home and thy were really nice and tasty. Guess this is all down to choice but no more sausage rolls fro me not worth the guilt factor after working so hard in the gym.

A quick cheese and bacon wrap and a cup of coffee - delicious. Always worth a visit, fast food and at a good price.

I am always popping in to Greggs. They coffee is lovely and not too expensive. The service is excellent and always served with a smile. Love it!

The pastys can be hit and miss. Sometimes hot and sometimes very cool. The service is quick and the quality is consistent

What can I say ham & cheese toastie yum just go in and try, you will not be disappointed a perfect midday snack

I know it's greggs and it's "just pies" but what great pies they are and I love the staff in this branch - they are smiley and efficient and sweet Thank you Greggs!!

Although the jam doughnut was a little dry and possibly not totally fresh the effect of this was hidden by the abundance of jam in the middle. For 40p you can't really argue with the value. Also has a good loyalty scheme and polite and well-trained (if unsmiling) staff, I would return. Perhaps the price of the canned drinks could be lower. The strawberry water was very nice, although not cold.

We went to Basingstoke shopping on Saturday and fancied a snack. So we went into Greggs and bought two sausage rolls. They were very good, very good and will have them again.

I often visit this shop when shopping in town there sausage rolls are really nice and hot and filling also there coffees are really nice

Popped In for a sausage roll and there were no sausage rolls! They were in the oven and some way off being ready. Not sure how I survived the day, it was a struggle! Also to add insult to injury I got an orange juice and it was room temperature. They could do with either putting less drinks in or turning the temp lower. Had a slice of pizza tasted like greasy cardboard! Sad day all round really. :(

Always jolly and helpful staff. Good coffee and pastries. Now have the app so I just wave and pay. Love it. Particularly recommend the bread pudding: just like grandma used to make.
