Worst costumer experience ever, rude staff, won’t come back.

Very rude. Gave me the wrong order and laughed at me. Refused to give me what I paid for. What a joke

Delivered wrong item - received one caesar roll instead of 2 breakfast egg and bacon, please compensate asap

The delivery person called and said he was in the parking lot. I explained the area where he was in wasn’t my flats. He proceeded to ignore me. I saw him from the window and he just waved back and decided to chill in the car park. It took me 10 minutes to get to him, he made me take the food from his bag and even complained i took long to get to where he was. Horrible and I hope he gets disciplined for this.

My food was not delivered, this is marks a number of time your delivery drivers do not do their jobs. I am still waiting for a refund from the last failed delivery.

Sweedish meatball wrap was ROCK solid, so much so that i cut my gums trying to eat it. Genuinely shocked that they get away with serving that to people. Very disappointing!

Not enough staff for a Saturday afternoon! This was my worst ever experience in a Prêt. The food was great - just as good as usual. But there were only two workers on. Only one serving and making drinks and one downstairs in the kitchen. Unbelievable! This is such a busy area! Near Brick Lane and all the vintage shops. So many tourists here. It’s super busy. Come on Pret, don’t let your colleagues struggle like this. It’s not right.

Missing item panaraisin so disappointed

I have been there many times and I must say their coffe is not the best. Normally flat white should have a foam brought to around 70 degrees i think, one shot of coffe,2 part of warm milk and the one finger of foam on top. I am afraid to say that any of the times I have been there the coffe was not strong enough,probably was old,the milk was not at the right temperature , the foam was probably a left over of someone else order and the proportion coffe/milk/foam was not right. The result was a tasteless,weak coffe not worth of any Pret standard. I do hope you will take this critic in a constructive way and you will try to improve the quality of the product you are selling. Thanks

If you love faulty towers and have nowhere to be you might like this pret, unfortunately I do not. A personal highlight for me was when asked what drink had just been made and slammed down on the table with no comment the staff member proceeded to open the the coffee, smell it deeply and closely and declare ‘maybe latte?’ You WILL wait longer than reasonable for your coffee, but if you dare to ask how much longer you’re likely to wait you WILL be aggressively told ‘it’s obviously coming.’

Unwilling to serve coffee half an hour before official closing time...

Just received a terrible Deliveroo order from this branch. The banana I ordered was brown, the apple was soft and way past it, the cheese toastie was only a tiny bit toasted and only on one side, and the berry pastry I ordered arrived as a cheese twist.. the only thing there wasn't an issue with was my drink, unfortunately. Not great.

I’ve never been to a pret with such moody staff. It’s strange because the service is consistently rubbish here. Everyone seems angry and doesn’t care. I had a subscription but have cancelled it because this is my closest pret - and I can say this place is the worst pret experience I’ve had. It just seems the only one with miserable staff.

Pret isnt what it used to be, coffee isnt the same since subscription started. The staff especially in this Pret are rude and make you feel like theyre doing you a favour. Especially on weekends.

I came in today to buy an oat latte and I got served by the most beautiful woman today she was a hijabi with glasses her service was an absolute 10/10 she went above and beyond!!. Is there any chance I can get her number? :) highly recommend this pret store but stay away from this barista she’s mine!!!!

oh Tatiana Oh Tatiana know shes pregnant but still need to do he job and dont let custumers see her frustration ... i work in hospitality i inow how hard its to serve guest specially when is not on your day 1 dont blame the persons do the coffee for your mistakes 2 know how to handle ur mistakes 3 we givin coffee or any other items to guests dont throw it in the pass 4 dont push guests when u going to pick up food from the fridges i saw ur exprecion dint like it remember Tatiana its just a job it have a starting time abd a finishing time mean wile you work i think you should improve your job alot custumer service is essencial in hospitality

I'm not impressed that I've ordered food twice today first breakfast and now lunch and again I have missing items. What is going on with people not being able to read orders

I just feel like these people genuinely don’t want to work here. Everytime I go it’s like I’m begging them for a drink not paying 😂 and there’s a young man and lady that keeps play fighting with each other behind the counter. I hope they get together.

Out of all the preta i go too in the city, this one has to be the worst, the staff dont even acknowledge your presence, i literrally have to talk over the staff to get serviced, 4 of them and none would even come to till to serve because they are too busy talking among them

My friend told me that he was not allowed to use the toilet because he didn't buy anything at the shop. However, a few people in front of him in the queue didn't buy anything either. Why was he specifically targeted? I am very disappointed with the shop.

Two of my friends purchased items from the shop, and they were allowed to use the toilet. However, when I attempted to use the toilet, I was prevented by a female worker wearing a black scarf. She said the toilet was only for the customers. What makes my angry is that there were five people in front of me who weren’t customers either. They were directly on the queue at different time and were not stopped by the staff. So is the female worker a discriminator?? She only asked me to leave.

Snotty white lady with tattoos and redish/brown hair gave me terrible customer service, at first she completely ignored me to talk to a colleague, and then, without even looking at me, took and scanned my items. She never asked what I wanted until she had already told me the price 😂 . Also she handed me a paper cup after I ordered an Ice Latte, and didn't inform me that they ran out of ice cups, so when I pointed out I wanted an Ice Latte she acted as if I was an idiot and stated ''It IS an Ice latte''. How am I supposed to know you ran out of Ice cups? I can't see through a cardboard cup. I do not have X-ray vision. Terrible customer service, give this woman a week off or something

Horrible customer service!!😔I went in the Sunday morning with my wife to eat-in. I grab 02 sandwiches, 01 sausage roll and 02 cokes 500ml. When I was at the check out I asked for 2 cups with ice because the coke wasn’t chilled enough. They denied to give the 2 cups of ice even i if I was buying all that stuff. Ridiculous. The counter was full of cups of ice waiting for others drinks. Anyway.. I gave up on my breakfast at Pret A Manger and went to COSTA CAFÉ wich has a good customer service and still have ice for all customers😉

Someone need to teach this black guy how to froth the milk every week when I get my latte made by this black guy my coffee has no foam literally feeling like drinking white coffee all the time, this has to change I don’t want to offend anybody but they need to be taught. Thank you

Worst staff ever! after regularly paying for the drink, we asked to be able to go to the bathroom and we were told that they don't have toilets. After which they made go to the bathroom a regular customer, who was greeted with sympathy. So we complained and headed to the bathroom together with the customer, the bathroom was there but they don't want to clean it so they say it's for staff only. At the first hint of a problem the girl at the counter started whining accusing us of yelling at her which she then did along with the rest of the staff. One even made the gesture of physically attacking us and was held back by the others.

Orrible staff.After taking something to drink,we asked if we could use the toilet.they reply us that there wasn't a toilet.While we were still in the cafè we saw a staff friend going towards the toilet.we follow her but they continue to reply us that there is no toilet.After we saw it and the staff friend using it,they told us that it was a staff toilet. There is no indication that it is a staff toilet.Moreover when I have attempted to say that it is against the law to do not have the toilet a man,I don't understand if he was part of the staff or not, screamed against me very violently

Stopped by here on Friday (28/07) for a simple cappuccino at 16:00. Younger caucasian female that took my order was not particularly friendly, but to top it off, she incorrectly made my cappuccino while in a rush. Did not add any cocoa dusting on top (this is how cappuccinos are served at Pret). Extremely poor service

Never had ice, even on rainy day , shows how badly managed it is. Prêt, don’t ask me to go fill in another form to give this feedback. That’s your role to check feedback here and capture it for continuous improvement. Not to just say thanks BUT go fill in another form for us (?!!)

Sent wrong cookie which I didn't order. When you're paying nearly £4 for one cookie they could at least get it right. How hard is it?

The chilli soup hardly contain any chicken considering the price and the portion size. The soup was very acidic. Had to drink plenty of water to settle my stomach. The meat ball wrap was ok-ish.

I wish I could upload pictures because this macaroni cheese is burnt dry and stale so hard you can’t chew through it. Terrible I would not have sent out something this burnt and hard. And especially as it’s almost £8 and it’s inedible. If they are happy to send food out that is this bad they obviously don’t care for delivery customers. Absolutely disgusting.

Toilets consistently “out of order”. So consistently that now staff tells “we don’t have toilets”.

Had the worst experience at this site with a member of staff. I needed to use the toilet prior my purchases, I asked the lady behind the counter if I could use the toilet and she made it very clear that the facilities were for customers only and in a very rude and cold manner. I said I need to use it before I purchase my food. I have a bladder weakness and I cannot hold my pee for long and this lady made feel very embarrassed by her reply. How can prett employ someone like this is beyond me. I use prett all the time but after this experience today I might stop getting my coffee from any other pretts.

I went on a Sunday and I must admit they have amazing staff, they are very chatty and sweet to customers. Yummy, flavoursome food & coffee is very creamy!!

This shop is fantastic top to bottom . It is much better than the shop down the road with much better customer service and much better coffee. Would recommend going to this shop as people are much more welcoming. Would recommend the Falafel & Halloumi wrap really tasty and fresh

horrible customer service, terrible organisation, they are even rude sometimes, just annoying, when the coffee shop is full with just to baristas one making coffee while the other is in the till, they make wrongs coffees, and the one in the till seen a long queue instead of help with orders she stay in the till seeing the faces... I just go this coffee because of subscription and the closest to my job but I do not recommend it at all

Now I get why this prêt has low reviews. Even thought it’s a nice new looking venue, and by brick one. The staff are not helpful and rude. They have issue with card machine, I said doesn’t matter as I have membership and they said they wouldn’t accept it. When I said that’s ridiculous, I will complain, they said fine. But when I said can I speak to a manager, he then accepted to give me a coffee…. It’s very inconsistent….

Bad experience overall. Half of the space was blocked with tables, preventing customers from accessing part of the space, one of the employees was rude and overall the space did not looked nice and tidy. Won’t come back to this particular Pret A Manger.

Normally Pret is Pret but this branch has an issue with it staff unfortunately. I have been there so many time on Sundays (for 7months) and Yes the average is 1star for this branch only just for the sake of Pret. Everyone is complaining about the staff. There is another branch in Shoreditch and the staff is totally in a great manner. A small suggestion for Pret, please replace the staff working at this branch on Sundays with the staff working at Shoreditch branch for 3months.

Staff are more interested in their non-work conversations that taking orders. Public toilets are broken and I wouldn't trust the tap water anyway. Worst Pret I've been in London.

Rudest staff ever - avoid!! The man working at around 4 pm today was literally yelling at us. Ridiculous behavior.

Worst coffee shop ever. They scold the milk. It tastes foul. Also they have a random mix of what appears to be dirty milk jugs for frothing. Nothing is cleaned. They're taking too many orders simultaneously to cope. I won't go again. I had to throw my coffee away because it was so foul. Much nicer Pret's in the city. The one by cannon street station is an example of excellent service.

Just went in with the kids, ordered tuna sandwiches , egg sandwiches and it was terrible. Service is terrible where and my sons are not well after eating here @ HQ please can you look into this branch , food prepared isn’t right. I visit pret in the city and never have issues, this place is terrible? If my sons were not well eating here, I will escalate this further, thanks Kalam

I received an oat milk hot chocolate (extra hot) with a shot of hazelnut syrup exactly as ordered. The service was fast and friendly.

I cleaned my table and got yelled at to get my coffee back. Brexit shows us that young English people are rude and uneducated. What was the strength of London are no longer there.

Probably the worst Flat White I have ever bought from Pret. Coffee maker was disinterested. A cyclist wheeled their bike into the café and parked it against a seat. No-one said anything to her. I suppose to Pret that is normal. For me, I had to check my own seat to see if I was sitting in chain oil or tyre dirt.

Worse pret I ever been in my life! The guy that served me was extremely rude and the girl who made my coffee made the wrong one!!! I asked for a coconut flat white and they gave me a large late..then he said they ran out of cups and rolled he's eyes at me....also the coffee is burnt!

Okay so this male barista has never heard of a ‘pain au chocolate’ before fair enough I guess, but to shout ‘EH?’ In my face infront of the whole coffee shop was so unnecessary and rude, then the girl next to him joined the conversation and just said ‘no’ like okay? Bye then? Maybe offer something else or just apologise and say ‘sorry we don’t have that’… every experience I have in this pret is hostile and unwelcoming, also beenafew times before and think I got the correct coffee order ONCE

i ordered ice vanilla latte. the guy got me a hot latte. after i told him i ordered ice vanilla, he then poured the hot latte into the plastic cup full with ice. the drink was still warm when he handed to me. surprised that he didn’t even bother to do a new one. or at least make sure the drink is ice cold, as i ordered ice drink. very disappointed.

The creamy chicken mushroom soup with pesto pasta salad was excellent. Highly recommend this location.

My card was initially declined (which was the fault of the card reader, as I used my card successfully before and after this dehumanising and humiliating experience) but the employee didn’t let me try again and told me to get out of the line as I was “holding up the queue”. Constantly closed during working hours. It’s very frustrating when you have a 5 min break and want to get a quick coffee and they are closed. Definitely not coming back as they are not reliable at all.

The male barista there has an attitude problem. Just tried to order a cold brew which is on the menu and instead of clearly explaining why he couldn’t, he gave me various contradicting excuses for why he couldn’t give me the coffee I wanted. He was so unnecessarily rude. The cashiers were lovely and clearly walking on eggshells around him. Grow up mate.

I expected the variety to be more rich. Especially this one, when I've visted, had 3 or 4 options with meat and 2 vegans. But, overall, the place, atmosphere and prices are just great.

Hi there, I went to Pret a Manger in 121 Bethnal Green Rd, London E2 7DG today between 11.50am and 12.30pm. What was supposed to be a relaxed moment of my day ended up being the worst moment thus ruined my entire day. I ordered a Soy Mocha with Hazelnut flavour. After 10minutes standing, a male barista asked me what I was waiting for in a rather rude way so I told him that I have ordered a Mocha. Very quickly he made the Mocha and gave it to another employee who handed it to me. I could not see the Soy tag so asked him if it was a Soy Mocha with Hazelnut flavour. He confirmed it was so I went to a table to have it. To my surprise, it was a normal Mocha with no Hazelnut flavour. Nevertheless, since I spent 15 minutes waiting for it, I simply ignored that I was given the wrong drink even though I have medium-low level of lactose intolerance. While waiting for my girlfriend, I witnessed many things that I have never seen in any other Pret a Manger, The staff had a level of arrogance and rudeness that I have never seen. There were 3 people, one very young chap in the cash register (who seemed a little bit lost); a male barista making the coffee; a female barista  who was also making coffee. Both the baristas were not keeping track of the requests to the point that I personally saw them offering 3 coffees to clients, claiming that nobody would have come to pick them up. However, the reality is that they were providing the wrong requests to most of the people and that is the reason why many coffees remained unclaimed. As a result, in roughly 40 minutes I heard the baristas asking 3 times the clients if they wanted a coffee "on the house". When my girlfriend arrived, she decided to ask for a turmeric latte. After waiting for 10 minutes, I told the barista male that I was still waiting for the tumeric latte. He quickly became aggressive and said that his colleague, the barista female, had been "yelling" for the person who ordered a tumeric latte for more than 5 minutes and that I should be aware of it. He also told me that next time I should stand up and wait for the latte. However, the funny part is that I was literally seated next to the bar so I would have heard anybody asking about my request! Therefore, it was clearly a lie that this person had been "trying to find me" and the request was obviously forgotten. This is even more clear to me since they ended up doing the tumeric latte after I requested it! When they finally did the tumeric latte, I stood up and picked it up. While doing so, I told them that they should be more organised and that I am client and should be treated with respect, especially when I know that they did not even do the tumeric latte. Well, the lady simply laughed at my face while the gentleman came and told me to just go and sit "before he got annoyed". After saying this, he quickly turned his back one me while I was speaking. In the following minutes they both cracked jokes; said that I was saying a lot of sh***; told me that I could go online and complain...the gentleman even said "let them complain...". To be honest, I do not think that much will happen from this complaint. However, I believe that it's very bad for Pret a Manger to hire this type of people to work. I go pretty much everyday to Pret a Manger near my workplace and the atmosphere is usually very positive and kind. Unfortunately, after this experience I believe that I will cancel my subscription. I might pass by Pret a Manger but I am certainly not going to the store in 121 Bethnal Green Rd, London E2 7DG ever again.

Nice atmosphere, quick service. Casual and has seating with tables that are well distances for anyone covid conscious. And good coffee

A unique looking store in a vibrant area. Lovely staff and a nice relaxing atmosphere, plenty of seating and WiFi available. High quality produce and a decent selection of food choices. Just a shame that its awfully over priced and the taste isn't as good as it could be.

I went in this morning to celebrate my son's A-Level results. Was served by Alex who clearly was having a bad day. He didn't listen to my order and then got angry and very rude. I found the service completely unacceptable and very disappointing! No stars (but won't post without at least 1)

Awful experience. You pay a premium for Pret and expect the service and experience to reflect that. Not in this case - ignored for several minutes by several staff doing nothing but giggling between themselves, then the toilet was out of use for a reason they couldn't share and no air conditioning in July. Shambles

Great sandwiches can't go wrong with it here; it's a shame that the range is limited now.

Toilets never in Service at this branch. They are ok to take your money without leaving a sign to notify you that toilets are out of service. Makes sense that if you sell drinks, at the very least is to have functioning toilet facilities for the customer. Will use Costa across the road in future

The Batista's are lovely, and even when forgetting to give me my drink they made up for it and apologised profusely. I go in there to do uni work a lot and it's really calm and sweet. The Batista's deserve a raise!

Barista thought a double espresso was 2 x single espressos served separately.

You’ll have to ask one million time what do you need, also they’ll give you the wrong coffee. Best way to start the day. 🤦🏼‍♂️

A cosy branch next to East Aldgate Tube station serving a vast variety of hot and cold beverages. Sandwiches, wraps and pastries also on offer. A free drinking water station is available.

Very affordable. Perfect spot for a quick bite. Love their mission and values.
