Greggs in Wakefield

Went into greggs qued from 10.45 which i dont mind got in for 2 mins to 11 asked for coffee and breakfast sandwich.(I am exempt from mask wearing and genuine and wear proof of this) was greeted with its finished attitude not we have none left sorry.It was not 11 o clock the attitude was nothing more than arrogance.she needs to be retrained.

I often go into Greggs, I find the staff very pleasant which ever branch I shop in but earlier today I was very anxious that although a notice said only two customers allowed I counted 6 . And to make matters worse only one customer had a face mask on. I mentioned this to a member of staff who said they can’t make people wear them. Can I make a suggestion Greggs could put a notice in the window no mask no sale like other retailers.(I was in the pontefract shop)

Wherever you go,you always seem to bump into a Greggs,well Pontefract is no exception. Friendly staff in an ultra clean environment serve up the most delightful sandwiches,savouries and canpkes that you could ever wish for.

it was a cold wet miserable day an was hungry so popped in here to buy a few pasties an cakes for train trip back 2 leeds an a hot coffee as well staff was really helpful

A standard Greggs on the high street in Pontefract which was open on a Sunday so very busy. We bought pizza slices from the hot counter, one was hot one wasn't. One was tasty and one wasn't.

Drove from Leeds and stopped for breakfast. The only place open in the town centre. Staff were great. Friendly and liked us as we were aussies and apparently not many come to Pontefract! Good quick food and coffee.

Regular visitor to this Gregg's purely for coffee, good standard with the quality always at a high standard. Sometimes find it hard to get a seat but the coffee is never in question.

Pasties, pies or butties, it's a good place for food on the go. All the Greggs shops are pretty much alike and the quality is consistent. There is a Greggs on virtually every high street so you can always find one. This one is much the same as any other so there are no nasty surprises. Visit with confidence.

Great fresh produce and lots of various types of things to choose from pastries cakes biscuits breads pizza soup can go on forever

I had not booked breakfast at my hotel and needed to be at the day's events early. A bacon roll with extra bacon, served with a smile and was more than enough to keep me going until lunchtime and at a bargain price.

I occasionally call her for the breakfast special. Bacon sandwich and a large tea for £2.00. The sandwich is so generous and they serve decent tea too. Well worth a visit as the staff are always cheerful and helpful. Of course, Greggs do loads more than just breakfast and have a good selection of snacks and drinks

Standard food served by pleasant staff. Not much choice in the chilled counter by way of sandwiches or salads but it was a Sunday lunchtime so understandable. Counter clean but the tables, seating area and floor looked like they had just had a party........no rubbish, just crumbs all over.....didn't look like it was from just today......otherwise clean.....

One of the first original best in house bakeries office oven fresh pastries and cakes in and take away I love the cheese and onion pasty it's just as fantastic as it was when the shop opened It's been copied but never equalled or beaten

Good shop with good range of food. The food is really good quality and also really tasty. If your in the centre of Pontefract and you want lunch, I would recommend Greggs.

There must be something quite special about this establishment as there seems to be a queue each time I call.However the service is quick and the staff polite.The quality of the pasties and sandwiches is well up to the Greggs standard so no complaints at...

It's Greggs. It's sarnies n pasties or pies or pizza maybe a bun or a coffee or other beverage. Not a lot to ask really. But the ponte Greggs in my opinion offer better customer service than some others, it's usually clean and tidy even...

Called for a sandwich and a drink the other day and found the place clean-service was good and polite and the food was fine. Not much more to say really-Ive been into worse Greggs shops so Pontefract is well worth a try.

greggs are all the same in my opinion usually staff are pleasant and well mannered as was on this visit!

Tried a well established hot food bakery Had favourite cheese and onion pasty melt in the mouth pastry and filling too loved it always the same high quality they are so well established quality comes naturally

Good selection of pastrys all cooked on site ,a small seating area inside only,cakes and bread lovely ,very fast service drinks available to have in or take out
