Excellent London restaurant, faithful to the tradition of Gordon Ramsay. Room a bit small. One regret: that the bill can only be paid by credit card unlike many star hotels of the same level

For being a 3 star Michelin restaurant, it is very bad. I have been to a lot of Michelin restaurants and most 1 star are far better than this one. Does not recommend it.

Been on the list for a while. The grande dame of London Michelin 3 star establishments. First off, the dining room is a bit strange... it's much smaller than I thought and difficult to describe the layout and atmosphere. The sommelier and food were both excellent though. Really enjoyed every course and the service was pitched just right.. not too fussy or rushed. We spent a long time here and as always went for the additional options and the pairing for good measure with a side bottle of champagne to keep things going. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Food and service impeccable and got a hello from Matt abé and he signed my book too. Atmosphere not great but the food is everything here.

Our first experience at a Michelin 3-star restaurant, and it was truly unforgettable! We chose the Carte Blanche menu (with the addition of the truffle pasta), and it surpassed all our expectations. The service, though, was the real standout—exceptional in every way. They even offered us the menu to take home as a keepsake, a wonderfully thoughtful gesture. Best three hours we have spent in a long time!

After so many years, it received three stars for the second time, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. The meal kits are delicious! Goat's milk butter is also a must-have main dish. The duck is cooked very well. But the overall meal was too salty. It felt saltier than Shandong cuisine in China. I drank water until midnight and my voice was hoarse when I woke up in the morning. The snacks after the meal are very average and not special. There is no special feeling of Samsung at all. The first time I came to this restaurant a few years ago, I thought it was average. After many years, it turned out to be average.

A warning: prices on the menus don't include VAT. Add the 15% service charge and the true price is 35% above the sticker price. If you're rich and don't care, more power to you. If you're saving up for this experience, keep this in mind. I love fine dining, so what better way to experience this than Restaurant Gordon Ramsay that has only had two years without its three Michelin stars. The short version is if you want to experience three Michelin stars and need to choose, go to The Fat Duck which is unique. Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is very good. Very, VERY good. But, and there is a big but, when you've been at the top of your game for this long, an incredible feat, no doubt, it does seem a bit formulaic. The service was wonderful, especially the lovely Italian girl whose name I cannot remember [sorry, if you're reading this! It was a month ago and I have internet memory. :_( ]. The atmosphere...well, I like a little bit more hustle and bustle. You could have heard a pin drop in there so when my friend and I were talking, we really kept our voices down. There was a birthday party opposite us of what looked like people in their early twenties (wow, I would never have been able to go here in my twenties!) who hardly made any noise. ¡Qué celebración! :-/ We went for the Carte Blanche menu where you leave it up to the chef for an additional price. Not sure if that was worth it, but overall the food was exemplary and cannot be faulted. The dishes are below. I would advise those serving the dishes to slow down when they're explaining them. I understand they have probably explained a dish a few thousand times, but this is our first time and sometimes I didn't catch what they said. I even had to ask them to repeat what they said a few times. Anyway, this is my best attempt translating what they said :-) : - Tomato Ashley with butter - Colchester oyster caused with oyster tempura side - Bread with nigella seasoned rosemary and lightly salted butter - Isle of Skye scallops - classic Ramsay. Loved it. - Brille with scallop mousse - unbelievable taste sensations. - Venison with side of shoulder of venison bun - cooked perfectly. - British treacle tart and Italian cheese gratin with honey - Fois Grais grape sorbet - Take on an After Eight, spearmint ice cream and dark chocolate - has to be one of the best desserts I have ever had. I love After Eights. - Salted caramel chocolate, strawberry and raspberry jelly, soufflé - to finish us off. :-) Definitely worth an experience. Loses a star because it's over priced IMO. The distance between the quality here and a one Michelin like Restaurant St. Barts is over double which is what the price point is. I think, actually, I prefer the one and two Michelins as they are not only better value, but they're working to get thier next star. Would I return? No. That was definitely a one and done. Unless someone else is paying. I have another 45 Michelin restaurants to visit in London and will be doing the one and two Michelin starred restaurants first.

Many excellent reviews on here - hard to fault the dining experience :) it’s delightful food in a very intimate dining room where you are very well looked after. We opted for the carte Blanche menu and had some excellent starters including a lovely scallop course as well as an oyster course. The Parker House Roll was delicious (I am partial to the bread)… as were the main fish and meat courses … the cheese course was included and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it (usually not a cheese course person). The dessert was the “after 8” mint and chocolate combo- which even for someone who is not an after 8 enthusiast was quite delicious … something about the creaminess of the mint cake! We did not opt for the pairing but left it to the sommerlier who picked out 3-4 glasses for us, which was an excellent pairing experience and good value. Overall, a great experience, which more than meets the high expectations… except perhaps if you want their famous tarte tatin to be added as an extra, there was a certain inflexibility (the a la carte menu wasn’t being offered)… guess will have to be back for that one!

I’ve dined at many fine dining establishments, and this is about my 8th time dining at the restaurant Gordon Ramsay but sadly, I felt the quality at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay has noticeably declined. As usual, I informed the restaurant well in advance that I am a pescatarian and do not consume meat. In the past, I’ve been offered suitable alternatives, such as fish or lobster. However, this time I was only given a vegetarian option on their vegetarian menu: spelt risotto. It was just a plate of risotto with no additional components, and to make matters worse, it was so heavily oversalted that both my guest and I found it nearly inedible. I left half of it on the plate, yet surprisingly, the server didn’t bother asking for feedback, despite inquiring about every other dish that was finished. At the end of the meal, I raised the issue and asked why no pescatarian options were offered other than the vegetarian dish. The response I received was, “The only fish we have is pre-prepared turbot with sausages, so if you’re pescatarian, you should have requested that in advance.” When I clarified that I had informed the restaurant well beforehand, the server replied, “Yes, so we gave you the vegetarian option.next time you should email us and specify that you want a fish for your main course.” Honestly what sort of response was that.. Frankly, this was not only dismissive but also unacceptable. I had clearly notified the restaurant multiple times about my dietary preference, yet there was no proper substitute for the meat-based courses — no fish, no lobster, no prawns, nothing. For a restaurant of this caliber, especially one with three Michelin stars, this lack of accommodation was deeply disappointing and well below the standard I expected. To make matters worse, I overheard a neighboring table mention that their favorite dish of the night was the grape sorbet — a dessert. It’s disheartening to think that out of seven courses, the highlight of their evening at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay was a simple sorbet. This only underscores the overall lackluster experience, both in terms of culinary creativity and service. If you’re seeking a true fine dining experience, I would honestly recommend The Ledbury, which offers far superior food, creativity, and hospitality. This evening, I had brought a friend who flew in from overseas, eager to experience the highly regarded Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. Unfortunately, we both left feeling hungry, underwhelmed by an uninspired menu and inattentive service. For a restaurant with such a prestigious reputation, it simply did not meet expectations. Frankly, it was not worth it. If you’re still considering dining here, The prestige menu might provide slightly better value other than the ‘Surprise Menu’, but honestly, for the same price, I would strongly recommend The Ledbury or if you are happy to spend more, I do recommend The Fat Duck for a more luxurious experience. Both will offer far superior food and a much more memorable dining experience. Ps. Sommeliers there are nice though and very attentive. All the rest of waiters and Waitrose need more trainings. Honesty they are just a bit ‘meh’

Dining at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in London was an experience unlike any other. The service was, hands down, the best I have ever had at any restaurant. The staff was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a perfect evening. The restaurant and the food were excellent, as expected for the price. The starters, main courses, and especially the TARTE TATIN!!! (Highly recommended to order) were fantastic. We had high expectations, and they were met in almost every way. The only downside was the service from the person in charge of the wine. We felt intimidated, as it seemed like he didn’t want to serve us and wasn’t hospitable at all. This attitude was present from the moment we arrived until we left. We chose not to do the wine pairing, and when we selected what to drink, he neither made any recommendations nor gave his opinion on our choices. The rest of the staff was very friendly and did an excellent job. They treated us wonderfully, even though we were the last customers to leave.

We came here to celebrate my father’s 73rd birthday as we are visiting from NYC and have never been. Unfortunately, despite the food being a nice experience, we experienced sub par customer / client service. Our family friend had booked the reservation and made a 900£ deposit for the 7 of us. Sadly his flight was cancelled and he wasn’t able to get on a flight out of JFK on time, so he was going to miss dinner. The 6 of us still went, but they refused to refund him for his seat even though they knew of his flight debacle. All this aside, we spent over 4000£ for our dinner and they overcharged us for a coffee on the dessert course (we had 4 coffees and 2 teas, but they charged us for 5 coffees). We mentioned that this 1 coffee was an overcharge, and they flat out told us their charge was correct and we were wrong. At this point, it clearly isn’t about the money because we are happy to come here and spend, but it is the principle of the situation. We have dined at Sketch, 11 Madison, Daniel, Per Se, Alinea, Le Bernardin, Robuchon, Masa, French Laundry, Mugaritz, Arzak, Amelia, DiverXO, Noma, Amador, every Jean-Georges, on & on… it’s not like we don’t understand a good dining experience, and I can say that I have never experienced such horrible behavior from a hospitality group. Truly shocking, and therefore I have be no choice but to leave a 2 star review despite the decent meal we had. We won’t be returning.

A beautiful experience. We arrived right at open and the service was incredible to start but slowly dialed back as the restaurant filled up. At times this meant we had dirty dishes in front of us for a good while. So we went from being astonished to slightly disappointed when we had our expectations set as one thing and saw it devolve over time. The food itself was excellent with one dish in particular being arguably the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. If I had a critique it was a blue cheese desert at the end that neither of us liked and couldn’t bother to try more than one bite- they should get rid of that dish completely. If you abstain from alcohol, you’ll enjoy the Non-alcoholic pairings for your dinner, though there was an over reliance on vinegars. For those who enjoy alcohol, the wine pairing was great! And at the end they even allowed me the fun of piecing together my own desert wine flight which did not disappoint. Lastly, I’ll comment that the flatware was gorgeous and there was a course where we got to select our knife from their collection. A lot of fun. Overall an excellent experience and I’d love to come back.

Michelin, perhaps you should revisit Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, UK and evaluate your star ranking again. French cuisine used to be my favourite, my son used to have high respect for Gordon Ramsay, and our trust on Michelin star used to be solid. And this restaurant managed to destroy it all. Michelin three star should be worthy to travel for it and that exactly is what we did. I had their prestige menu and my son carte blanche to try all they had. It was a strong struggle to finish the course, some dish was lower than average, some dish plain average that any chef or even a cook can do, and one I almost spit it out on the napkin. Finished and did not return any dishes and shoved it in as a respect for the kind servers and more, for my effort, time and money I spent. Perhaps chef had a bad day, perhaps menu was design to pair up with wine( we did not chose pairing, since it was our first time there and wanted to try the menu purely first), perhaps it is not french but modern british( if so will not visit modern british restaurant again). However I try to justify it so I will not be a fool for spending my time and money there, the bottom line is, I should not struggle to find a reason to justify this big disapointment. I was just thankful for v60 coffee (which servers said good but in my taste just ok coffee) to get rid off my previous 2hr and 30min of taste experience in this restaurant. My review can be harsh but that is due to that much degree of disappointment and sadness I experienced from this restsurant which motivated me to write my very first review on a restaurant. I felt sad for the friendly servers who prepared a b day card for my son. Even the petite piece of b cake by chef which I should appreciate for the jesture was a disappointment. (FYI they do not serve all menu mentioned under a la carte on their website just prestige and carte blanche.) If there was minus star on google review I would give minus five star out of minus five star.

We came here a few years ago but have never once thought about returning. The striking impression we’ve got is that they are only interested in milking off their 3-star glory. Food was so mediocre. We have since moved on to the likes of The Square (no longer in business), Ledbury, Clove Club etc. The Scottish chef at Clove Club really wanted to make his food taste good, even though 1-star only. Respect. That is surprisingly a rare feat as so many 3-star restaurants ended up focusing on gimmicks, while ‘forgetting’ food should first taste good, like you want to take another bite after a bite.

This was such a fun experience to share with our kids. Our family is on holiday from the states. When a reservation became available for Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, we stopped everything we were doing and booked a table for this evening. We had to call ahead and make sure it was okay to book because we didn’t pack any clothing we deemed appropriate. 😂 But they were so gracious and assured us we would be okay. They wined and dined us for 3 straight hours and let me tell you, I now fully appreciate and understand all that those 3 Michelin stars represent. As a mom, it was beautiful letting someone else take over for the evening. My husband kept asking if I was okay and I had to tell him that I had turned off my brain and he needed to please be quiet and let me enjoy it off. 😂 When we finished they graciously offered to let us tour the kitchen and meet head chef Matt Abe. They were so wonderful with our 8 year old son and even allowed him to pay the check. PS the cheeky kids told them their dessert was only a 9.5/10. When asked why he said it was because the ice cream portion wasn’t big enough. 😂 They promised to take it under advisement.

Not sure if this iconic London establishment of fine dining needs any reviews. It’s iconic for some reason and has 3 Michelin stars which is the highest accolades given to any restaurant. Everything was excellent and service was exceptional. The one of the good things was suggesting a shorter wine pairing with the menu which was a great idea by the sommelier. The meal was delicious and all courses were exceptionally made and explained to us. We all went for Carte Blanche menu and the pictures are of all the courses of Carte Blanche. It is a great place for special occasions and we were celebrating a good friend’s birthday. Overall Verdict 5/5 Budget - no limits here

I visited the other day. Everything became the worst memory. I had high expectations given the three-star rating and the big name Gordon Ramsay. The amount of food is small and the taste is average. The service is also very bad, sometimes even throwing plates at you. To be honest, the only person who greeted me was the receptionist who provided excellent service. I sat by the window, The draft was so strong that I was freezing. There were insects flying around in the store, so it wasn't a very relaxing time. Above all, there was no send-off after payment. Please feel free to go home! With that kind of attitude, I was not satisfied with anything until the end. I paid about 400 £ per person. I don't want to go even for 100 £. I won’t comment on the dishes and the wine pairing the chef chose for the Carte Blanche menu; those are very subjective topics, in my opinion. However, some significant details are worth mentioning: 1. I chose the last seating with the hope of finding a “relaxed” service, but that was not the case. The cutlery clattered against each other when they were changed (to say they were thrown onto the table would not be an exaggeration), which made it difficult for me to feel comfortable. 2. I am used to tourist-trap restaurants offering the classic daily special, generally aiming to charge for a truffle or lobster or something that justifies increasing the bill. Usually, a single refusal is enough for them to stop pushing the “special.” In this case, I had to repeat three times that we didn’t want it (it was a truffle addition, by the way). The worst part was mentioning the price out loud in front of my guests. 3. It is common to find Michelin-starred restaurants with a bar and a few seats, or even almost like street food, but in Gordon Ramsay’s flagship, you would expect at least not having to stand up for one of your guests to go to the restroom. It is understandable that they want to place as many tables as possible, but I think they went too far! We felt claustrophobic at a small table pressed against a wall. With all due respect, I would like to suggest to the Michelin guide that this is not a restaurant worth making a trip to dine at. Perhaps, if it’s on your way, it might be worth a visit.

My wife and I traveled to the UK for our honeymoon and decided to make Restaurant Gordon Ramsay our celebratory dinner. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by their friendly and very helpful staff. We both ordered different things to taste a little bit of everything. My wife ordered the scallops for her starter while I ordered the ravioli. Both were delicious and set the expectations for the flavor profiles we were about to experience. For entrée, my wife ordered the cornish turbot and I had the Cumbrian blue gray. Her fish was so moist and flavorful. The blue gray was exquisite with the black garlic. The mushrooms alone on my plate could of been the highlight of any other meal. We did order and try the cheese before dessert but they were a bit too funky for our taste. For dessert we ordered the pecan praline and the strawberries and creme. Both were very good and not too sweet for my tastes (I don't really have a sweet tooth so it was right up my alley). The service was over the top with the staff constantly checking in and making sure everything was taken care of (they even go as far as to make sure you don't pour yourself your own water.... sorry about that haha). As we didn't have time during our wedding to finish our meals, thank you everyone who works there for making our celebratory wedding dinner one to remember forever.

For our honeymoon in Europe, we visited a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in our first city, London, to experience its fine dining. With high expectations given its Michelin 3-star rating, we found that while the interior wasn't large, it provided a cozy dining experience with moderate noise levels. We ordered the restaurant's signature menu Carte Blanche. However, while eating the seafood dish, I bit into shells twice and mentioned this to the staff. It was disappointing to see such a lack of preparation in a Michelin 3-star restaurant. The restaurant offered us complimentary wine to make up for it. But when we received the bill after our meal, we were charged for the supposedly free wine. If we hadn't checked the bill, we would have paid for the disappointing meal and an unordered wine. Whether it was a lack of communication among the staff or they were trying to take advantage of us, this restaurant seems undeserving of its Michelin 3-star title.

We did the Inspiration table and the food was excellent and explained beautifully. We also did the wine pairing, and enjoyed it, but the cost was as much as the dinner and very overpriced. I give low marks for the location of the table being very awkward. It was in the vestibule between the front door, the bathroom door, the service bar door and the kitchen door. Basically it was a flurry of employees, no more than 5 feet and all around us serving, clearing, and hosting as well as all the patrons going to the bathroom. Honestly, it felt like we were sitting next to a kitchen door at a full and large restaurant- it really brought down the experience especially when you consider the cost. At the end of the evening we were also unable to get the check, and finally flagged down an employee. There seemed to be some issue because it took 15 minutes and 4 employees (again 5 feet from us) to figure it out and had still not cleared the empty cups or asked us if we wanted anything else. Some of the service was excellent but not in every aspect, so this is the reason for my middle-rating. For the Michelin rating and costs, we really expected more. It was still a nice experience, but we won’t seek this out next time we come to London.

I've never eating in the resturant but I recently watched a restaurant review video where someone ordered a salad and there was an Aphid insect on there (little green insect) I would have expected a resturant of this price and calibre would have had high hygiene standards. Gordon Ramsay would have not accepted this given that this is his first restaurant. I suggest that all salad is washed thoroughly and examined for bugs and little insects before being sent out to the customer.

Our expectations were understandably very high given that this is a 3 star restaurant, with a price level to match. The food was beautifully presented and there was some good classic cooking with subtle flavour combinations, the lobster ravioli was a highlight. The beef was surprisingly poor, tough and lacking the depth of flavour that should be evident on 100 day aged meat. We did mention this and received the sort of response we would expect from a chain restaurant “I’ll let the kitchen know”! On the whole the food felt a little tired, nothing really stood out, nothing was exceptional or particularly memorable - we definitely expected more. The service was very efficient but again seemed flat, no one seemed passionate about what they were serving, there was very little description of the courses and there seemed to be no real connection between the servers and the food. We enjoyed the wine pairing which was well chosen. Overall this did not compare favourably to other 3 star restaurants.

Visited in 2019, Food: Food was excellent, but it’s very British taste in some dishes which makes it’s bland. The dessert was very very delicious tho. (The caramelized apple tarte). Service: Felt a bit inferior of service from staff compared to other table who are white. (they way they explained about food are more attention aka long, detail, answered questions with smile, prompt to serve without asking) But it’s totally understandable cuz the old Chinese ppl there were speaking really really loud. I meant, we are Asian, we got annoyed on this kind of manner too cuz they were typically loud. Plus we always got treated the same anyway by the appearance. Atmosphere: Due to those Chinese table, the mood were ruined by their noise, i think they should put a sign like picture of ppl speaking with description to lower the voice.

Perhaps the greatest restaurant on earth. Staff are friendly and knowledgable unlike a lot of high-end restaurants they are very passionate about what they do and are excited to share their knowledge of everything. Me and my partner don't drink so they came up with the most amazing non-alcholic wine pairing for the meal. The food of course was of course was the highlight, every dish was unique and some of the best sensory experiences.

We were expecting extraordinary flavors but we were disappointed.. Now I can just review the vegetarian tasting menu and not the options available but as I read other reviews as well it is very clear that it is the same case with all their courses.. Expensive ingredients were not pairing well with the rest of the dish and because of that the whole dish tasted mediocre.. For Example white asparagus imported from france was completely bland was not going well with sauce.. We went with non alcoholic pairings and it was the same case with drinks as well nothing special.. Service is top notch and I would say only and only service deserves 3 stars..

Dissapointed, underwhelming food, plain and bland for a restaurant of this caliber and this price. Way overpriced and service a little overwhelming. The lady in charge of taking the orders in the very small restaurant space, (. 20 waiters going around like crazy around the 300 sq ft space, the chef’s table in the middle of the foyer right next to the restrooms is just ridiculous) your table was border line rude, serious and putting pressure on us through out the meal. We went with our pre teen daughters for her birthday celebration and the food and experience ( it is not worth the $ 1300 pounds we spent. We have been to many michelin stars restaurants through out Europe and US *,**,*** in Italy, France, Spain and this have have been by far the worst food and service ever.

Perfect lunch, wonderful experience, expectations were not disappointed. The place is small and welcoming, very elegant and classic both in furnishings and in the mise en place. The level of the dishes presented by the patron chef Matt Abé is excellent, the menu we chose, for the first time at Gordon Ramsay, represents classic French cuisine. The service led by the general manager Enrico Baronetto and all the staff was also excellent, they moved between the tables like butterflies, efficient and never intrusive. I recommend the experience, obviously the cost is demanding, but being a three Michelin star restaurant, it is not excessive.

Our least favorite meal in London so far. Not even worth 1 Michelin star in our opinion. Dishes are tired and unimaginative like the decor. No atmosphere. Only saving grace was an excellent and attentive wait staff. Had high hopes coming in but would recommend you passing on this one.

We had booked the Inspiration table at this iconic restaurant and our experience was quite mixed. Starting with the positives, the food was outstanding and not one of the dishes fell short of expectations (which is very rare even at this level of restaurants). The young pastry chef who explained our dishes to us made our evening! Sorry we can’t remember your name - we dined here on March 22nd so hope that is enough to get you the credit you deserve! She explained every dish in a very professional but engaging manner and was a joy to chat to. On to the negatives, the table we had was not in the main dining room (I assume as we had a chef explaining the dishes to us?) but it meant we were the only diners in what looked like the ante-chamber and we felt a bit in the way of the staff. The other issue we had was the wine pairing. First of all the menu stated that the wine pairing would be personalised and that the sommelier would come talk to us to understand our preferences but nobody came to talk to us which is very disappointing when expectations were built up. When we got our wines we got only the briefest of descriptions - name of the wine and winemaker and despite us trying to engage and ask some questions we didn’t get much more engagement. It feels very disappointing given the price tag of the pairing. The wines themselves were really nice so no complaints there but given the reputation of the restaurant we were quite disappointed.

Honestly our favourite 3 star Michelin in London. We had reservations reading some mixed reviews but the negative posts are either lies or they had a very unlucky experience. The set menu was absolutely delicious and the wine pairing exceptional! The service from all the team was incredible and they took care of every detail. We can not wait to go back!

This is the celebrity chef's namesake 3 Michelin star flagship restaurant in Chelsea. To say the food here is amazing is probably an understatement. The small dining room means the place gets booked really fast. The decor is a bit dated but then you are not here to admire the wall panels. It's the stuff in your plate that shines brighter than even the little table lights. The soufflé is a must-try even if it's not usually on the tasting menu.

I can't afford this place. But luckily we met up with my parents in Chester to hand off our kids on our way to Italy (we're from Canada). They offered to take my son and I for a culinary experience (2019). My son watches Masterchef religiously. For months, all he could talk about was that he was going to eat at Chef Ramsay's restaurant. The staff was very accommodating as my son has food allergies. They were in communication weeks before we showed up, and it was greatly appreciated. Ben (my son), had researched his meal, and knew before showing up that he was getting the lobster ravioli. Unfortunately, they ran out that night, and it was the most heartbreaking thing ever to see him hold back tears as he put on a brave face as to not ruin the experience (he was 11). He had the lobster tail (my mother takes the masterclasses, and made him some when we returned home). The Michelin stars are fully earned. The service is immaculate. The food was heavenly. If you are looking for an amazing culinary experience, this is it. I lack the culinary expertise to describe the meal, or what it meant to my kid to experience this. All I can attempt to say is that the food was elevated to a level I had never known possible (and I love eating). A few gentlemen were doing business at the next table, and I was almost insulted for the chef. What was put on our plates deserved our full attention and appreciation. I can only hope to return, some day, and experience this level of gastronomy. My son still talks about it with a twinkle in his eye. Fully worth the price if you can afford it. Never have I had a meal where the same ingredients were raised to such a level. It bordered on religious.

I disagree with people when you don't know where you want to go. I was here in 2023 and will visit again in 2024. You have to be clear that even the very upscale cuisine doesn't always hit the spot. But here people talk as if they were behind the stove themselves. Cook what the crew is supposed to do behind the scenes. Wearing the clothes of the service should probably reflect what characterizes the house. I think it's great. Just because you travel around the world and think you know how to eat...because you stay in star restaurants/hotels, you're not a professional...

My expectations were so high for this restaurant and I was really disappointed. Having been to many of Ramsay’s restaurants this was on our list to visit and I left full but very underwhelmed. Only tasting menus were available so we opted for the prestige. The only items that blew me away was the lobster ravioli and the truffle cappuccino but the rest of the courses I didn’t finish. The fish course was so overpowered by lemon it just wasn’t enjoyable. All the extras were great, the bread and amuse-Bouche. The presentation amazing and the service was 5* as you would expect but atmosphere lacking. In such a small intimate restaurant being seated right next to the only other 2 occupied tables felt uncomfortable so we asked to move. Taste wise the food was really disappointing for the cost (£650 for two people with one bottle of wine and water) not an experience I felt was worth it.

In short it was one of the best meals I've had. I wouldn't really fault anything everything was cooked well, every single course was delicious and the staff were really friendly without it feeling too forced and stuffy like some 2 and 3 Michelin places. I've read some reviews saying the ambience isn't great, the room is small, the flavours are quite traditional. I think there's truth to that but overall 1. Everything I ate was perfectly cooked and well balanced and delicious. 2. The staff were really nice and easy to chat to and have fun with and that was really important for us as we were celebrating my friends 30th 3. Its very fancy and feels special and I had huge expectations having wanted to go for years, having trained and worked as a chef and also having worked in a 3 Michelin myself and I wasn't disappointed one bit. It is expensive but it's not somewhere you're going to be every week (or most of us at least) and I would definitely recommend it.

Exemplary food and service. Issue with the ‘bread course’ honey on the bread was problematic as it necessitated a trip to wash hands after breaking bread. Otherwise impeccable. Wine pairings were exceptional. Lastly I’d suggest the choice of textured cutlery, in particular sauce and tea spoons was not best as the texture did not compliment the food being tasted.

We had a very pleasant lunch at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. The service was very attentive, a little too attentive at times with glasses and dishes being whisked away the second one had finished. The food was very tasty, the scallops in particular were delicious. A recurring theme with classic French cooking seems to be an absolute dearth of vegetables which I always find a bit disappointing as an omnivore. The setting felt slightly like a small conference room in a hotel, no decoration to speak of. Perhaps I am missing something and the message is that the food speaks for itself. Tables were very close to each other. On the whole we did really enjoy the lunch but probably wouldn’t rush back.

This was our fifth visit to the restaurant and the food didn’t disappoint. It was exquisite. Nor, in fact did the pairing wine. Perfect. The service was also impeccable. We had a fabulous time as we celebrated my birthday, and I had been looking forward to it for months. However, for the first time when the bill arrived we were all utterly shocked. We have never paid such a ridiculously massive bill. Cost of living prices have gone up and beyond, but we all felt as if we had been totally taken for a ride…. It will be a very long time before we return. Such a shame as I promised the family a visit post Christmas. And it spoiled the whole event.

Three star cooking w a caveat. One star ambience. Quality of cooking is definitely three Michelin star worthy. But, its choice of ingredients is questionable - served an English sparking wine when I asked for Blanc de Blanc, white truffle comes from Croatia. One Michelin star ambience - too many tables for the space. Silverware doesn’t match the setting - too traditional. Texturized spoon affected feel of the food when I put into my mouth. And, I was literally elbow to elbow with the next table. There are quite a few celebrity chasers who’re too noisy and improper. For me, happy to try the most famous British chef of the land. But, I won’t be back

A fine-dining experience that is connected with such a big name, puts the bar very high. Unfortunately, it was not met. The atmosphere is blank and the dining room is small. We wanted the full experience and decided on the cart blanche menu. Every dish was simple ok, not exceptional. And due to the large amount of staff, you feel you are in a machine that simply follows it ways of working. No ambiance or decor to speak of. The food is excellent. We had the seven course tasting and there was too much food but all of it was great. The service is very lacking for a three star restaurant. We has the wine pairings and had four different people pour the wines with no explanation. The wait staff does not smile and are very robotic in serving the food.
