Grandmas Kitchen in Bolton

Left my car at Autoglass and had a couple of hours to fill. Found this cafe on my maps and walked there, what a great place with a good menu! It was very busy which is testament to its good quality produce and very friendly & helpful staff. I enjoyed a full breakfast which came with fresh orange juice, it was excellent and good value. If I am in the area again I will definitely visit,

bsolutely LOVE Grandmas Kitchen. Get my usual bacon sandwich on their thick tiger bread and extra bacon and their tasty mini hash browns delivered to work once a week and it is always amazing and comes with a lovely little written note on the bag or receipt. Love it so much went this morning (Sunday) was chuffed when googled and it was open to order my usual.The cafe is so gorgeous with quality chunky wooden tables and it was packed out. They do oat milk too so ordered an oat milk mocha and it was piping hot and so good. The young lady who served me was so lovely. I am definitely going to be coming into the cafe again as today was to take away so next time sitting in and going to have a full breakfast as when I was waiting for my takeaway and peoples were being brought out they looked out of this world! Mega highly recommend this awesome place, I love it, as amazing top quality food cooked to perfection using quality ingredients.

Always a friendly welcome here. I used to drive past because I thought there was nowhere to park but there is lots of room at the back with an entrance to this little gem of a cafe. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent.

Had a take away breakfast barm. Only 2 small sausages on a large barm. Bland and boring. Not worth the money. Barely warm.

Had the full English. A little pricey but well worth it when you taste the quality of the bacon and sausages. Another to the list to visit more regularly

Grandma’s Kitchen served me today, they do not take card payments which is ridiculous these days, the breakfast was ok, bacon was gorgeous, sausages also gorgeous, black pudding exactly how I like it, egg was overcooked, the mushrooms not good whoever cooked them doesn’t know how to cook mushrooms, the toast was very nice, beans nice and I liked the beans in a pot. Plum tomato far nicer than half cut fresh tomatoes, the hash browns are the size of a dice and really needs a rethink. But the biggest issue for me was the payment method was bank transfer but half way through the breakfast I felt the need of another drink but it would have meant another bank transfer. Grandma’s Kitchen is still a young business, I’m sure they will improve, the prices are out of context for the area.

Visited at 12.30pm on Sunday, 1 1/2 hours before closing according to google. Server did not speak to us so we had to ask where we can sit. Sat down, for 10 mins with no menu. Went to counter and asked for menu, which we were given. There were only full English and breakfast wraps on the menu. We then decided what we wanted and went to order. A young girl served us and then a women shouted from the back that we can’t have a meal and only a barm. The same server who gave us a seat reiterated that we couldn’t have a meal. It would have been nice if we were told this when we entered and not after sitting picking our meals, especially with two young very hungry children. I won’t be returning unfortunately.

Despite searching for 15 minutes to find website or menu I gave up. Lots of fancy photos but nothing no prices or proper website for information.
