Pub has a great atmosphere. Staff are lovely and there is always someone around to have a good chat to. Lots of live music, a great place for young people and also the older punter. Nice selection of drinks and snacks. Pool table is a great addition, and the garden/courtyard, although small, is a nice little space. The pub dog is great and the ginger girl behind the bar is lovely too.

1 Robin Hood LaneA group of us booked to have our Christmas lunch at the Oak, which has now turned into a yearly event. The setting, food and service were as normal excellent. The team at the Oak made it all extra special and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Mark, Jacci and the team.

Unit 6 Michael Gill Building, Tolgate Lane, Commercial Road5 stars because you get given plastic straws. If they were 1 thousand stars I would give them all of them. It feels like being in 2016 in this caffe

106 Pattens LaneOur local ,great atmosphere Holly & her staff are polite & always happy to help ,the bands on a Friday are fabulous alway guarantee a good night . Would strongly recommend their Sunday roast very nice & lots of it , all in all a great family pub which is full of local people who are welcoming to all .
