Attentive staff and good value for food

Place is grubby most of the time. Services vary and depend on who you get at the till. Worst thing was quite a lot of times you see people bringing their takeaway from Wasabi next door and just took advantage of the seats in Greggs without buying anything here. All you need is to be shameless.

I’ve had a few instances a few times I’ve been in there one time I was looking in the fridge and a lady was trying to put away sandwiches. She gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes. I apologised I was in her way. I don’t know why she was pulling faces at me!!!!! When she walked away behind my back I caught her! What the heck The food is average and coffee is average not always hot Also Ill, I was on the way back from the hospital my husbands blood pressure was low after a bad burn I asked could he get a drink she said she would ask the manager with some Sugar and they said no and they barely even wanted to give me a drink of water for him she had a attitude Over the years I have spent a lot of money in Greggs but I know it was the service and a lot of Greggs is going quite bad and food is never hot Pret went over to and they were more helpful And understanding after My Husband have been to hospital and not well at least our food is better quality and hot coffee. I know you might pay a little bit more for it, but it’s way better.…. Instead of getting a sausage roll that’s been there since 6 am Seem miserable in there never are much of a smile on their face I won’t be going back anymore I thought Canary Wharf Greggs would be better Run by rude staff….

Generally guaranteed to get a nice cup of tea at a reasonable price, together with a sausage roll and cake.

Went over today and was greeted by one of the shop assistants who kindly told me I could a free drink downloading the app. It was greatly appreciated and he made my day.

Worst Greggs ever. Pastries are ALWAYS cold for some reason. Hot section is ok.

Extremely unhappy with my order it took over an hour and my food come cold extremely oily and the pepperoni on the pizza was all down one end and there was hardly any cheese on it

I had visited Greggs with my family, including some elders, and it was appalling by the way we were treated. As we were trying to eat dinner there it had been nearly closing time as we had gotten our food late which is understandable as we had gotten told beforehand that it will take time to prepare the food but no staff told us beforehand if we should sit and eat somewhere else as it was nearly time to close, the staff blaming it on us and being extremely disrespectful especially one of the staff named Rajvee who said “i don’t care just leave” and many other unprofessional communication because they were closing was absolutely disgusting. We asked for just a few minutes to finish up, but they continued to push us out without any courtesy.The lack of kindness Rajvee and the rest of the staff had was disgraceful.It was a frustrating experience, and I feel that alot of kindness and understanding would have gone a long way.They need understanding of how to communicate and treat their customers.

we came in today it was around 10 of us around 8:15 and ordered straight away everything was fine but because there was lots of us it took time to bring out the food we got it around 8:50 and she said to us that we will have to leave soon as they close at 9 5 mins before 9 she came again saying we have to leave but we said that you said we can stay till 9 and then one of the employees Rajvee started getting rude and very disrespectful for no reason to the elders with us i’m so disappointed with the way she spoke to us she said “she doesn’t care” and “get out” to the elders which was very hurtful

Wrong order, did not receive cheese and onion bake or omelette baguette. Instead got sausage roll and steak bakes which I had to throw in the bin due to it not being halal. Was not given a phone call prior to discuss options, disappointed

For some reason there was cows milk in my Americano so it was undrinkable.

Hi there I ordered a six piece deal and only 4 came I missed out on two cheese onion pasties

Terrible , I reported this ages ago , the Greggs workers also reported the driver for not even showing up and picking up my order , I’ve called , reported and nothing .

Driver was lost for 15 mins vegan sausage rolls put in box with pork sausage rolls so they couldn’t be eaten due to contamination by time driver arrived food was cold

Food was poor. Ash browns stuck to paper and the sausage roll was not fresh at all. Cant see who's buying just dump old stuff. Staff need to realize the customer is paying over the price for the online service.

A good place to grab a quick bite. Lots of seating. The vegan sausage had more salt than necessary. Also noticed this at the other Greggs at Canary Wharf station. Someone should look into this!

Very clean and the staffs were so nice

The worst coffee and service I ever had in a coffee shop. I wanted to use my reward to get a flat white and the cashier looked visibly offended that that’s all I was getting. The flat white tasted horrible, I think something is wrong with the machine because it tasted burnt. The shop floor was filthy and the chairs look gross. The only positive thing was the chicken bake.

The latte (which was the reason for making an order) was so sickly sweet I couldn’t drink it, I always have the same coffees from Greggs so I know how it’s “supposed “ to taste. Sadly because of this my future orders will be from a different store. Oh also the hash browns were inedible-they were cold & dry. The omelet nap & sausage was ok. My overall score is a minus sorry.

People working there need more training . I ordered a few things and the lady with hijab working there clearly saw that I won’t be able to carry all of them still stood there without asking if I needed a bag . So when I asked her for a bag she just literally put it on top of the counter . It was quiet as well . At least she could’ve put my items in the bag . Honestly how do they even get hired ? She just passed me the bag and walked away . Horrible customer service

Tuna fish in baguette was dry and couldn't see of taste any mayonnaise and the pepperoni pizza was very overdone.

Super calm Saturday morning. The lady serving me look like I killed her puppy. As she made the cappuccino, she put the lid on while talking to her colleagues. She didn't close it properly , I spilled the coffee on me. She didn't apologize and just ignored me for the rest of my stay. Her coleague tried to help me by wetting the serviettes for me, but when taking them to the bin, she dropped some of them on cakes. The cake was still on display when I was leaving. Too many events for Saturday morning with wet shorts as a bonus. Mistake happens but the sad lady could have some manners.

I never received the the bacon and omelet baguette, didn't get the extra sausage in the other baguette, in fact there was one missing (so 2 down) and to top it off, the pink jammie doughnut had no jam in it. So very disappointed overall.

Sausage rolls and coffee cold and coffee leaked everywhere. I ordered hot sausage rolls at £1.60 each if I wanted cold I would of ordered a four pack which would of worked out much cheaper

For the third time of ordering from this Greggs there were items missing! The box of assorted filled donuts was not in the order at all

Total lack of hygiene by Shakra today and the awful manners when talking to a customer. After today will never buy anything from Greggs again.

Food quality was poor, not value for money.

It ok on the move. They require to change from from Palm oil to something healthy such as rapeseed oil. Otherwise it ok.

Coffee was stone cold, so was my bake. Had to warm them both up on arrival. Chicken strips were very dry and not fresh. Packaged well and was sent napkins and sauces sugars etc which I was grateful for.

I don’t know what it is but there is sometimes a really bad smell coming from food & drinks. Not sure if it’s the packaging? It really is off putting and puts me off ordering from Greggs. Only recently this smell is bad. Other occasions never had this with previous orders.

I did not receive the box of 2 donuts and when I contacted Greggs direct I was told there was nothing they could do and I had to contact for a refund! This has been ordered for a team meeting so embarassingly had no donuts to give them. Totally disgusted with the customer service from Greggs

Only received part of order and when contacted they advised just to contact just eat for refund. However this meant I had no goodies for a meeting they had been ordered for. Poor customer service with unhelpful staff

Great! Dropped a star due to quality of meat in sausage rolls being a lot lower then i remember. 20% pork. Nothing but gristley bits. Pastry was yum though. Also, weren't crisps a free addition to the classic meal deal? Why is it now saying i have to pay extra for them? Kmt!

No1… The cappuccino was cold also the sausage roll did not come with deal. The ham and mature cheddar cheese toasty was done too much to the point of being burnt. And come with not much filling. The strawberries cream refresher 2x was mostly filled with ice.

Food portion size was terrible!

Poor service by Greggs store in a Canary Wharf. They have three times messed up my order. Sent wrong food or have sent no food at all, and caused unnecessary inconvenience to the customer to go back and forth for the food, or refund and or deducted refund. Even in Uber eats. Unfortunately due to poor services and inconvenient customer support this store is Not recommended ! Food is good, so it would be better to check another greggs store.

This is so far the worst Greggs when it comes to Customer Service. As someone who works in Canary Wharf, i visit Greggs once every couple of weeks. Whether you are doing a click and collect or just visiting this branch, there's always issues, if not, you'll always have to deal with rude employees. However, my interaction with the cashier when i visited for lunch today really put me off from going back to this specific location. She was rude, dismissive, impolite and possibly one of the worst customer service interactions i ever had in London. She also wanted me to buy a drink, so it would turn into a meal deal? And she was so unhappy when i politely declined. You cannot force people to buy stuff.. and tbh i ended up spending more without the meal deal.. so very confused about her whole reaction and demeanor. Also when i asked for a bag, as i had bought 3 items and 2 dips, very rudely and unnecessarily literally slammed one on the counter and proceed to stare at me with the most judgemental look while i packed my food.. they seriously need to retrain their staff and fire whoever does not want to work there..

The greggs in Canary Wharf is quite busy but you will manage to grab seat. A few things that made me not enjoy my experience in this branch. There was a queue upon arrive which is not the problem but the manager had recognised a regular customer, opened a new till and severed him and gave him a fresh bake despite everyone waiting before him. The place is dirty majority of the time … At quieter times a staff member walks around the seating area but doesn’t sweep or clean the tables. I’ve seen majority of the customers clean up the tables just to sit down. I had ordered a pepperoni pizza, wedges, cheese and onion bake and a can of coke. They had one pepperoni pizza left on display and I told the cashier I’ll pay now but collect the ones that are due to come out of the oven. Aswell as many people were complaining that the food was cold and asked if they can get a fresh one. As I was walking to my seat I took the pizza out and felt the pizza and it felt cold which was odd as I did ask and waited for the fresh one. I went back and told the lady that it’s cold and I had asked for a fresh one. I could not believe my eyes when she took the pizza I gave her and placed it back on display and the cheese and onion bake was cold. I think the HOT selection is great, wedges were hot and tasty and tends to be popular.

Great service food was hot and delicious

I spent £8.25 on 3 spicy veg pizza, £4.75 on two vegetable bake and £3.20 on 2 large still water. however I only received with my order, 1 pizza, 1 bake and 1 water. Why did I receive only these when my full order price was £14+. I paid full for my items and only received in shortage? why? can you make sure I get a refund for the items I paid for that you didn't package for delivery?

Jane served me and a few of my co-workers today. She was extremely rude and wasn’t allowing us to purchase the meal deal like we have done every other day this week. She even called ‘next’ whilst I was still standing there trying to pay but she wanted to overcharge me by £3 (the meal deal is only £4.75)

Awful, I asked for 2x chicken bakes and 2x steak bakes. Firstly got 2 x pizza slices which I had to correct the staff member. I then repeated myself two more times. I got home to find I got 4 x bean bakes, which are disgusting and a waste of money. Please train your staff.

the delivery guy was excellent. he was given the wrong address ( my fault) and although it's only a 30 seconds distance he came to the correct address with a smile and kind word. Will gladly leave him a tip

Items missing from what I paid and the coffee was almost empty

Forgot redbull annoying when you paid £2.10 for one and they don’t send it.

Firstly, there were no updates on the app. As many times I was checking it was showing that the order is preparing. When the driver arrived, there were no any updates on the app and the driver didn't call/message saying that is close. The food was left with someone else. By the time I got a notification the food was cold and there were missing items. Not sure who's fault is that. However, it is the second time when I order from greggs and both of them I'm very disappointed in the service.

Food is always lovely but this is the 3rd time ( for Greggs) and 20th time (for Just Eat) that food I've paid for is missing!

Sausage rolls and pasty was cold

First order was incomplete so had to pay another £12 to get my mains… when they finally arrived there was a hair baked into the sausage roll. Have been throwing up for the past 5 mins. Do not order from here.

Ordered food for work. I even put a note to say to call me as there is various departments but my food was left and just got notification to say its been recieved. Also ordered a cheese and honey mustard toastie got a ham and cheese toastie.

Greggs is a gem, even in Canary Wharf, you can get some good food at good prices.
