Greenhouse Kitchen in Rushcliffe

The Greenhouse Kitchen restaurant. Meatballs and tagliatelle which was very tasty. Duck with fresh pappardelle, absolutely delicious. Parmigiana di Melanzane served with brocolli and homemade focaccia. Oh my word this was the star of the show. This was outstanding,authentically Italian and quite possibly the best we have ever tasted. Even Mamma gave her approval,which is very rare. It was a good job we ordered a side of the lovely charred brocolli as it made a great accompaniment. This was definately worth the visit and we shall have to return to try the brunch menu. Maybe with our doggies,as they are allowed in the conservatory seating area.

Different. Quality food. Friendly service. Can't understand some of the previous reviews as our experience on their first day of opening after the new year was impressive. As foodies we like a change. The Eggs Royale were perfectly cooked and a nice touch with the spinach. Cappuccino good. My Truffle scrambled eggs was very tasty; being made with Lancashire cheese as well as the eggs. In fact so tasty the truffle could have been reduced a little for some people..........just ask and they will adapt the dish. Service was friendly, timely and the food hot. We shall return for sure as I hope their standards will not fall when the summer rush starts.

This was seriously disappointing. The impression given of the location is one of quality, but everything was poor. My and friends had the light breakfast, but seriously no value. I will give you some examples, the sausages... They are advertised as being a particular butcher (suggesting quality) but they were thin and rubbery. Your toast option is fine, but seriously half a slice! The staff are good and friendly, but the food is not good enough..

A superb afternoon tea for 20 people. Helped throughout by Jess Godfre. Wonderful flexibility and communication throughout with food to fill all needs (coeliac, veg, pesc, GF). Would highly recommend.

Afternoon tea for a birthday celebration in the greenhouse kitchen area as opposed to the cafe area. Great service by Alex who was absolutely fab. Cakes were amazing as always can highly recommend the afternoon tea for a special occasion. Don't really understand the negative reviews on portion size as I have used the regular cafe area in the past and always found the cake selections and portion size very good. Many thanks Alex. You were fab today with us.

What a fabulous experience. The afternoon tea is the best we've ever had, much better than Betty's, coupled with the best customer service from Jess. A lovely birthday treat. Exceptional.

Este restaurante es una verdadera sorpresa. No esperaría tan buena comida y servicio en medio de un centro de jardinería. La cafetería en el centro de jardinería es una decepción, sin embargo, el restaurante Greenhouse merece la pena el viaje. Nuestra camarera Megan fue muy amable y servicial, y la comida era fresca y deliciosa. Hemos estado allí para el té de la tarde con amigos y también para el brunch. El restaurante ha sido consistentemente bueno cada vez superando las expectativas en todos los niveles.

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea. The service was excellent (thank you Jess!) and the food was lovely. We will definitely come again.

With an open style kitchen you would have expected the food preparation to be impeccable but how disappointing dirty work surfaces, fingers used for everything and then finally food served cold. Everything appeared unclean from the staff to the tables. We should have realised, as the restaurant was empty at 1 o’clock.Such a shame.

Mi amigo y yo vinimos a tomar el té de la tarde (que tuvimos la suerte de poder reservar el mismo día), y lo pasamos de maravilla. Los bollos eran perfectos y había tantos pasteles que tuvimos que conseguir cajas para llevar. Nuestro servidor, Jess, fue maravilloso, completando nuestras bebidas sin fondo y asegurándonos de que teníamos todo lo que necesitábamos. Recomiendo encarecidamente el invernadero!

Tomé un delicioso té de la tarde hoy.Maravilloso surtido de sándwiches y pasteles. ¡Los MEJORES bollos calientes con crema coagulada!Todo el personal era muy hospitalario y amable. Estábamos tan llenos. ¡Gracias a Dios por la caja de la torta para llevar golosinas a casa para más tarde! !Una mención especial a Jess, que mujer tan amable y agradable. Obviamente trabaja muy duro y disfruta sirviendo al público.¡Esperamos volver pronto!Claire x

Disfruté completamente de un increíble té de la tarde para dos aquí ayer. Solo reservé un par de días antes y encontré que la cocina del invernadero era muy flexible en términos de tiempo para mi reserva. Nuestro servidor Jess fue increíblemente amable y atento desde el principio y definitivamente mejoró nuestro disfrute de nuestro tiempo aquí. La primera impresión fue visual y el diseño de la comida que nos trajeron fue impresionante. La selección de ambos sándwiches y pasteles también fue fabulosa: 5 sándwiches bellamente cortados (¡sin costras!) - ¡Mi favorito era el salmón ahumado y el queso crema! Tantos pasteles, particularmente disfruté el pastel de mousse y el macarrón. Para ser sincero, no terminamos todos los pasteles, pero el joven encantador de la cocina estaba listo con cajas para que pudiéramos llevar los pasteles restantes a casa para más tarde. Ah, y no te olvides de los bollos, eran enormes. No nos sentimos presionados a pesar de que se acercaba la hora de cierre y pudimos disfrutar de una experiencia fabulosa mientras conversábamos. . . . Definitivamente recomiendo con o sin compras asociadas. . .

Apareció y el lugar no estaba ocupado, se decidió aquí en lugar de en la sección de autoservicio, ya que eso fue atestado. Ojalá hubiéramos ido con la mafia!Orden tomada entonces una larga y larga espera para cualquier cosa. Cada vez que perseguíamos al camarero en busca de partes faltantes a la orden, siempre estaba a la defensiva culpando a estar ocupado. Ordenamos bien antes de que estuviera más ocupado.En el momento en que nos sirvieron, nos faltaron 50 minutos de espera.Este lugar tiene un potencial real. Comience por entrenar a su personal.La comida era buena para ser honesta, pero una pesadilla cercana fue servida.

No recomendaría este restaurante. Cuatro de nosotros visitamos hace dos días. Cafés ordenados, limonada y agua. El agua vino sin vaso, los cafés sin azúcar y tuvimos que esperar tanto el vaso como el azúcar, el café se enfrió.Las comidas eran pobres por el precio. Tostadas casi incomibles, una demasiado dura y otra dura pero no tostada. Las papas fritas no están frescas, se han mantenido calientes durante mucho tiempo y no son sabrosas. Una mitad de tomate 1. 50! Muy decepcionado y avergonzado como teníamos un invitado con nosotros. No comer aquí de nuevo.

Lo primero que notas al entrar es la deliciosa variedad de pasteles recién hechos y pasteles recién hechos. Enfrente está la selección de savouries fríos y ensaladas, de nuevo todo fresco y apetitoso. Más adelante está el Café Théfe con platos calientes preparados a la vista, y un bar separado para sopas y patatas de chaqueta. Todo está limpio y el personal es amable. En las horas punta, la cola puede ser un poco lenta, pero seguramente será popular. Muy recomendable.

We had a very pleasant, fresh and tasty lunch today. Lots of choice, from salads, stir fry, soup jackets etc., followed by a delicious choice of sweets. Nice atmosphere, very polite and helpful staff, clean and pleasant surroundings. The waiting staff were really well informed and cleared tables immediately they were vacated. I will most certainly be back.
