The best for good wholesome food served by brilliant staff. Sam made our visit enjoyable.

Everything went brilliantly, every meal was cooked perfectly, all came out timely, always enjoy the Green Man, our waitress was excellent

Only thing good about the meal was the waitress. Within 2 minutes of ordering food was virtually thrown at us. Only one choice of roast. Dirty stained chairs, vegetables had been lying around for a long time. All generally run down. Won't be going back

Had a lovely unplanned lunch. Great food and quick efficient service. Not been before, but we don’t live far away., So look forward to another visit, perhaps for dinner or another impromptu lunch.

The food was lovely. Very clean and the staff where friendly. Actually a very relaxing environment and didn't feel like you where rushed. Quiet so was a nice place to talk and be comfortable. Atmosphere and lighting just right.

I could not have my Birthday drinks as we were on an offer 2 for £20. I think an allowance should be made with a Birthday drink. We had the pork belly which was delicious.

I visited last evening around 7.30. I hadn't booked a table but was told the restaurant was full so we happily got a table in the bar area, I was advised there was a 30 minute wait for food because the restaurant was full. I eventually found a table and went to the bar to order, the bar tender was working alone covering the restaurant and bar and appeared quite stressed. I ordered the food, he was a bit snappy saying there was a 30/40 minute wait and I tried to be jovial but that didnt work. The place had a nice little vibe with lots of people. The food arrived about 30 minutes but mine a mushroom and ale pie but the pastry was some what undercooked sadly. I didnt have the heart to raise it because there were only 2 workers. I have eaten at this pub for over 20 years and whilst it serves good food and has lovely staff last night wasn't a great experience. Sadly to say I was surprised how tired the place is looking it is in need of a lick of paint and some fresh unstained chair covers.

Fantastic menu great vegetarian options one of best pubs for food I’ve been to in years and great staff. Chef and brewer should be proud of their product and more importantly their staff

Good Mother Day experience to be had at this charming pub in the countryside between Luton and Hitchin. Excellent choices of food for a three course meal and very well served by the guys there who made it worthwhile. Would have stayed in the garden and enjoyed the views. Definitely a place to come back to.

Service was attentive and the food to a good standard. On arrival my chips were cold but the kitchen quickly supplied replacement hot ones. We had a seat in the conservatory so we could enjoy the rolling views.

Our first time here today and we were warmly greeted on arrival today and served by Steffen who was entirely lovely and attentive. The food was great and we will definitely visit again.

Came here for an 80th birthday party and can’t fault the setting, the food, the staff and the great service which went beyond expectations even storing and lighting the candles on our cake. Thanks to all concerned for making this an extra special occasion.

Lovely atmosphere, Sam was very attentive and polite. There was no rushing and even put a candle on the desert for mums birthday. So much food we've taken some home for a second meal.

Pub empty wanted to order food,can't seat hear table's all booked even tho there is only two tables that had people around on sat outside for over an our hour all table's still empty lost money used to be so nice back in the day when it was full from open to closed

I went to the Green Man for lunch and the food was lovely as usual but our waitress Chloe made our visit special. She was so friendly and attentive and didn’t worry when she came over a few times to find we hadn’t even looked at the menu yet. A great member of staff to have.

An amazing find and lovely staff

Today we came with our new puppy to have lunch in the snug. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier offering chicken or sausages for the dog and made us feel very welcome. My partner had the signature burger and I really really enjoyed the duck burger from the specials menu. Thank you for a lovely little lunch.

I used to go to The Green Man Offley about 40 years ago and did enjoy the Restaurant But sadly visited today at 1pm and was disappointed. The Building requires panting and updating I had a Sirlion Steak and it was not very appealing looked not what I had expected Small burnt a lot of Fat did not come up to Standard I was expecting. I choice not to complain as we were a Foursome There you go .. John lloyd Staff were OK

I feel a bit bad about this, but it seems to have gone downhill a bit. I used to look forward to eating here but after the last time we have decided not to return anymore. Shame really 😕

Bought my mum here tonight for her birthday. She and my dad had their wedding reception here 35 years ago 🥰 will always be a special place for my family.

Went for lunch and the service from Tom and Steff was wonderful, and the food was wonderful.

My partner doesn't normally eat vegetables but he really enjoyed them, very fresh and tasty. Great value for money!

Delightful atmosphere, we come regularly and the staff, including gentlemanly Tom , always remember us:). Great view, tasty food, great selection of drinks. Just had the rhubarb gin and tonic for the first time, excellent. To top it all, a fabulous view!

Me and my wife just had a fantastic Sunday lunch with our 7 week old son. The food was spectacular and extremely good value. The staff did everything they could to make sure we had enough space for the pram and my wife felt comfortable to breastfeed. Sam, our waitress was so lovely and helpful. Thanks to the whole team. It’s not often you go out and get service like this anymore, a huge thanks from us.

Visited for their Burns night menu and we were not disappointed. The size of each of the courses were spot on and we had a great night.

Ordered two meals from the menu which read two items for £16.50. So we had one Steak and Ale pie and Chicken with Bacon and cheese. We ordered two Apple pies for pudding. Total £33.00. We also had a pot of tea for two. Went to pay the bill and was asked for £51 something. £18.00 for pot of tea? Am I missing something about the prices on the menu. Didn't want to cause a scene in the restaurant so payed up but not happy. I have to say though that the actual meal and environment was very good.
