Don’t eat here they are running a scam to steal tourists personal information. When I approached them to refund my credit card the server asked for personal information saying that only here line supervisor can make the refund and she does not work on weekends and requires it to make the refund. I’ve reported them to the credit card company.

Ambiente divertido y relajado, buenos cócteles, carne de gran calidad perfectamente cocinada y con una buena relación calidad-precio. . . . ¿entonces qué pasó? ? Solía hacerlo regularmente con amigos y colegas. Desafortunadamente, en nuestra última visita tuvimos una sorpresa muy desagradable. Las raciones eran más pequeñas, el bistec no era de buena calidad y el precio se había disparado. Muy decepcionante.

Went to moo for a few drinks on Friday as we were enticed by the cocktail deal advertised outside. As we waited to be seated, the waitress approached saying we could come in for drinks but we would have to show her our ID’s...fine we are all late 20’s/30 but got the feeling she was dissuading us from coming in from the get go as once we were seated and she eventually came over to take our order she didn’t ask any of us for ID. I politely asked her if she could remind me which cocktails are in the deal, I’m not sure if it was a language barrier but she told us there wasn’t a drinks deal, so I brought the outside advert to her attention she sighed then rushed through which cocktails were on the £6 deal and when we clearly needed her to repeat she was awkward and hesitant to do so, though she did eventually. As per the previous post, maybe she was having a bad day but i was shocked at her level of service or lack of and couldn’t believe it when she looked surprised we didn’t want to pay the service. Moo - this waitress who is the first person your customers greet is seriously letting you down, because the cocktails were great. I never leave a review but couldn’t help it this time.

Went there last night. Had a great night. Food and service was spot on. Owner came over and had a chat about Argentina. Really nice chap. Our waitress was lovely. Thanks for a great night.

Having been to Moo previously and as I was passing me and the girlfriend fancied a cocktail as they were advertised for £6 a go on the front window, why not! Went in and told the waitress we were only drinking and she said it was OK. We sat down and looked at the cocktail menu. Menu wasn't clear what cocktails were £6 each so I went up to ask. Guy behind the bar just said the classics were included so fair enough. Went back to my table, looked at the menu but none were classified as classics so a bit confused went back up to the bar to ask and was intercepted by the waitress. Don't know if she was having a bad day but she was really quite rude and abrupt in advising me that it was actually a restaurant and thus table service and that I should go and sit down and wait to be served. (maybe don't advertise £6 cocktails on the window if your that restaurant orientated and also dont have a bar there if its just a restaurant). Went to sit down (didn't want to get told off again) and chatted with my girlfriend and told her I thought the waitress was pretty spiky. Now looked over to see the waitress serving the table next to us, caught her eye and got a look of a face like thunder lol (if you're gonna be that stressy maybe look for a new vocation away from hospitality?) anyway when she came over she took our order of 2 porn star martinis. 5 minutes later, the drinks turned up and I have to say that taste of the drinks were definitely as sour as the waitresses attitude. Not a very good balance of taste at all. Much better places to spend your money on brick lane. Thank moo very much!

I had a tiny portion for £11.50 - was nice enough but maybe for £4. Not £11.50 nice. And there was a 12.5% service charge, which was awkward and I felt obliged to pay and suck up :(. Service wasn’t great either - was too slow and took forever. Didn’t enjoy my experience.

Ate there on the first night of our London weekend, mainly due to convenience to the Premier Inn Hub. Nothing wrong with the food, or beer or service, but nothing special about it either. Maybe I had the wrong thing (Beef Ribs).....but unlikely to be back to find out. On the pricey side.

The food arrived and all plates had very small portion sizes given the price. The extra bacon we paid for consisted of two thin slices and the poached eggs were overdone. Even the novelty of charcoal-coloured bread wasn’t enough to satisfy us. Give this one a miss.

Went here for lunch and had the steak which was very well cooked, tender and juicy. Staff friendly and attentive.

We have visited the Moo bar on numerous occasions and had a lovely time. However on our last visit we left with a bitter taste in our mouths due to the happy hour scam. We ordered spirits during the happy hour however when we got our bill I did not realise that we had been charged full price. Obviously this was due to the fact that when we actually asked for the bill happy hour was over but we had the drinks in happy hour. So Moo bar we used to spend over £100 a visit but now will be taking our custom elsewhere.

Visited here for some drinks in the evening. We popped in as the signs outside said it was happy “hour” until close on selected cocktails. It was small and cosy inside, we were given normal menus and happy hour menus by one server. We quickly chose drinks from the happy hour menu and waited for them to be brought over. The drinks were small but nice, we enjoyed a few. However, when we went to pay our bill was more than expected. We’d been charged full price for everything, despite the signs saying that it was happy hour until close, and being given specia happy hour menus. We questioned this but the waitress told us we were too late. Just a shame!

I was there last week with some friends, food was amazingly cooked and you can feel the freshness of the ingredients, the meat is like butter and the empanadas are simply amazing. Real shame is the service: on the floor you can feel they are inexperienced and that would fine but it really felt uncomfortable when at check out we were charged for things never ordered plus the drinks were charged at full price even though it was happy hour time, and also outside was advertised a 20% discount on steaks never received, Marcos very young and inexperienced was surprised when asked about the promotion like never heard about it. Next time will order trough Deliveroo.

If you find yourself near Whitechapel, eat meat, like attentive excellent service, great chips, excellent cooking, and good wines, then this is the place! If you like Espresso Martinis (or have never had one) best one on the planet will be a bonus.

We are here today and we were served by Marcus. The food is so wonderful, and his service was 5 stars. This place is the best for authentic steaks and a great place to learn about and try Argentinian food and wines. They will make sure to recommend the best things for you to try.

We had lunch here, the staff are very attentive and very friendly. The food was great and had we had the time I would of loved to have stayed and make the most of the offers they had in cocktails, this place has a great vibe and I would definitely recommend a visit.

Been there last month, the meat was excellent not much about the quality but the perfection of the cooking method: my eulogie goes to the Italian chef that got our steaks perfectly cooked even though all different!empanadas as well were very good only the outside is clearly not home made but the inside 10 out of 10.

Great ambiance, spectacular service and off the charts good food & drink. One of my favorite places to eat when I get to visit London.

We stopped here for dinner to enjoy the steak and chimichurri sauce. The mojitos and empenadas stole the show. The beef and pork ribs were excellent.

One of the few restaurants in Brick Lane battling with the ubiquitous curry houses, it's not quite clear from the quirky decoration whether Moo Cantina is a café or a more substantial eatery. Due to the hour and my pescatarian preferences we stuck to brunch type dishes - eggs royale and empanadas - with some spinach and a salad alongside. Nothing wrong with any of the dishes, nor with the prices, but nothing remarkable about them either. Estrella on tap is reasonably priced for London, but the macchiato coffee was disappointing.

Visited Moo on a Friday night after going to Junkyard Golf. We didn't get there until 10pm so wasn't sure if they'd still be serving however a lovely waitress told us we had a bit of time until the kitchen closed. I had a white wine which was really nice and the Moo burger which was also delicious. Great food and friendly staff!

He estado aquí varias veces, y la calidad de la carne tiene nada menos que en comparación con otros restaurante argentino más famoso. No tan pijo como los otros (¿a quién le importa. . . ? La carne), es muy buena: si quieres comer y no les importa el "espectáculo" que esos otros restaurantes ofrecen, este es el lugar correcto, y estás en una zona muy turística. . . . Vine aquí con amigos de Italia y Croacia, todos contentos. El servicio es bueno, la camarera muy amable y barman, incluso los domingos cuando está ocupado por el mercado, buen espresso (soy italiano), el precio es razonable, teniendo en cuenta la zona. Carta de vinos: vinimos aquí algunas veces, vinos son buenas, pero sin duda podrían mejorar la carta de vinos: es un restaurante de carne al final del día. Lo recomiendo, yo trabajo cerca, vengo aquí con amigos y clientes, también para una cerveza o una copa de Malbec.

Fuimos dos veces en una semana. Nuestro favorito es el "Potro", típico sándwich argentino, pero la segunda vez que fuimos no estaba en la carta, sin embargo Carmen, quien nos atendió las dos veces que fuimos, hizo que lo cocinaran igual para nosotros. La comida y bebida tienen precios accesibles y la atención es espectacular.

Bartender so good, also food and dessert, music is sometime not my style but the worst is toilet .. always have a tissue in the flush and water pump not strong at all. Please improve.

Great cocktails and value for money, the ambiance was just right we had to ask the bartender for their playlist and if you're not sure what to order do yourself a favour and have the nachos. We'll be back!

We didn't try the restaurant, we only came here for a drink after dinner. It was 22', we ordered two delicious martinis pornstar and paid the happy hour price so it was awesome. By the way: nice music, nice staff and nice pillows!

I visited with work colleagues for a belated Christmas lunch.

We celebrated my Sons birthday and had a lovely evening. We all arrived later than our table time but there was no pressure from the staff and they were very helpful and accommodating. The food was well received by everyone and good value for money. Would highly recommend anyone to try this restaurant. Great atmosphere and if you are lucky you get a dance show by the young ladies in the flat opposite!!!

Valentine’s Day dinner! Great service. Empanadas were delish; tried the chicken and the beef. Our steaks we’re done perfectly, as we’re the fries. Service was attentive and not hovering. Prices were phenomenal.

We visited last night and the place was hopping. The food was delicious and the atmosphere great. The price was reasonable.

Our server didn’t know what Opentable was. The Opentable offer was wrongly described so we had to make do. The empanadas were [still] frozen and the atmosphere was sort of like a youth hostel common room. We were offered some more of those empanadas on the house. Apart from that the steak was ok for the price although surprisingly undercooked for a medium rare in a place like this. Pay double for Hawksmoor or similar or a cheap gem you know of... or don’t bother.

We visited at the weekend as a party of 9. We couldn’t fault the service or the food. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Great atmosphere for family get together s or out with friends. Would certainly go back again. A big thank you to all the staff.

i was the first customer to enter moo cantina at noon on a saturday the music was very loud and the service was still preping for the start of the day, but the food was satisfying... i ate the burrito de polo and i was amazed how well pesto and guacamole go together... fries included and all for 9 pounds is almost a bargain...

Went here for a quick cocktail on our way to our hotel in Brick Lane (see separate review). Very good choice of cocktails and beers, all at a good price.We didn’t stay for dinner but the food menu looked good so we will definitely go back to have a meal.Even though it was only 6 o’clock the place was buzzing and everyone seemed to be having a good time.A cool place to go and chill and have a cocktail or two

the food was ok but not great, the nachos were great and the steak also but the rest was not very good. we ordered the sharing platter as a starter and we were not impressed with the chorizo or the black pudding. The service was ok but they were short staffed, we waited quite a while for our food and for top ups for our drinks.

Bought a Wowcher for my partner and myself for a 2 course steak meal and a bottle of house wine. Warmly greeted and seated, was told what the offer was and we placed our order of beef empanadas and steak with peppercorn sauce each along with a bottle of red. The service was friendly, professional and fast, the starters were delicious, could have quite happily had more and the steak was cooked to perfection. The house wine was rather nice too. All in all, a very pleasant meal and the restaurant had a really nice feel about it.

We hired the top floor for a charity event and Marius and his team went out of their way to make the day a success. The food was delicious, but the best thing was undoubtedly the smiling and friendly service. It's not often that staff go the extra mile, so full marks to Moo Cantina. .. our Brick Lane visits are synonymous with a stop at Moo Cantina.So much is changing in the character of that street that it was a relief to enjoy a couple of glasses at Malbec and appreciate Moo Cantina's continued existence with the staff as friendly, welcoming but non-intrusive as before.

Bought a Wowcher for a 2 course meal and bottle of wine. Wasn’t expecting too much to be honest but was very mistaken. We was welcomed in by a very friendly waitress, Alessia who is very happy in her job and full of energy. We had the beef and spinach empanadas which we shared both were delicious! Then the 8oz vacio steak which was cooked to perfection washed down with a nice bottle of wine. All the staff were lovely. After our meal we wanted a cocktail and asked if we could move to a table downstairs, nothing was too much trouble and the waiter found us a lovely table. I had a porn star martini and my sister had the frozen margarita both delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant really good food and excellent staff.

Visited with a friend at around 6 in the evening. A nice selection of songs were playing, however it was a bit too loud for my taste and I struggled to hear my friend. Food was wonderful, I had the moo burger and chips and my friend had the chicken burrito which was also tasty. HOWEVER, what let this restaurant down hugely was the service. Our waitress was very innattentive, we waited about 15 minutes before our order was taken. She was mostly standing around chatting with colleagues, eating on the job and at one point even went outside to smoke a cigarette with friends when she was supposed to be taking our dessert order. We had to approach the barman for our bill as the waitress was no where to be found. In the end we left without dessert because it was taking so long. I would recommend Moo Cantina for the food, but work is needed on the service here as it’s one of the worst I’ve experienced.

El jueves pasado 21 de Septiembre 2017 fuí a cenar con mis amigos a este restuarante y la conclusión final fue: cuando volvamos a londres, repetimos. La comida está bastante buena, sobretodo teniendo en cuenta los restaurantes asequibles economicamente que hay en Londres....nosotros nos pedimos 5 empanadas de jamon dulce y queso, espinacas, pollo y de carne. Estaban super buenas y muy rellenas, te quedas cn ganas de comerte 4 más xd. Luego de segundo nos pedimos vacío de 220gr con patatas. El trozo era un poco pequeño pero por primera vez en mucho tiempo, cuando le digo al camarero que quiero la carne hecha...me la trae perfectamente hecha. Era un trozo gordito y estaba crujiente por fuera y tierno por dentro. De postre brownie con helado de vainilla...estupendo la verdad. La única pega fue la cuenta. En todos los restaurantes que habíamos ido nos cobraban o el VAT o el service charge que creo q es de un 10% o un 12%. Pues en este, nos cobraron las 2 cosas...por lo q la cuenta nos subió 35£ más de los que teníanos planeado. Pero se nos pasó rápido porque hay muy buen ambiente, musica guai, el personal muy divertido (sobretodo la chica que hay que la puedes ir viendo cm baila al ritmo de la música). Menos mal que ese dia decidimos cenar pronto porque a las 9 o 9.30 ya estaba a tope. Resumen final: repetiremos!!

Visited with a friend and went here as a change from the curry houses that we have eaten in countless times. Had the 3 course set dinner and it was excellent value. Easy cheese pastry starter and a succulent sirloin with fries and salad followed by a chocolate brownie. Will go again. Good service although we did wait a while for the chocolate brownie. Very shoer walk from The Pride of Spitalfields which has a wonderful selection of ales and an interesting history.

Fantastic little gem of a restaurant in Brick Lane. Often so hard to find somewhere in London where the staff actually seem like they want to be there and serving you! Great food, excellent service and really lovey 'local' feel.

The food was delicious but the most important ingredient was the Argentinian friendliness and environment. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in London.

Only came here to get a drink and get out of the rain, it is really nice and relaxed the interior is lovely, I got a cocktail which was around £8, other people's food smelled and looked amazing, the staff were nice and friendly.

I have to say that it is a good experience overall however what I think that can be improved are the starters; we had some nachos - it was not the best and also empanadas chicken, they were defrost surely ... it gave me the idea of having to deal with fast food instead of restaurant.The steaks were great but the salad din't look very fresh.Cocktails again I think they would need to improve them, not the best.The staff courtesy is very good, the location not the best, the ambiance nice although the music was not Argentinian at all and perhaps more suitable for disco than restaurant.

Called in as I was staying at The Hub a couple of doors down. Nice place with friendly attentive staff. I had the Ham and Cheese Empondilla and an 8oz Steak and both were delicious. I very much like a good steak but am so often disappointed but not here. I'll certainly be trying to come again. Also, the little dip/dressing which the food came with was absolutely awesome, I wish I knew what it was. Thanks to all the staff for a great meal.

Had booked a table for 9.30pm on a Saturday night. After being seated we waited 25 mins and nobody had come to get even our drink order so I had to go ask if we could order. Someone came straight away and took our food and drink order. We then waited another 10 minutes for our drinks and a further 35 minutes for our food. The food was tasty and we all enjoyed our food. We also had desserts which again took an age. But they were worth it. An enjoyable evening with fab Gin! But service needs improving!!

I had really high expectations of Moo Cantina, early on a Friday evening we almost had the place to ourselves, very trendy and ethnic. There were more staff than customers at this time and they were friendly but so inattentive, we'd have stayed longer and drank more if only we could have got service! I'm told that the steak sandwich was good but my Argentinian steak burger was overcooked and dry.

My wife and I ate dinner and late-night snacks here on June 4, 2017, my birthday. We spent the day taking tours and visiting museums (Beatles, Sherlock Holmes, Jack the Ripper) so this was a terrific place to rest and re-energize. While waiting for our Jack the Ripper tour to start we took a walk on Brick Lane and found this gem. Look for the painting of Diego Maradona on the front window. We ate & drank here before and after our tour. Our empanadas, sharing platter, mojitos, raspberry whispers, coffee, and panqueques were awesome. Our servers, Chiarita, Anna, and Marius were superb. This was our first but not last visit to the UK. During our next visit we will eat & drink here again.

Absolutely love Moo Cantina, I try to go as often as possible to both the Middlesex St and Brick Lane venues. The steaks are amazing, such great quality especially for the price. Staff are all lovely, very friendly and helpful and always make you feel so welcome. I'd highly recommend it and have introduced many friends to the place so far and they've always been impressed.

Informal bar/restaurant with a great latin vibe. Smallish menu but food was excellent. The calamari to start was melt in the mouth and my husbands very reasonably priced steak was excellent. As a vegetarian the options were limited but the grilled aubergine was delightful and the sweet potato fries were the best I have tasted. I think it's safe to say we had a lovely meal and very enjoyable evening.

We booked a table at the last minute as wanted somewhere local to where we were staying in Brick Lane and we wanted steak, this came up as a recommendation. We weren't disappointed, we ordered the mixed meat grill for two and it was lovely and plentiful. We would definitely recommend to friends and will go back again.

On Brick Lane but don't fancy curry? - Look no further than Moo. Steaks of several varieties and sizes available. We both chose medium-sized Sirloin, which was tasty and cooked almost to order (ordered rare and served somewhere between rare and medium).Good service, nice drinks and a genuine bohemian atmosphere. Guest WiFi faulty, but given password to private WiFi. A tad expensive, but this is trendy London.

The meal didn't start well. We had booked a table, but the walk-ins in front of us were given the best table in the house and we were waved around to choose any of those left. We both ate the tenderloin steak, which had a large strip of fat down the middle, which is the first time I have ever seen tenderloin served this way. The chips were bog standard fries which were over salted, and the sauces too similar (we had peppercorn and blue cheese). Overall the food was far from terrible, just very bog standard and not really worth the money. If you want to go out for good steak avoid Moo Cantina. (Update, my partner has since been again and told the waiter we were local, who then ensured he got a better tenderloin and gave him a discount. In my view however tenderloin ought to mean tenderloin to every customer).

Have been twice so far, with friends and family, and will visit again. Conveniently on brick lane with a spacious room filled with tables, can get very busy very quickly.Cocktail and drinks list is extensive and varied, highlight a very tasty pisco sour, but the food is where it's at. The shared platter is a nice option for two or even a nice big ribeye steak. Nicest chimichurri sauce I've had in a long time, good with all the dishes! Service was real friendly and sound, albeit a bit slow.Can't wait to go back!
