As an islander I love getting a sandwich & a cake and sitting eating watching the world go by! Great sandwiches & cakes - especially the buttercream split doughnuts. Good prices too with friendly staff, what’s not to like ❤️

I bought a graces Viennese finger from local shop. I love Viennese fingers most of the time they look amazing but are very disappointing, dry not enough filling and nasty chocolate. This one was looking a bit worse for ware as the chocolate was melting. But from experience it looked promising, well I'm glad I'm not local because this was the best Viennese finger I've ever had. Lovely creamy filling, the biscuits were melt in the mouth and the chocolate was just right (if melted) plain and the right amount. Delicious.

Croissants and pastries not fresh - very disappointing. Bread now all pre-cut whereas before it was cut fresh in shop. Not a great experience.

Bought bread in Grace's Yarmouth which was good. However, I bought cakes which were disappointing. I looked at a Devonshire Split and asked if it was fresh cream. The person serving said no, it was synthetic cream, so I bought one. When I got back to our holiday cottage and went to eat the Devonshire Split I found it was filled with buttercream. If the person at the shop had told me this I would not have bought it, as I don't like buttercream. Does she know the difference? The staff were quite miserable, certainly not friendly.

Coffee tasted burnt and undrinkable. We threw it out. The pastries were ok - not great but ok. Adjacent to the ferry queue so very convenient. The bread etc in the shop looked super and it seemed that lots of people were buying that - locals maybe?

Popped in for a take out lunch when waiting for the ferry. Food was great but the staff were brilliant. A lady came into the shop & was having a diabetic episode. The staff realised she had a problem & made sure she was looked after. One even left the shop after she had left to make sure she was okay.

Popped in to Grace's when we landed off the ferry and popped back in after our holiday. Staff happy, helpful, bread and cakes that we bought were nice. I could not finish my bath bun it was so big. The white tin loaf was lovely and we had it cut for us, they do warn you when you ask for it cut the slices are thin, so you have the option to say not we went for it and it was absolutely fine.

A wide range of cakes and an equally wide range of savoury products. Great value I found when the lovely girl serving told me that if I added a can to my cake and sandwich then I would ACTUALLY reduce the overall price! Food was excellent too.

A friend who was due to visit me bought me a loaf of wholemeal bread as I struggle to get out. I am aware that prices have gone up but £3.50 for a loaf that had been sliced at an extra cost of 5p! 4 of the slices had huge holes in and unusable for toast or sandwiches.Yes it is a very tasty loaf but in my opinion not as good as supermarket best quality bread. Disappointed

A lovely bakery! Definitely worth a visit for lunch, especially for their Vegan/Vegetarian options! I was really impressed by their large range of vegan food - both sweet and savoury. The staff were lovely and very helpful - when we’re in Yarmouth again we will definitely stop by!

I pulled up to Yarmouth bakery this morning on my way to work & I was very disappointed by the reception from the staff member. The doors were open but a blackboard was across the door way. I asked the staff member if they were open when they were open? (as it was after the opening time stated on the door ) she did not look at me & said 'No' & walked past me towards the counter. To which I said 'do you know when you will be open?' She replied 'just when we are ready'!!!!! Such a shame because Grace's make great cakes & I often call by..... I will not be so keen in the future

I visit the island frequently as I’m a truck driver who makes deliveries across the island. My company always books my return on the Yarmouth to Lyminington White Link Ferry. On every occasion if I get five minutes to grab breakfast at Graces Bakery before boarding. They do an amazing meal deal for £4.50 which consists of any sandwich or roll ( I always opt for the hot bacon and sausage) any cake and any hot drink) as well as an array of fantastic loaves cakes and preserves. A visit here is an absolute and definite must.

We visited Grace's today and bought two meal deals. The girl who served us was one of the rudest shop assistants I've ever encountered.......she definitely didn't go to 'Charm School'!! The bread on my cheese and onion sandwich was dry and stale although the use by date was today 2/4/ 2022. The bread on the other sandwich which was chicken mayo use by date 4/4/2022 was also dry but not as stale as the other one. I returned the cheese and onion sandwich and was offered a stale roll to replace it. I asked for a refund instead. The cakes that were part of the meal deal were also stale........God knows how old they were. Grace's Bakery is definitely the place to avoid when visiting Yarmouth!!

We enjoyed a visit to the botanical gardens & decided to stop in to their cafe /restaurant for a bite to eat I must say that the views were stunning looking out onto the gardens , we were lucky enough to get a table on the veranda where a local choir were singing & it made our day The food menu is quite limited but there were a nice selection of cakes available & lots of unusual teas too The food we did order was delicious .. but they were small portions for the price ( I must admit it was one our most expensive eats while on the isle of wight!) All in all a great setting to enjoy a cup of tea & drink but maybe wouldn’t go back for food
