Verry bad service food is bad quality customer service verry bad by phone never go again this place anymore waste place

Grilled food is tasty, but unfortunately skills for customer service is bad, For me experience there was stressful, difficult to ask how I wished my food to be packed, Simple thing was upsetting one of the staff, he spoke to me with raised voice, which was intimidating , In my opinion they are too proud about themselves and their food, so no need to please anyone, Enough customers to keep them going on even with their attitude.🥴

The food was amazing, the chicken was surprisingly not smelly! The chips were nice and crispy, all the food was very warm! Pita bread tasted wonderful. I really like the food, this was a first for me and definitely going to come again! (By the way, Adal is a very cheerful person who is a great member of staff!)

They normally let you come in before telling you they're closed, despite coming in within their opening hours. Even when they're open the food is pretty poor and tasteless

honestly if you can get through the door you’re lucky. I’ve seen so many people turned away. Service is so bad, food quality is astonishing. If you’re waiting outside long enough you’ll get offered illegal substances. Avoid at all costs.

Looks like a regular "Kebab Shop" from the outside but I found the Shwarma more tender than many more expensive restaurants accompanied by fresh tasty salad and fresh bread. And a real sense that the staff genuinely care that you enjoy your food Will visit again with friends to try other dishes. There is an option to eat in but I think it is mostly for takeaway food.

Not sure some of the recent write ups are at all believable. I eat at two kebab houses in London - Marroush in Kensington and Gourmet in Colliers Wood. Gourmet is extremely good - I recommend the wings and fries with a side of Halloumi, plus they will make you a wonderful salad or Tabbouleh. Their garlic and chilli sauces are wonderful. I have eaten here for years and it is really excellent.

£9.50 for literally a handful of chips and one skewer of chicken. Embarrassing excuse for a kebab, will not be back. Terrible chips, very little salad, dry meat.

I paid £10 for this meal and thought it would be a decent meal! Should have gone to Aya down the road. The Kofta in this meal was so thin, and dry I am surprised they had the nerve to actually put it in the takeaway box. As soon as I picked up the box I mentioned to my friend that it felt quite light. The friend had decided on a Burger King instead of the Kebab House. They had the last laugh!! I thought I was being healthy and yes the meal was healthy because it was lacking any actually substance. Also they had torn the pitta apart and I only had 1 ply rather than the both sided! They had torn it in half and given me only one side!!!

It was not good idea to park my car and pop in to have Lebanese shawarma as supposed to be. End up have raw chewy lamb shawarma tasteless.. wings were ok but not to perfection. Staff are very rude, never met such attitude in anyLebanese shop in Edgware Road. Also the way they handle the food is as wordless.. just avoid it. Worst experience in a while.

After observing the two gentlemen working behind the counter with no PPE, not using sanitisers before or after serving people, taking cash and not washing their hands and straight away touching food, standing over the salads etc with no mask or even anything that would give me confidence that they are not going transmit a virus at a time where many customers are sceptical, I will never go back there again. Money before health I assume. Toying with the idea of eating the food, I threw it in the bin outside.

I bought a kebab wrap today. Which was raw. I called and the the men Did not understand me and where really rude. Then told me they are closed when they close at 12.30. Check your food before leaving this place

Just tried Gourmet Express for the first time after seeing the place for years growing up. After visiting two other places nearby I decided to try this place because Adam had a great personality, customer service And the price was perfect. Having just finished I am delighted with that last minute decision, food was good bang on and needed to be shared with the world. Cheers 🍻

This is one of my favourites. Probably the best grill in London. Slightly expensive as compared to your typical takeaways but trust me it is worth it. Highly recommended Chicken Wings and chips, Shish touk wrap and Kofta.

This small hidden gem is in the corner with few outside chairs and few inside table and chairs.. The food is really awesome.Have eaten so far 5 times. Chiken sheesh kebabs Chicken shawarma Chicken and chipa Wing and chips Mix grill all delicious... You get shwarma sandwiches with lots of sauces... The owner is really friendly and gives a fast service.. Go and try it You definitely enjoy it. Will be back for more

Esta es una salida de alimentos halal limpia y bien mantenida. La cocina es de comida rápida libanesa con ensalada fresca y saludable incluida en la mayoría de los platos de carne. Se recomienda el sharwaama ya que es sabroso con acompañamientos y salsas libanesas tradicionales. El kebab también es muy bueno, suave en especias pero bien condimentado.

First i had a kofte kebab, then chicken. Could not decide if the food or the friendly customer service was better. Fantastic experience!

En primer lugar, el lugar es muy compacto, mesas pequeñas, servicio básico.La comida: Me quedé asombrado, el plato de pollo a la parrilla con trozos de patatas fritas servido muy bien con 2 tipos de ensaladas frescas parecía increíble y sabía tan bien como parecía. Me gustaría tomar una foto ahora para publicar.El pollo estaba asado a la luz y era perfecto especialmente por el precio. Comida sabrosa, una pena que vivo en ninguna parte cerca de allí estaba visitando la zona, volvería!

Great tasting food, freshly cooked lots of choice. Love the whole chicken meal with salad good value. So glad I discovered this place.

La comida es muy buena, todo fresco y perfectamente condimentadas. La comida es siempre constante y las salsas son muy buenas, aunque últimamente se ha vuelto un poco tacaños. Sin embargo, el servicio puede variar dependiendo de cuando vayas. Simplemente ir solo por la comida y si el servicio no está a la altura, entonces simplemente grita ruidoso extra y una escena (esto funciona como un regalo) y ultra exigentes.

Excellent food, have been a few times and will continue to visit. Chicken Shawarma is the one! Garlic mayo and chilli. Happy with the service and speed, ideal for a weekend takeaway!

I always stop here when passing by. Portions are good. But there pricing is a bit of a joke. I mean £1 for a can of coke!! Anyway I usually go for the Chicken Shawarma or the Wings and Chips.

All of the food is very good, fresh always consistent and never disappoints.

El Gourmet Express es un lugar estupendo si te gusta la comida libanesa.

No es el mejor restaurante libanés que he estado en Londres pero buenas para ir una vez Las porciones son un poco pequeñas, así que ten cuidado si en un grupo ambiente agradable y en la calle principal, así que es fácil de localizar. Su hierba para probar, el personal es también muy amable .

Este lugar es el auténtico libanés. Me alegra en coche Londres a comer el pollo y cordero buceo con tubo respiratorio. el halloumi a la estupenda y tabbouleh también, siempre es un placer para visitar.

Questo posto è stato una vera scoperta! La qualità della carne è eccellente! Tenera e saporita! La grigliata mista migliore di tutti i tempi!!! Veramente da provare!!!

I have used this place for the last 2 years and it is always good and consistent. My fav dish is the mixed grill with rice and I love the spicy potatoes I just wish the Colliers Wood branch served the spicy potatoes.

My husband is half-Lebanese and we love this food but it's very labour-intensive to make so finding a good restaurant/takeout place was very important to us. After trying so many, and being disappointed by quite a few, this is seriously the best Lebanese food we've had in ages.We've been going there to eat in and take away for quite a few months now. The ingredients are great, always so fresh, the meats are cooked properly (as in not forgotten on the grill or burnt to death) and juicy on the inside, the seasoning on the shawarma is incredible (I can even taste the cinnamon and cloves, two ingredients my husband used to use a lot when cooking Lebanese but that no one else seems to use). Portion sizes are very generous and prices are great too.If you leave nearby then I definitely recommend you take away and eat at home as it can get crowded (and smoky) sometimes inside. I really love this place and I wish they did deliveries too!

Came here once after seeing people sneak food in the Pub from here, as far as kebabs go the one up the road in Colliers Wood is better. There's always shady looking people sat round eating in and I wouldn't describe this as a restaurant at all just a few tables and chairs or gourmet for that matter.

I came back to London after a couple of years and decided to get another takeaway from this place.The wings were just as delicious as last time. We also ordered the chicken shawarma and falafels this time. The falafels were freshly made in front of us and they were absolutely fantastic! I've had better shawarma's in my life but these were decent enough.It's a simple café so don't expect much but the food is lovely. If you want an upscale version of this place, just walk down a few steps to Aya. They are owned by the same people and offer proper dining.

If you are expecting the red carpet treatment you won't find it here. Instead enjoy tasty hot food prepared while you wait. The food is fantastic, especially the whole chicken. Not your average kebab shop.

They have bad attitudes and bad food. I ordered the mixed grill and it basically consisted of terrible tasting minced lamb skewers, not an equal selection of beef, chicken and lamb. When I inquired about why my mixed grill consisted essentially all lamb skewers, the man behind the counter was dismissive. Will not eat here again and do no recommend it. Took the koftas home to feed the cat.

I was introduced to this fabulous restaurant /take-away by my daughter who often frequents it and has become a regular supporter of their freshly prepared chicken and lamb kebabs.I was really impressed with the large portion and extra pita bread and humus starter we had.The staff is very friendly and extremely efficient considering the large number of customers waiting to be served.I also tried their kofte which was delicious and also served with a fresh salad.Good value for money,excellent service and friendly staff-sit down or take away!

This is a great little place in Colliers Wood serving home made Lebanese food. My sister goes here all the time. I ate the falafel (very good), chicken shawarma (I've had better elsewhere) and chicken wings. I have to tell you that the chicken wings were absolutely outstanding. They marinate the chicken wings and then grill them over charcoal. It takes around 20 minutes so you have to wait for the wings but well worth it. We wanted some hummus but they were already out of it. If you're in the area, go in for a little mezze and make sure you have the wings. They are very delicious.
