Cultivo lounge in North Hertfordshire

Great place for a quick meal out with a huge choice for all dietary types. I don't know anywhere else that has such a great menu for all of the different dietary requirements!

Was a favourite place. Atmosphere and service still pretty good but prices and portion size have risen and shrunk. Probably ok for a coffee and cake now but sadly not worth it for a meal anymore.

Food expensive and low standard. 55c food. Staff lovely.

Always have a good time here. Whether its a last minute lunch decision, family dinner or evening cocktails, Cultivo is always a winner. Great they allow dogs as very few places do.

Decent food and a good casual ambiance but can occasionally feel quite stuffy inside.

The staff was rude and unattentive. The chips were burnt and very small in portions. I Won't recommend it all.

Great place to have brunch and meet up with family and friends. Food is good tasty and well presented. Service is good they are busy you usually don't have to wait to long.

Inevitably I end up in Cultivo Lounge whenever I come to Letchworth. It's good food with a nice atmosphere and it's a big place so I've never struggled to get seated.

We ordered Bang Bang chicken and Buttermilk fried chicken as mains. Both were overly done and burnt. We found the chicken dry. The drinks too were pathetic. We had to wait for more than one hour to be served (literally). They also had left their back door open, allowing the cold air in. We had travelled for 35 minutes to experience this appalling service. Truly dissapointed.

First time going to this place as I've passed it many times and wanted to try it out, honestly I got mixed feelings. The staff is super friendly, helpful and quickly sort if a mistake happens. The drinks we ordered came quickly, but the food we had to wait almost an hour for, and I'm not sure if it's because of how many people were visiting when we were there, or if it's the kitchen staff taking their time. The fries are really nice, but the burgers were a bit to greasy in my opinion. I'm sure this is a great place to go with friends for a pint, as they do come within 10 minutes of ordering.

Lovely food and the staff were great with children. Went with my two year old grandson who also enjoyed his food.

Food is well cooked and service is polite and efficient (especially considering how busy this place always is) but was served on cold plates so the food was barely warm when it arrived. A hot plate can make a big difference.

I love the lounges! I’ve been in several now and the atmosphere and food is always the same, that is, they are great!

Good value food, friendly staff

Love coming here, always busy and at times the food can be slow, but it's worth the wait. And, if like me, you're chatting to your friends, you don't notice the time so much!

Lovely place to meet up with friends or family or just a meeting place In general. Staff are great always welcoming when you enter the building. Great atmosphere.

Absolutely appalling service. Love that they are dog friendly and have a gluten free menu. However service is absolutely diabolical and I keep forgetting how bad it is and trying this place again for the above reasons. Big sign by the door saying "wait to be seated" yet despite the place being over half empty and at least half a dozen staff visible no-one acknowledged or seated us until we walked to the bar. There we were told ooh there's lots of dirty tables and vaguely waved off to find our own table anyway. Waited over 5minutes to be brought a gluten free menu which I had asked for. When I approached the bar to ask again, the three staff members there were too busy faffing with something they'd messed up on the till to even deal with me. After another several minutes waiting I gave up and left. Don't waste your time or money, shame as the food is usually great but not worth it.

Pub but super laid back, really open good for bigger parties and really good for different foods for allergies/intolerances

I wouldn't go back in this place,even if you paid me,it's supposed to be a dog friendly place,to be told I could not have my dog,who may I say gets nervous & was quite happily sitting on my lap to calm her down,to be told it was policy that I could not have my dog on my lap,I have been coming to this place for the past 3 years & have had no problem with this situation,the beers expensive & flat & the staff turnout is always different,after all that we ended up leaving & took our custom elsewhere to a much nicer place where the staff were welcoming & lovely....avoid cultivo lounge Letchworth

Food was really good, and there is quite big choice of it. We all liked the Decore and the fact that we could park very close to the restaurant, weekday in the evening. We didn’t know about the quiz but next we are back we will bring some change so we can participate as well. The staff were really nice and friendly and general feeling of this place is that it is very friendly.

Great atmosphere, nice service, good location

Don’t waste your time or hard earned money. Came today left as food was reheated and served. Wings hard , fries greasy and the two cocktails I ordered lasted for 3 sips as glad was filled to the brim with ice only for a cool £9.50 each. Upon making representations, was told they would let manager know. Case closed. Just appalling from beginning to end. Coleslaw also was as dry as a bone. Don’t take my word for it. Good food but small portions for the money

Previously had breakfast here which was excellent. Late lunch Saturday, food portions for the main dishes were very small and over cooked. We were very disappointed and hungry.

Attended the Halloween quiz last night hosted by Lizzie. She was amazing and professional and we had a wonderful evening. Will definitely be returning for the quiz again!

Went for brunch and had a great time. The food is great and reasonably priced with lots of customisable options; and the biggest variety of vegan and gluten free options I've seen to date (they have seperate menus to make life easier). The freshly squeezed orange juice also so good, please never stop making it fresh! Combined with the relaxed, warm and cozy feel; it's a place I'll happily be visiting time and time again. Also, dog friendly!! The more the merrier.

Always good food. Could be quieter (always quite loud music) but it's family friendly and dog friendly so all is not lost. Quick service, sofas or tables. One of a chain of 3 of these locally with this one being the biggest. Definitely worth a visit.

We used to be regular customers in Culitivo however I doubt we'll be back after our last visit. I ordered my food on the app and my wife did the same ordering her own food. My meal arrived after the drinks were brought out. Ten minutes later my wife is still waiting for her food, she goes down to the counter to enquire. She is told by the waitress that she would look into it and returns to our table. I watched from across the restaurant as the waitress clearly had received news from the chef that something had gone wrong with my wife's order. Instead of coming over and relaying what had happened she slinked off to the back part of the restaurant. My wife went back down to the same waitress to follow up on her order. She was told she would just check with the manager. She finally comes to our table and tells us that my wife's meal had been given to a large party of about 10 people about 3 tables away. And to make things worse, they did not have any of that chicken dish left. Laughably, she offered us a complimentary drink courtesy of the management. We refused, decided we had enough and went to get a refund for my wife's meal. The male manager's attitude at the counter was the icing on the cake. He didn't seem too bothered. I struggled to recall a time where I left a restaurant after literally not receiving a meal that was ordered. This came after several previous other issues from previous visits. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review of a business but this was beyond anything I'd experienced before.

Really nice place. I haven't tried the food. However place is spacious and friendly. Went there with buggy and there was no problem in leaving it next to the table, it was not bothering anyone due to enough separatio between tables, and believe me my buggy was not the only one. It is also dog friendly. I can't wait to go again and try some food.

The food here is perpetually disgusting. I say I won't go back. There's not much choice in Letchworth, so I go every 3 months or so. Always disgusting food. Cheesy fries are always burnt to the point they're black and the cheese is rock hard. The Sundea is half a scoop of nearly melted ice cream with half a glass of whipped cream, for £8. The mac n cheese is more like a soup. The burgers make you gag.

Didn’t eat here but not sure I will. Having seen other “Lounges” from the outside I had high hopes. They look like fun vibrant and funky places to grab a drink or bite to eat. This was a large mostly dead space. Outwardly it had all the character that all the others seem to have. The interior designer didn’t seem to know what to do with such a large space and so it’s more like a dance hall that’s had tables added to it. Drinks were fine but expensive for what they were however nothing to write home about. Staff were nice but when we order from a QR code I wouldn’t say the service is spectacular. Feels like I was paying for a loan for the expansion of what was originally a fun and interesting idea and has now become an expensive and indebted company at a time when interest rates a rising.

Went with family and grand children and one ceoliac. Great choice of food.

We came for brunch and ordered a pot of tea and a latte to begin with, the tea pot and cup came out and was filthy and sticky and then I found after biting into a massive fly in my latte! Very very disappointed and feel quite Ill to be honest. Not sure if we will return.

Spacious and cool, plenty of seating, sofas, table and chairs plus available seating outdoors, friendly service, order from your table via QR code or go to the bar. Good variety of on the menu, value for money, great location, helpful staff, tasty food.

We visited Cultivo for brunch early on Father's Day. We ordered through the app at our table, our drinks and food were delivered really quickly. I had the Miami brunch which was amazing! The fritters were so good! My husband had poached eggs with smoked salmon and our daughter had the berry pancakes. We sat at the very back of the lounge where the windows were open so there was a lovely breeze. We also found the book swap so sat looking at children's books with our six year old. Very handy as we forgot to bring anything for her to do! Would definitely visit again for a quick weekend brunch or a coffee.

Always great to visit for breakfast

Dropped by for breakfast a few days ago. It wasn't cheap; two breakfasts and two coffees ran in at over £30, so it should have been great. It was... okay. I had the Big Veggie breakfast (mostly okay, but some things - like the tomatoes, peppers and 'greens' - were very cold upon arrival); my partner had the Miami Brunch, which (when we re-checked the menu) had things missing (no coriander, no salsa) and the poached eggs were solid. So... "okay", then. Worth pointing out that we were looking for positives on this occasion, since our previous visit (about 2 months earlier, a weekday evening) had resulted in trying to get a drink from the bar... while the 4 bar staff behind it totally ignored us, while happily socialising amongst themselves. Hey-ho.

This is the second time we have visited for brunch and the second time my partners meal has beenomitted. Sloppy service from staff more interested in chatting to their colleagues than doing their job properly. My meal was tasty but we won’t come again because of the service - get some decent staff please!

Perhaps it wasn't great day but I strongly disliked this place. The soggy chips. The waiter opened the window behind my back even didn't ask me how I'm feeling about it... so, I wouldn't back there.

Things are a little pricey, was surprised not all brunch optics come with some sort of toast/muffin. It's a little dark! But everything is always yummy.

Food was cold. Portions were tiny fpr price. Still hungry post meal. Very somber atmosphere. Not good. Not bad.

Food and environment are quite nice.

Good quality food. Good variety and choice, service always efficient and friendly. They deal well with allergies - especially gluten free - and they have an imaginative vegan and vegetarian menu. My only gripe on this occasion was dogs. It is a lovely place to be able to take your dog - we have done so ourselves. But on this occasion two dog owners seemed oblivious of the dog etiquette and their dogs were yapping through much of our meal.

Always good food and drink. Our go to venue when we visit Letchworth.

Love this place! Good food, nice staff and reasonable price. You can order and pay online easily and the service is quick. They also have kombucha, which is not that easy to find. All the dishes I've tried were super tasty.

Most worst experience ive ever experienced Staff was overly rude unwilling we was ignored by manageress when asking a payment question about QR code also had a very aggressive approach to customers and just seemed not wanting to be their. Staff unwilling lazy and always completely out of stock of basic ingredients and seems the standard has slipped past the point of no return. if this was my establishment i would of fired everyone working tonight disgusting customer service. i refuse to come back again.... lost 2 regular customers. ill leave out the worst problem experienced in this establishment

The menu may look a bit like most pub menus but the quality is more than a cut above. A spacious and interesting interior too.

Food and drink is always great! You can order on your smart phone, from the comfort of your table, which is good. Service was excellent and the food came quickly. The atmosphere wouldn’t suit everyone, because it was a little bit loud and making chatting tricky. Overall, an amazing place to eat!

Lovely food , and good service . Hygiene isn’t the best especially in the kids area which really makes it a shame , maybe hourly checks needs to be made . Food is just left there on the floor all shift
