Top of the main street up from the front a welcome break after the hill. Good quality coffee and cake with friendly efficient service. Reasonably priced.

Whilst on holiday in Ryde we ordered a range of baked goods for delivery to our cottage. The products were delivered on time and were delicious. Every product was perfect and of very high quality I cannot wait to have a return visit to the island to sample more wonderful sweety goods from Grace's bakery

We came here early for coffee and cakes, both of which were delicious. Ended up picking up supplies for our trip back as everything looked so good it was impossible to resist. Coffee and cakes for both of us came to just under £10, which is brilliant value for the location as well as the quality. Staff were friendly too, despite it being early on a slightly miserable morning. Highly recommend.

Wightlink ferries rob you blind for their Isle of Wight crossing but my calm was restored by the sandwiches on sale in the cafeteria. I made a note of the suppliers because they deserve a pat on the back. Generous filling and wonderful bread. So delicious I almost booked another £230 return trip, almost! Well done Grace's Bakery.

Grace's offers delivery service which we took advantage of for a birthday weekend treat. We ordered a selection of IOW cheeses, butter, coffee and jam, croissants, pasties, sausage rolls and donuts. Everything was fresh and fantastic quality. The delivery was as scheduled and made with a smile. Highly recommend - make sure to plan ahead for delivery cut-offs.

I have to say that your mince pies this year were very disappointing.....just a scrape of filling between two stodgy pastry slabs. Won't be buying then again from pa's history yours were always the best, but this year supermarket ones are much better.

We called in for a coffee and pastie lunch - but received a VERY blunt and, frankly, rude welcome. Why we didn't leave at that stage we're not sure, but we stayed for a reasonable coffee and a pretty bland cheese and onion pasty

Popped in at lunch time for Tea and a scone, however, when you see whats on offer I changed my mind and settled for a doughnut and fruit tart. The doughnut was as fresh as could be and I would say soft and light, probably the best I have tasted. The fruit tart I had experienced in Minorca and I can say yes made to perfection. if I lived here the temptation would be too great to pop in every day. The young lady who served us told us that it was baked just there pointing to a door at the back of the shop unit so airmiles two steps. If you don't want a sandwich or meal at lunch time but just a little something to fill the gap pop in and be tempted by the various cakes and a cuppa to wash it down.

I wanted to purchase two ‘meal deals’ which the poster stated included a roll, drink and a cake. However, when I went to order my roll cake and a drink the older woman who worked there snapped at me saying, ‘ it states on the poster that it doesn’t include hot drinks!’ I was quite taken aback by this. A customer who was stood next to me whispered that it doesn’t say that. So I looked at the poster again and no it didn’t. I pointed this out to the member of staff and she became rather irate and argumentative! I asked for her name and said I would tell her manager and she retorted good! Put me off going there again.

I came in here on a couple of occasions, it is expensive, but that is the cost of local produce! My issues came when i was being served and a larger older man walked from the back area, walked behind the counter and started talking to the server, at no point did he make any attempt to address me, he just walked back and spoke to a staff member for about 2 minutes, made himself a hot drink and left. RUDE!

When we arrived there was a queue out the door but was fast moving. We sat in the small indoor cafe seating area. Amazingly huge selection of cakes and pastries. Some were ginormous!! Latte was gorgeous! Also do yummy looking bread and sandwiches. Served by very friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Would recommend and come here again.

My tastes are very simple. And I'm fed up with paying silly money for overpriced takeaways. I've been to Grace's in Ryde and especially Cowes (where the service is fast and friendly) and their rolls and sandwiches and cakes are fine. Bought two rolls - one crusty white with proper sliced cheddar instead of the awful and all too common grated version, and sliced tomato. It was perfect and delicious as was my wife's egg (loads) and cress in a well baked brown roll. Washed down by a good cup of tea. And we were very happy and couldn't ask for more. Each to their own. But I couldn't fault it.

I have only just visited Grace’s bakery couple of minutes ago, it was not our first visit however it will be the last. After I ordered my food I sat outside in the garden and just as my food came out so has three chefs. Two of them have looked at me and smiled and obviously acknowledged my eight month old daughter in her pushchair. Next thing I know all three of them were lighting up a cigarette and started smoking. They blatantly saw that I have a child with me! Yet didn’t care about having a fag only couple of metres away from us. How absolutely disgusting, rude and never mind unhygienic!

I was here for a cup of tea and a Bakewell tart on a cold January afternoon. It is a pleasant small outlet with limited basic seating. The tart was Ok but average as was the tea but I did not appreciate the hair on the spoon provided with the tea.

Everytime i get to have a look at Costa Newport Shropshire website, the thin that greets me on the Google listing is a review from trip adivsor and this is 10 - yes ten - years old!! It say it is" the worst Costa ever". I am a local elderly lady and I go down there 2-3 times a week. I go on my own. The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is warm and homely. The seats are comfortable and padded. It upsets me that Trip-Advisor can keep plugging this ten year old review. How dare they do this!! it is shocking. I havent dont a trip advisor review for 2-3 years, but I am fed up with this report. Please take it off.

Had a really lovely cosy lunch in here on a cool Autumn day. Really warm service and the food was enjoyable. Great location for looking out to sea.

It's very busy in the summer season, but it still manages to produce great food. In the winter, it's the one pub that is consistently open, no matter what the weather or footfall. Throughout the winter, there are special deals on meals, which are cooked to a very high standard. The staff are really friendly and helpful and if you want any changes to your meal, they are only too willing to help. If you come to Yarmouth pop in, you will be looked after and enjoy a lovely meal and beverage of your choice. The location is great, but the phone signal is very poor. You may have to walk up the peir.

We had a poor dining experience, one meal in particular, the stir fry chicken was very strange with slices of raw tomato and bottled silverside onions. The other meals were indifferent, chips not really hot, a real bugbear with me as it's something that's so easy to get right. They close tomorrow until March so were obviously just not that bothered and keen to get off home. It's a shame as it's an attractive venue with live music and a real nautical vibe.
