We had a lovely meal here. My daughter visits regularly with my mum and they recommended it. Food was cooked in good time and tasted lovely. It does get very busy though, so worth arriving early.

Ate out here whilst visiting the rare breeds farm. It was basic fare but reasonably priced. Only criticism would be that the options for children and vegetarians could have been healthier and more varied

Absolutely lovely food, cooked fresh and good portions, clean and plenty of choice. A little bit expensive but worth it.

Had a lovely meal here at a reasonable price compared to some places. A lot of the food used is locally sourced and some even produced on site as the restaurant is attached to the Rare Breeds Centre.

Recomendado!

We went to the restaurant first where they tried to serve my wife a half-cooked pork burger. The manageress tried to insist it was fine. My wife is a quality manager and technical auditor in the food industry with over 20 years of experience, I've been in food for 33 years and am a quality assessor in the meat business. The middle of that burger WAS raw!

Simple food, menu has halved since last time we went and no longer do their tasty roast dinners. Burgers, Sandwiches, all day breakfast and a couple of daily specials at around £6.95 for an adult meal. Children's menu is good and there is a little play area and in ground paddling pool.

The choice of food here for the childrens party is very good. I think there were 6 different options for the children to choose from. There was three types of squash provided and it was being topped up lots of times during our visit.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Tables very unclean but I suppose it is expected in a place so busy. Staff friendly and will be returning again when near.

The granary restaurant staff went out of their way to lay on a really lovely tea party for my four year old and our friends and family. There was plenty of food, fancy cupcakes, all freshly made, kids face masks on the table which they loved, party bags and balloons. It was great value for money and we were treated very well. (See rare breeds centre review). We were very impressed and would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for making it such a success!

Whilst visiting the Rare Breeds Park, we stopped here for Lunch. Good basic menu for Adults and Kids alike and quite reasonably priced for this sort of place. The staff are friendly however it was not that busy but alot of tables were left uncleared. Other than that it was nice

I was most disappointed by the staff in the Granary and found them to be rather rude. There always appear to be a few staff members just standing slightly inside the entrance to the Granary, and they don't do anything but stare at one as one enters, which is most disconcerting. I think the staff in the restaurant could make much more of an effort.

I would like to review the restaurant and have eaten here a few times mostly for Sunday lunch. The lunch is more of a self service really. You queue up with your tray and your roast is sliced up in front of you and then everything else is placed on your plate. The food is all locally sourced and very delicious. On the first Sunday of the month they have Pudding day and have a good selection of steamed puds, crumbles, etc, all homemade. The staff are lovely and a lot of the staff are made up of young people with learning difficulties and are so helpful. If you are a family with children it is ideal as during warm weather there is also an outside area with sandpit, etc for the children.I think the only glitch is the fact that it can get very crowded and it definately isn't a quiet meal but its worth the vist for the food.
