Great food, good company and great band. Went on a Saturday evening, they had a bad and a great vibe. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. The meals were excellent. Never had a better mixed grill. The service was very friendly and good.

Popped in to have dinner with the kids (13 & 10) , friendly welcome & good selection of food & drinks , 2 of us had fish & chips which was as good as any chip shop around, youngest had southern fried Chicken burger (fussy eater & demolished it) , partner had a burger with pulled pork & said it was amazing, would definitely recommend & would return

We had just had a game of hockey and we assumed that they could cater for 12 people. However when we got there we were told we could only order chips as they only had one cook and they were fully booked. We ended up going to the Golden farmer where we were were served.

Lovely place for drinks, great atmosphere. Such good service from Liz and Jess, they couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be back

Visited with 2 different sets of friends on two consecutive nights and were served by Roro who was very helpful and friendly. Some food choices weren’t available but everyone in our party was happy with the food portion size and the quality of the food. Nice ambience in the restaurant,

Really disappointing. Booked a meal for Fathers Day, arrived early for our table which was ready - bar was busy but restaurant was quiet. Ordered our food and waited nearly an hour, we asked where our food was, with 2 young children it was far too long to wait. Children’s food was then brought with a ‘sorry for the delay’ - we then waited another 15/20 mins for the adults food, by which time children had finished. Food was ok. Such a shame when we had been looking forward to a nice family meal. It would have been a nice gesture to offer a drink or something but nothing was done by the venue. On the way out Emma asked us to leave a trip advisor review…!! Maybe not the best idea given our very poor experience. Won’t return and certainly wouldn’t recommend.

Would give 6 stars if I could. Emma was so welcoming and so friendly with our puppy. This is the perfect pub to bring your dog. Food was great, people were so nice, friendly atmosphere, couldn't recommend more. First time I've eve seen dog ice cream, which was a nice touch.

I went to The Green Man for a quick drink with friends. The staff were so friendly, especially Rose-Marie who I found out is having her head shaved for MacMillan, what an amazing thing to do. The Landlady was always on hand for support of her Team which you don’t often see in local pubs. Will definitely be back 😊

Decided on the spur of the moment to go out for a meal and we like the Greene King menu. We were served by Kellie and Emma who were very attentive, polite and friendly. Food was good quality and good price, as always.

I walked to the Green Man with my family on a particularly sunny Saturday. Ordering food at the bar was very easy and staff were very friendly assisting with the ordering. We were warned there might be a slight delay but this didn't materialise and food came out nice and quickly. The food was great. We had quite a table picnic and it all came out piping hot. Although the Chef was on a break as we finished the bar staff served my daughter with ice cream for pudding. A lovely place with great food and helpful pleasant staff. This is definitely the first visit of many.

Can't thank the team at the Green Man enough really. Visited just before lockdown and again during tier 2 restrictions. Great service, good advice, felt super safe and reassured, the yarn 9 deserves huge praise for how they look after their customers and staff. Feel really bad for them as they are making a huge effort to keep us safe when other pubs (yes you, The Golden Farmer) aren't being arsed to look after their customers. Have always felt hugely welcome at the Green Man even though it's not our local local, but the service they provide is to notch. I love this pub. Visited twice this week. I have to say from the right being you’re well looked after. Food is delicious including those deserts. Emma and Ella have looked after us and the service is so good from coming and asking if we happy with our food and drinks, clearing the table as well as advising what desert to go for as we were quite indecisive what to have. Really makes a difference to have this litter more special service in your favourite pub. So happy to be able to go back. Definitely will come back
