We visited for a brunch. The menu had a great range of dishes that all sounded delicious. We were not disappointed. Good service . Generous portion size.

Excellent breakfast. We walked by this restaurant daily yet didn’t see it until the last day of our trip. Excellent breakfast that those with different tastes could all enjoy.

Had brunch on the outside terrace. Conveniently located opposite (and within short walking distance from) the entrance to St. Pancras station. Friendly staff. And the food is good!

Locale pulito e personale molto gentile. Però il Negroni sbagliato che mi hanno portato (cocktail presente nel loro menù) non era sbagliato, era semplicemente pessimo. Probabilmente il peggior Negroni mai bevuto, in cui trionfavano soda e softdrink frizzante. E tutto per 13,5 pound. Mia moglie invece, ha ordinato un calice di chardonnay e la quantità ricevuta era lillipuziana. Peccato, educati e gentili, pulito e accogliente ma the real thing, il bere, non era allo stesso livello.

Had breakfast twice here, really pretty restaurant, good staff and the breakfasts are great, lovely scrambled egg and the bacon butty was delicious, great staff, will definitely return

Disappointing evening, ordered bottle of wine then told 20 mins later that we could only have two ‘half bottle carafes’ which would cost a fiver more… food ok… medicore and expensive. Got locked in ladies ( v dimly lit) toilet and only got out after trying mechanism multiple times and eventually just kicking hard against door… told waiter what had happened when asking for bill, another 20 min wait then no explanation or apology. Paid bill, and was glad to leave …will not be returning

Fabulously sourced & prepared food and excellent service - on this occasion from Nevaeya! Great menu selection with lots of great sides. Drinks selection also great.

My friend and I hadn’t heard of this before and decided to go as we were in the area and were pleasantly surprised at how tasty and well presented the food was! We were so full! The decor and lighting of the restaurant is really nice. We arrived at 10 and must have been very lucky because we got seated straight away but by the time we left, the line was out of the door!

Beau décors, bonne cuisine, mais je n’aime pas les petits pièges au moment de payer l’addition. On me demande si je veux du lard avec mon burger, Il n’y a aucun supplément indiqué à la carte et je me retrouve avec 4,5 gbp en plus sur l’addition Pas correct !

Did not book, just took the chance and popped in. Good welcome. Obtained a seat for 2. Service fine, food very tasty. Nice atmosphere. clean tables, Good staff. waiting time for drinks and food was acceptable. Not far from Kings Cross station and St Pa train station. Could do a bit more with Pavlova to make it look bit more special. Taste was fine by the way.

Great little restaurant. The service was friendly, warm and attentive. The menu is a bit pricey, but normal for St Pancras Try an ANZAC biscuit while you're there!

J’ai pris un petit déjeuner qui consistait en deux galettes de pommes de terre, des œufs pochés et de la truite fumée. Les galettes étaient immangeables et les œufs pochés froids, venant sûrement d’un sous vide, du même genre que l’on trouve dans les buffets basse gamme. Plat vendu à 18 livres. Je déconseille vivement. Les deux points vont à la gentillesse du personnel.

Bit of a mixed bag. Service was fine, if a little unpolished but food was very hit and miss. Fried chicken starter was great, with a huge portion ( almost too big ), as was the grilled cauliflower. But the prawn noodle bowl main course was bland and tasteless and the rice pudding dessert not hot enough. Felt like an inconsistent kitchen not really on top of its game....

Appalling manners by incompetent and complacent staff. The last two times I went there I ended up leaving because of the complete lack of manners by the staff working there. Roughly a month ago I went for breakfast and ordered a cappuccino while waiting for my main order. After 25 minutes I was served with a cold cappuccino and no food; as I complained about the wait and also about the cappuccino that had gone completely cold, I was told by the manager that she did not know that the cappuccino was cold as she had not tried it (!!!) to then added that she did not know what else to do. Having no desire to teach what looked like a college girl how to run a restaurant and how to do her job on my free time, I left without waiting for my eggs whose arrival was - at that time - still to be determined. (By the way the couple by my side, who arrived well before me, told me that I got luck to get, at least, a cappuccino as they were still waiting for their order). Today I decided to give it another go and went there for an early dinner and asked for a table for two. When I asked if the background music could be lowered just a bit as we (the waiter and me/us) could not hear each other, we got the following response “Guys, this is a public restaurant which cannot accomodate the requests of a sigle person”. I will overlook on the rather impersonal way to address some unknown customers from what looked to be a late (and quite ill mannered) teenager. I was, however, tempted to ask if he had ran a poll among the “public” customers of his public restaurant” to define the music volume and if he risked to incur in a fine had he violated the unwritten volume rule and decreased the decibels even just by a little bit… One thing is certain: the staff is way too young, too untrained or maybe just rather too complacent to care about the quality of the service they are providing for the money the place is charging. Pity because the food is good (unless its quality has deteriorated in line with the staff manners), but I guess those doing their best in the kitchen are not aware that their efforts are being wasted by a group of college kids pretending to be hospitality professionals. Shameful

Overpriced, poor quality, cold food. Really underwhelming and depressing. Should be a treat, not an expensive ordeal.

Overall experience lacked given all the reviews we read about the place. One of the meals was inedible, the steak was cooked medium rare but it was so chewy and no seasoning. The prawn fish cake too was under seasoned and a little chewy. The burger was good though. Advised two members of staff that the steak was inedible but no offer to provide another meal or offer to refund the meal. The service was poor and they added a service charge automatically to the bill for a party of three. Really bad customer service we just paid and got out.

I tried a new dish in the menu, the onglet steak. It was delicious. It came with awesome crashed pan fried potatoes and watercress. The Tempranillo wine was great. I always come back because of the stuff the stuff is lovely and I love the open decor with huge sunny windows

Rude staff with appalling attitudes from the waitress to the manger. None should be in the hospitality business. Food was ok but not great. Has gone downhill over the years. Won’t be back.

Terrible service. Waited an hour for food and when it arrived it was stone cold. Iced coffee like tasteless brown water. Staff avoiding you. People who came half an after after us being served before us. Asking them to check when our food is coming but they did nothing about it. Then giving us a discount on food but adding insult to injury, charging us service charge. If we weren’t in such a hurry I wouldn’t have not paid anything. Wasted a lovely morning waiting for terrible food and service. Will not go back. Such a shame as was looking forward to some Aussie style breakfast and service. Do not recommend.

Our initial order consisted of two rounds of food, eggs toast etc and then hotcakes to follow, after being halfway through eating out eggs I told a waitress that it would be a great time to take the second part off hold and start preparing it, we then had to wait 35 minutes for this to arrive, with very poor assistance in the mean time, do not recommend this place

Arrived around six in full daylight. Despite several seats that remained empty for the duration of our meal being empty, we were seated at the bar. We happily agreed. Some of our best dining experiences have occurred whilst chatting to friendly charismatic bar staff. We ordered a couple of appetisers (crab toast and gochujang chicken) and a couple of mains (fish and tuna fishcake and coconut curry) from a kid who was clearly clueless. We sipped our drinks and waited. Then the curry arrived. We explained we’d like our appetisers before our mains and waited again. The appetisers arrived and were delicious but we were beginning to notice that instead of charismatic bar staff, we were dealing with unfriendly robots who didn’t care about our experience one little bit. And then it went dark. To “heighten the mood” the lights over the bar were dimmed so much we couldn’t see what we were eating. The mains arrived and were pretty ordinary (food is as much visual as anything else). I then started finding little pieces of what seems a lot like hair in my crab and tuna cake. I told one of the bar staff and she returned to tell me they were “bones”. I’ve eaten a lot of crab and a lot of tuna and have never found hair thin black bones in either. We were told the “manager is going to talk to you”. After twenty minutes of pushing food around in the dark and with the manager still absent, we paid and left. A return is doubtful.

A lovely cafe with good service, but £16.50 plus service charges for some over-egged and under-salted hotcakes served with a whole raw banana haphazardly cut in half lengthways on the side and a drizzle of syrup was quite outrageous. Thankfully there was some flaky sea salt on the table to make the dish a bit more tasty.

While visiting London we happened to walk past and decided to have breakfast. We were seated quickly, and the service was very efficient. The chilli fried egg roll was delicious. Convenient location and tasty food. Will definitely recommend it!!!

Lovely brunch. Spectacular scrambled eggs. Generous amounts of cheese on the cheese toastie and avocado on the avocado toast. Good coffee. Pleasant and efficient service. Close to King’s Cross. Recommended - well worth the short queue to get in.

Absolutely awful, wrong starters arrived and the main arrived will eating late starter! The Hake was cold and undercooked. Starters plates and empty drinks were cleared only when paying bill. 2 people, £120 and just disgusting food. Very disappointed and complete waste of money….

I came back here as I had visited some months ago, and really enjoyed it. However, this visit was disappointing. Menu was limited, and the salad range wasn’t what it used to be - decided on the grilled chicken salad, which was basic and had far too much creamy dressing. Not feeling very full. It is not cheap either.

Had an amazing time out with my mum- the food was amazing and so were the cocktails! All of the tables were taken when we came but within 5 minutes of sitting in the bar, a waiter that noticed we were hoping for a table and gestured us over. Food arrived a lot quicker than most london restaurants and the atmosphere is amazing. Would come again and definitely bringing my friends here! Loved it, thank you Kevin!

They had me at “Ricotta banana griddle cakes” and they did not disappoint! Those pancakes were SO fluffy I felt like I was eating a cloud. The staff was very friendly and helped us get seated quickly even with a queue outside Like most any place in London, the tables are tightly packed together- just a heads up if you’re worried about the pandemi!

Really pleasant surprise. Sat outside today for a quick lunch as we had a train to catch. I always have a preconception of restaurants right next to train stations, thinking that they won’t be very good and I’m not sure if why. Anyway today changed my mind. Just had the cheese burger and fries but it was absolutely delicious! The creamy dill sauce on burger was lovely and I need the recipe for the relish that was served on the side! Thank You

So glad my wife & I found this spot! What a comfortable, stylish spot with (bonus for us) a nice long bar to dine at. Everyone was very friendly, casual yet professional. We really enjoyed our three dishes: the crispy chicken, peanut and iceburg cups weer excellent, perfectly spicy and crunchy with a cool ranch dip; the raw tuna, yellow tomato & radish salad was fresh and tasty; and the chopped salad w/ edamame, courgette, cabbage, tomatoes & chickpeas was also tasty with a nice sesame dressing. We'd definietly return!

Would you like to know the biggest niggle?? In this time of the absolute need for hygiene, the waitress came to collect our starter plates and then proceeded to take the cutlery off the plates (still dirty) and place them directly onto the table! Meaning any germs/ bacteria/ virus from the table contaminated the cutlery which we then had to use for our main. No fresh cutlery for the mains! Secondly, we weren't told that we could only sit at our table for 2 hours. We only found out when a brusque person came over and rudely told us that we had 10 mins left and he couldn't do anything as it was policy- we hadn't even argued the point. He really needs a little training in customer service. The food however was awesome. Shrimp toast full of flavour. And the Miso Salmon melt in the mouth and delicious.Let down by service. I won't return whilst their Covid 19 processes are so lax.

Has lunch and had a short wait to get a table as there is no bookings for lunch, only dinner. Great place to meet and catch up. Food is delicious and nice sized servings too. Service was very good, friendly and efficient. Price was reasonable too Happily recommend eating there.

4 falafel balls. £15. The food came within 5 minutes of ordering. No lie! When something comes that quickly you have to ask yourself how fresh is it? In any event the food was OK, but not worth the money. Quite cramped in there also.

this cavernous place modern decor. great coffee and food. seats inside and out. everything - including toilets on one level. just behind Kings Cross Staion.

Popped in with friends prior to catching the train home. Got there just before the rush and got a nice table outside.We had our breakfast order taken promptly but had to wait 20-25minutes for our coffees which we had to chase up twice.The coffee eventually arrived, although nice it was the size of an espresso for in excess of £3 with no refills.The food eventually arrived and again it did not set the world alight. With one of the breakfast buns being cold and needing to be sent back.Very underwhelming visit which was compounded by the poor service, that won’t be repeated.

Nice restaurant, welcoming staff, disappointed with the food, had the avocado on sour dough, quite nice, came with option of poached egg.Egg was tepid at best, also, I kinda expect a poached egg to have a runny yolk, failed miserably. Overpriced for what you get

We might have caught then on a bad day, but this was average at best. Small menu (which is fine) but out of stock of two signature dishes. Almond milk (which they make themselves) tastes like dish water! The scrambled eggs, aren’t scrambled, it’s an omelette and an overcooked and unseasoned one! And finally the toast was cold and burnt……. Other than that all good! Needless to say I won’t be coming back.

Had a gorgeous lunch with my family here recently - perfect location before you get on a train and head home from a London weekend!I am a big fan of Bill Granger and have been using his recipe books for more years than I would like to admit. I've been to his Notting Hill place before, but not this one. The food was delicious, service attentive and the atmosphere inside was buzzing on a monday lunchtime. My only complaint is that we had paper napkins - come on guys, this isn't a cheap place but it felt like a cheap touch. they may quote covid measures (but that's just an excuse and I guess it's a money saving reason), but I think that at these prices (and quality) your customers deserve better.

I visited here in the recommendation of a friend. I had to wait some time for an outside table as the restaurant was very busy. Plenty of tables outside and indoors. Service was professional and friendly. Prices were, in truth, a little expensive for the food provided. I had sweetcorn fritters served with bacon accompanied by an avocado salsa. The cost at £17.50 was pricey. It didn’t help that the small ramekin of salsa cost an additional £3. Still I guess you’re paying for location in a very smart area behind Kings Cross which I never knew existed. Would I go back? I’m not sure. I certainly wouldn’t rave about my dish. It was nice but nothing spectacular.

This is an excellent restaurant for having breakfast. Next to King’s Cross & St. Pancras Station, it offers a quality and diversified breakfast. Vegan granola was excellent, as it was the chilli fried egg in brioche or the summer fruit bowl. The atmosphere was also great.

Had breakfast here with my boyfriend and it was honestly one of the best brunches we have ever had. Really fresh and delicious food, generous portions and great service. Would highly recommend.

loved this brunch spot on pancreas square. I ordered the avo toast with halloumi, and they had gluten free bread!! kevin was a great help with my food and provided impeccable service. definitely coming back!

What a gem of a place in Kings Cross - fantastic location , we was lucky to get a seat outside which allowed us to watch the world go by on a Saturday lunchtime- food was very tasty - i had the Hot Salmon Salad - delicious- friend had scrambled egg which was awesome - service was also fantastic- bit pricey for lunch but i expected that for London- definitely recommend and worth the half hour wait for table

Needed a swift breakfast before onward travel and could not have chosen better. Ordered the sweetcorn fritters with bacon, spinach, tomato and poached eggs with a fresh mint tea. Small gripe that this was literally a cup of hot water with mint leaves thrown in for £3, but London prices hey. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Staff and service friendly and swift. Would highly recommend.

Superb food this evening. Some terrific healthy food choices that really deliver on flavour. We have been a number of times and it never disappoints. Our only complaint is the tables are very close to each other. Not much privacy from other customers.

Sat outside under the shelter of the overhang(just about!) wrapped in blankets provided watching the world go by. Staff were really friendly & had a couple of drinks each & a bowl of olives. The food I could see looked lovely & the menu read nicely - would recommend. Not sure on the 1st choice of cocktail - passion fruit caiprioska - bit lumpy & the paper straws fell apart in the process! The wine was nice though....

We visited granger and co on an unexpected rainy day in July. A waitress opened the door for us whilst we were busy sorting out our umbrellas - this was a lovely welcome! We were seated & menus given & immediately asked if we’d like to order drinks to which we said we’d like a few minutes. I ordered the chilli fried egg in brioche, baby spinach and spiced mango chutney with bacon. The egg yolk was orange speaking of the quality though I detected no chilli nor mango chutney until my very last bite. My husband ordered two poached eggs with avocado, lime and coriander on toasted dusty knuckle sourdough - he struggled to cut the thick sourdough with such a blunt knife & overall felt the dish was average. We also had two orange juices with ginger shots & two coffees. Orange juice was fiery & punchy which we loved though the size of the glass was measly & the coffee was average. The waiting staff continuously visited our table which I felt was very off putting. They presented us with the bill & stood there with a card machine which I found very odd bordering on rude. Usually they leave you with the bill & return a few minutes later. I felt as if they were trying to get read of diners though could not understand why as there wasn’t a queue of diners & plenty of tables available. All in all, we were in there for 35 mins maximum which really speaks for itself. The toilets are ridiculously dark with very atmospheric lighting almost what I’d expect from a night club. Really doesn’t fit with the ethos of the food that is served. To summarise, food was pretty average, the staff were overkill & I really didn’t appreciate being rushed especially at the prices they charge. Disappointing & I will not be returning.

Lovely outdoor location for brunch in St Pancras Sq. Having been to Bill Granger’s restaurants in Australia, don’t miss his signature brunch dishes listed under “classics”, especially the ricotta hot cakes and sweet corn fritters! Service was outstanding - friendly, professional and efficient. Our server Kevin was fantastic with his order suggestions, accommodating substitutions and extra requests.

Stopped here for a morning drink. Not much in the way of views outside but at least we were in the shade with a breeze. The service is poor even though there were adequate staff around. Nothing memorable about the drinks either- Latte, Chai Tea. I suspect this place needs travellers and office staff to keep the business going. I will not be back as there are plenty of other places to try nearby. Prices were as expected for this area.

Salmon very underdone. “Asparagus” side dish as offered verbally was actually asparagus, edamame and broccoli, which would be fine, except I can’t eat broccoli. Spotty service outdoors and no particular concern from the waitstaff. Nice outdoor setting.

First time here although I knew of the mini-chain. Nice, pleasant surroundings, a little bland. Good, efficient service. The food is good but on the expensive side. A fresh Aussie breakfast with sourdough toast comes in just under £16, a large spare water £4.50. The hot cakes (ricotta pancakes) were excellent and a good size portion at £14. I think that the sides could quickly push the prices up beyond reasonable. Plenty of dining choice in this area now stretching back to Coal Drop Yard (mostly, in my view, on the side of over-priced) so it really depends on what cuisine you want & the ambiance when you visit.

Wanted to have lunch with a colleague in the King's Cross area and stumbled across Granger and Co.We had a table outside in the sun and were given a warm welcome. I had the poached chicken, green papaya and pomelo salad with chilli and crushed pistachio (£16.00) and my colleague had the shrimp burger, lemongrass dressing, aioli and shaved radish salad with fries (£16.00). Both were delicious. I'd definitely visit again.

My first time here.I ordered as follows:fresh aussie - jasmine tea hot smoked salmon, poached eggs, greens, furikake, avocado and cherry tomatoes 13.80+ toast 1.50The salmon was cold and smelt rather pungent. The description above is overrated. The poached eggs are small. Overall - a disappointing meal.My colleague ordered:sweet corn fritters, roast tomato, spinach and bacon 13.80 He seemed happy enough.No complimentary masks here. Given they're 10 pence each - one would expect such in the current climate. Social distancing in this establishment is poor and you may well end up with someone sitting uncomfortably close on a table next to you. I prefer 2m gap - regardless of guidelines and have found many restaurants adopting this. The washrooms at this place are extremely dark for some reason. Very poor lighting.The service is excellent. The location is great. Food wise - nothing to write hone about from my experience.

So glad to be back! This is one of my favourite restaurants in Kings cross and I saw it open again as I was walking last today.... could not wait to get in! Although some of the staff seemed new, they all worked incredibly hard and were professional from the outset :) the food of course was amazing. I would definitely recommend the hot cakes ... they are a winning dish every time. Thank you for reopening outside! I’ll be back tomorrow for more :)

Consistently good food and coffee. Must haves: egg fried rice with crab, chicken schnitzel, fish curry, prawn burger, ricotta hotcakes and their bonkers avocado frappe.

The food was bland, with the chilli egg and bacon brioche lacking the bite chilli should provide. Half the egg yolk was missing. To top it off, a discretionary contribution to the restaurant's charity is added to the bill, as well as a "discretionary" 12.5% service charge. This ballooned the bill for basically a bacon and egg roll and a coffee to just south of £15. Personally, I felt ripped off when I left, and like I should have complained. Very disappointing.

Great healthy food. Always have a great meal here. The food, service and atmosphere are perfect. You can now reserve a table for the evening which helps when you are meeting friends. Looking forward to visiting again.

He estado aquí varias veces para tomar algo pero nunca comí, aunque la comida siempre se veía deliciosa. Comí aquí ayer con mi hermana y no nos decepcionó. El personal fue muy amable y acogedor al llegar, comprobando nuestra temperatura, se sintió muy seguro, siguiendo la guía de Covid. Ambos tuvimos la hamburguesa de camarones que era tan jugosa, el alioli estaba fuera de este mundo, patatas fritas cocinadas a la perfección. Fue absolutamente delicioso. El personal estuvo atento en todo momento sin ser demasiado y no nos sentimos presionados. Quería llevar a mi hermana a un lugar especial y me alegré mucho de haber elegido aquí. No puedo esperar a volver

I'm vegan and had a fabulous lunch: fritters, chickpeas, salad, haloumi. Service, decor, ambience was fabulous. Definitely we will be coming back when in London.

Attentive, great and covid friendly service. The food was delicious, we had the shrimp burgers and the lentil dhal and it was all so good. Lovely dessert also! Can’t wait to come back!

He comido aquí algunas veces y la sucursal de Chelsea solo una vez. Siempre acertar y fallar. O lo hacen muy bien o simplemente mal. No hay término medio. El personal aquí es muy amable y servicial, especialmente la chica brasileña. Servicio rápido y eficiente. Limpiar. Están muy ocupados en el brunch y los fines de semana. Relativamente tranquilo en una tarde de lunes a viernes. Algunas mesas afuera también. Acabo de tomar el chai con leche de almendras. ¡Esto estaba en el lado no tan bueno! Sabía como algo que podrías hacer en casa con una bolsita de té y polvo. ¡El chai de mi madre es mucho mejor! Servido en tetera (2 tazas).

Excelente comida, fresca y sabrosa, sencilla pero delicada, las porciones son decentes y los platos se ven bonitos.Excelente servicio, todo el mundo es amable y servicial, además no tiene que esperar a que le atiendan.El entorno tiene un gran ambiente y siempre está lleno (ocupado se traduce como calidad).Buen café también.No es de extrañar por qué hay una señal, especialmente los fines de semana, pero vale la pena.Personalmente, recomendaría el menú de brunch durante todo el día como un "must have", todos los platos son excelentes y mis 3 favoritos serían el australiano, los hot cakes de ricotta y los buñuelos de maíz.

Really enjoyed this place - we were staying in a hotel round the corner and my neice took me here. Good safety measures in place which was great to see. Delicious food and great service. Highly recommend!

Visitamos para el brunch a principios de agosto un lunes y cuando llegamos a recibir la factura nos cobraron el precio completo a pesar de la publicidad de que participaban en "comer fuera para ayudar". Cuando nos preguntaron con nuestro servidor, nos dijeron que no iban a tener un descuento del 50% hasta más tarde ese día.Después de ponerme en contacto con el restaurante a través de las redes sociales (en una de sus publicaciones que anuncian su participación en el plan de salir a comer para ayudar) me dijeron que alguien se pondría en contacto para solucionar esto. A pesar de enviar mensajes varias veces más, todavía no he escuchado nada de su equipo y mis mensajes han sido ignorados - pésimo servicio al cliente.

Buena comida y oferta, sin embargo, demasiado cara para las raciones que dan. Caminando por Kx decidimos entrar ya que el restaurante se veía hermoso por fuera.Pedimos las patatas fritas de calabacín y tostadas de cangrejo como entrante, delicioso y bastante rápido. Como platos principales, los dos pedimos salmón miso con arroz, ya que nos encanta el salmón. ¡Qué gran elección, la salsa es simplemente increíble! De postre choco fudge y pavlova (enorme). Hermoso café por cierto.Una vez que entras, el personal es encantador, preguntan después de cada pedido cómo estuvo todo y cómo podrían ayudarnos. ¡Nuestra anfitriona Kira fue increíble!

Great spot for lunch! I had a very tasty salad, staff was incredibly nice and social distancing measures were some of the best I have seen so far.

really looked forward to this visit, it’s the kind of food I love. But despite some super friendly table service and one or two good dishes like the pork belly, ultimately it all disappointed and came away with poor experience at relatively high cost. Started badly with being brought the wrong wine, continued with several bland dishes that were no better than an average cook could make at home, & finally one of the desserts was completely undercooked and then got a bill that was wrong. Rewind though....how do you actually undercook banana fritters?! It’s this sort of lack of execution that points to some serious issues in how this restaurant is run with mistakes all over the place from front of house to kitchen. At >£50 per head I expect a lot more. Unless you want to bask in the windows watching the world go by, I’d avoid.

No service at all! Very disappointed as they do not have a booking system, just people freezing outside waiting to hear their name like in a old canteen style, and if you do not hear it you lose the spot. I believe in 2020, for busy places for brunch like this a system to book a table looks more easy instead of freezing outside. Service? Not really... just asking if you want a coffee or not, bringing the food which is nothing wow for £14 ... quite disappointed. Will definitely won’t go there again or recommend it! Are many other places in London where you can get good food without to stay outside on a pointless queue .

Coffee was good and provided with plenty of free tap water - just as it should be everywhere. Unfortunately we were at a table by the door and so got a cold blast every time someone came in or went out.

My friend had been for for lunch & dinner but always wanted to try the brunch. We got their early (around 11) as we knew they’d been a queue, luckily only waited 20 mins. Our waitress took our order, came back to clarify (lucky she did as she’d gotten it all wrong). Then another waiter came over to clarify our drinks order as she still didn’t understand - we forgave her as we believed she was new. However, when our food came my friends ‘extras/sides’ where missing and I’d ordered the boiled eggs and toast to dip in. I had hard boiled eggs, I managed to quickly get someone’s attention but it took another 25 mins for 2 new eggs to come over (think we can all agree eggs take minutes). I had to chase them twice. Meaning my friend had finished her food and my plate had been whipped away. We requested some chilli flakes, which they have any chilli flakes, so brang us fresh chillis - not quite the same. Then when the bill came, they’d taken 20% off my main dish due to the inconvenience, not the whole bill, but had still put service on. After a rather unenjoyable experience & not very friendly staff it was fair to say we were not giving them a tip for messing up our order so well. And above all else, our food was nothing better than average. Neither of us could understand how they had a queue outside of people waiting for an hour + when they have awful service, over priced mediocre food.Would not recommend.

The waitress (Ella was her name) was great, very sweet and very helpful. Haven’t had such good service in a while! The food tasted great too!

What a refreshing change. This restaurant does not do bookings but it is definitely worth going to. I had booked another restaurant in the area for a meal with friends but on arrival, it was way too noisy so I walked around and popped into Granger & Co, which was the place I wanted to go to in the first place, to ask if they had a table. A 40-minute wait soon turned into no wait at all and a table for 3 was ours. Thank you so much to Amy for accommodating us. We had a great time and the food was definitely a refreshing change from the norm. Your staff are really knowledgeable about the drinks and food menu. The different flavours were interesting to try and the choice on the menu is good. I had the burger and chips and will be back to try other meals. For dessert, I had the condensed milk ice-cream which was delicious and creamy. Loved it. Really cosy atmosphere and a great place to eat, drink and be able to have a conversation. Much appreciated.

I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough. It’s really busy and you can’t book, but it’s worth the wait, and I’ve never waited longer than about ten minutes for a table which really isn’t that bad. The staff are friendly and helpful, service was efficient and the food was great. I’d definitely recommend the salmon. And also make sure you have a cocktail while you’re there as well - I like fruity ones and opted for a passion fruit caipiroska, it’s was delicious!

La sopa tardó una hora en llegar, a nuestro camarero de falta de brillo no pareció importarle en absoluto y evitó nuestro ojo cada vez que intentamos llamar su atención para perseguirlo. Cuando finalmente llegó, no era comestible ya que los fideos no se habían cocinado en el caldo y todavía estaban duros. Decidimos irnos y le informamos al camarero por qué, una vez más, realmente no le importaba. La camarera se disculpó pero no ofreció una respuesta real. No volveremos

Fui a Granger y compañía para almorzar con un amigo hoy y toda la experiencia fue terrible. Tuvimos que esperar 10 minutos para una mesa que estaba absolutamente bien, ya que estaba lleno. Una vez sentados, nos resultó difícil llamar la atención del camarero para poder ordenar. Ambos pedimos la sopa de pollo y fideos. Después de 45 minutos de espera, le preguntamos al camarero si la comida estaba llegando. Prometió que vendría pronto. Después de otros 15 minutos, volvimos a preguntar y finalmente nos trajeron la comida. Se veía bien pero desafortunadamente hacía frío y los fideos estaban completamente crudos y no eran comestibles como tiras de cuero. No hace falta decir que nos fuimos sin comer. El camarero no se disculpó. Una pérdida completa de una hora, especialmente dado que hay muchos otros buenos restaurantes en la zona.

They are always busy no matter what time you go! This was my third visit here. Their breakfast and brunch is very good. The dinner menu is nice too but breakfast and brunch is heavenly! Try if you can to avoid Saturday morning's and early afternoon when the line is very long. We went at 07:30 on a Friday morning just after they opened at 07:00 and it was already three quarters full. The restaurant has a really nice ambience. Nice light decor and bright. Staff are friendly, service is fast and efficient but it needs to be given the turnover. I had the miso and brown rice porridge with coconut yoghurt and mango and a weak americano. The porridge was divine. Portion size was generous. Not sickening. Good presentation. I would have liked it to be warmer but this was more a preference. I have never liked their americano's so not sure why I decided to have one again! It was very bitter. I normally ask for one shot which they use but I think half a shot may be better. There is a big selection on the menu from pastries to bircher muesli, eggs and their famous pancakes to name a few! It's not cheap but worth a treat. We normally go once a month when we are in London if possible. I always try and have something different on the menu. As I mentioned, service is good. However, it did become rushed as they got busier. Sometimes it would be nice to relax rather than the staff pouncing on you as soon as you have finished so that they can seat the next guests. They don't take bookings. Would recommend.

We had a really delicious meal with friends at Granger & Co St Pancras. I regularly go to their other branches for breakfast, but it was a first having dinner there. The fish curry was really fragrant and delicious, and the burgers were generous and moorish. The service was very good too. Highly recommended!

3 of us ordered a late lunch / early dinner here. We arrived at half 3, and the closing time this day was 5pm so plenty time. As we were ordering drinks the female manager interrupted the waiter and told us to order food now as the kitchen is closing ( this was around 4pm- an hour before close). This surprised us but it was fine. Once we got our food we were enjoying it. The manager approached us again, asking if we would be ordering desserts because again they want to close the kitchen. Really rude considering we were eating and didn’t bother to ask how our mains was, just trying to rush us. Of course we did not want to order a dessert with this kind of welcome. Further into the meal she approached again, asking if we would be wanting a coffee ( so they can close the coffee machine if not). It was only 20 past 4. No we said, we do not want coffee. As soon as our plates were cleared we were given the bill without requesting it. And everything like salt and pepper etc was cleared off our table making it very obvious they wanted us out. We left half an hour before close but we’re made to feel very unwelcome and took our custom for an after meal coffee to a different cafe where we were welcomed. VERY bold to then add on 12.5% service - which we requested to be removed.

Food was amazing, as I went to go to the toilet a waiter was in the way getting a man to pay, she was blocking my way, she says. “You can waiting” which I found very rude as customer care should be number 1 priority.

Had a wonderful lunch, menu choices are great. The Manager (the girl with the very long hair) was so helpful and so pleasant, will definitely eat there again.

I visited the branch at around 10 in the morning to have brunch before catching my train to Canterbury. An easy location to find since it's just next to King's Cross station. I did not have to wait long to get inside but once seated everything went downhill. I ordered a Fresh Aussie and a flat white. It was only average at best. What ruined my mood was the attitude I got from the staff. They were uninterested in serving and looked frustrated when you requested for bill. I mean excuse me, I am paying 12.5% service charge for this kind of "service"?! Definitely not a good start of the day. Paying 21.5 pounds for this? Sorry, never again.

Apareció para un desayuno temprano en una mañana de lunes a viernes. Elección de mesas geniales más opciones de menú también. No esperó demasiado para la entrega de alimentos y las mesas pronto se llenaron de otros clientes. Un buen ambiente para el lugar, incluso en la mañana. Hay algunos elementos de menú interesantes para abrir el apetito y prepararlo para el día. El muesli Bircher con remolacha era increíble, dulce y delicioso. Del mismo modo, los huevos revueltos eran sofisticados y sabrosos. Servicio rápido. Una decepción: pedimos un jugo verde y estábamos ansiosos por probar esto. Nunca llegó, hola ho. No estaba en la factura, pero el resultado neto fue que perdimos la oportunidad de probarlo y Granger & Co perdió la venta. El servicio descuidado causó eso. Es una pena.

Ate here recently with family. We all had an excellent meal and although it is not the cheapest of restaurants it was pretty good value. The prawn starter and duck main course I had were superb and the vegan choices that the people I was with ate were also top quality. Very good service. Would certainly go back.
