Lovely evening. All the food was came out quickly and was tasty and warm. Great visit.

Came here for a birthday meal. The staff were very attentive, the portions were massive and reasonably priced considering. Would highly recommend coming here for any occasion.

Lovely atmosphere, Sam was very attentive and polite. There was no rushing and even put a candle on the desert for mums birthday. So much food we've taken some home for a second meal.

Went for a roast dinner, me and my partner shared chicken and the slow cooked beef - it was delicious! Loved the Yorkshire puddings. Service was lovely, everyone extremely welcoming. Dogs welcome! Thanks for a lovely time

Pub empty wanted to order food,can't seat hear table's all booked even tho there is only two tables that had people around on sat outside for over an our hour all table's still empty lost money used to be so nice back in the day when it was full from open to closed

My friend and I went here for breakfast! What a wonderful experience. We were warmly greeted as we came through the door. Our order was taken promptly by the wonderful Sam. Excellent food and wonderful customer service. My friend and I would recommend!

I went to the Green Man for lunch and the food was lovely as usual but our waitress Chloe made our visit special. She was so friendly and attentive and didn’t worry when she came over a few times to find we hadn’t even looked at the menu yet. A great member of staff to have.

An amazing find and lovely staff

Today we came with our new puppy to have lunch in the snug. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier offering chicken or sausages for the dog and made us feel very welcome. My partner had the signature burger and I really really enjoyed the duck burger from the specials menu. Thank you for a lovely little lunch.

I used to go to The Green Man Offley about 40 years ago and did enjoy the Restaurant But sadly visited today at 1pm and was disappointed. The Building requires panting and updating I had a Sirlion Steak and it was not very appealing looked not what I had expected Small burnt a lot of Fat did not come up to Standard I was expecting. I choice not to complain as we were a Foursome There you go .. John lloyd Staff were OK

I feel a bit bad about this, but it seems to have gone downhill a bit. I used to look forward to eating here but after the last time we have decided not to return anymore. Shame really 😕

Bought my mum here tonight for her birthday. She and my dad had their wedding reception here 35 years ago 🥰 will always be a special place for my family.

Went for lunch and the service from Tom and Steff was wonderful, and the food was wonderful.

Me and my wife just had a fantastic Sunday lunch with our 7 week old son. The food was spectacular and extremely good value. The staff did everything they could to make sure we had enough space for the pram and my wife felt comfortable to breastfeed. Sam, our waitress was so lovely and helpful. Thanks to the whole team. It’s not often you go out and get service like this anymore, a huge thanks from us.

Delightful atmosphere, we come regularly and the staff, including gentlemanly Tom , always remember us:). Great view, tasty food, great selection of drinks. Just had the rhubarb gin and tonic for the first time, excellent. To top it all, a fabulous view!

My partner doesn't normally eat vegetables but he really enjoyed them, very fresh and tasty. Great value for money!

Visited for their Burns night menu and we were not disappointed. The size of each of the courses were spot on and we had a great night.

Ordered two meals from the menu which read two items for £16.50. So we had one Steak and Ale pie and Chicken with Bacon and cheese. We ordered two Apple pies for pudding. Total £33.00. We also had a pot of tea for two. Went to pay the bill and was asked for £51 something. £18.00 for pot of tea? Am I missing something about the prices on the menu. Didn't want to cause a scene in the restaurant so payed up but not happy. I have to say though that the actual meal and environment was very good.

A lovely place and great location. Staff were great and food was wonderful.

Really disappointed with the change of menu. Not as great as it used to be, Korean chicken used to be lovely, now to see it removed is very disappointing. Calamari was very bland, no flavour nor did the dip have that came with it. Steak for main was bland, no flavour at all. The garlic and butter dressing was overpowering, ruined the plate. For 21 pounds it really wasn't worth the money.

Went yesterday lunchtime with my mother and son and the service and food was 10/10. The young chap and lady who served us were lovely and really attentive and will definitely be going back when I get the chance.

Disappointing birthday lunch overall. Although the waitress tried hard she appeared at times to be the person on duty. When a waiter appeared he seemed disinterested in the role he had. Food was disappointing with some overcooked and others undercooked. Felt unable to complain whilst there as we were present as guests.

Sadly this pub has been on a decline for a while and is now plummeting. It’s our local so wanted to give it another try for the new year but sadly nothing has changed since our last few visits last year. It’s actually got worse. The young lady and young lad front of house are all that keep us going. They are lovely and polite even though all we heard during our visit were complaints. My starter was the bbq chicken which was lovely. My child had garlic bread which was good. My wife had ‘ Creamy Garlic Mushrooms’. The ‘s’ being important. A slice of bread arrives with a Singular mushroom (not plural) and some sauce. We raised our concern and were told they agree it’s wrong and said that’s what they now do. Point 1. Whilst we sat waiting for our main, we discussed our concerns and disappointment of how it was going down hill. However we then got lite entertainment in the form of the chef arguing with the staff. The bar manager expressed to the chef in his own words ‘what is going on? I am bringing every plate back half eaten…’ the conflict went on and got heated. The lovely young lad bar side tried to usher them out of the restaurant. Two chefs then discussed the whole thing bar side. The mains then came out. Nervous we were. I had chicken burger, my wife had duo of chicken and our daughter had pizza. My burger was nice but only had a slither of chicken… maybe 7mm thick. The onion rings were inedible. Our daughter’s pizza was direct from Iceland and looked like a flan. The centre wasn’t even cooked. My wife’s duo chicken was a lump of boiled chicken with a drizzle of sauce. The rice was flavourless and possibly a packet rice? Desserts- we didn’t bother. We didn’t want further disappointment. Overall - the front of house staff were all fantastic. They were sadly equally as disappointed. They understood and agreed with all our concerns. They rectified and dealt with our complaints very well. However, I really wish we just walked away with full bellies and great memories instead.

Roaring fire good food and service

Tom and Stefan provided excellent service. Food was lovely. We were seated next to a radiator which kept us lovely and warm during January. Food was decent I had the vegetable grill which was great in size however my partner had the mushroom pie and I felt that could have been bigger, despite this all round Good experience. Will be back again

Well we met up with a family member before Christmas, who travelled from Manchester. To say my meal was awful would be an understatement. I had the chicken fillet, which was dry, the cabbage was under cooked, and the sauce looked like congealed fat from a Spaghetti bolognase after cooking the mince. My last experience was no better. I'll not be back anytime soon.

Such a wonderful welcome from Chloe, so friendly and cheerful. The lunch was really lovely too. We really enjoyed it there today and the views are beautiful. 👍😊
