Fantastic roti canai dinner here. I’m a fan of Roti King, the original in Euston and the roti are my favourite. Very happy to say that the roti canai dishes are just as good (amazing) here - both of us were delighted. You still get to see them preparing the roti as well!

Authentic Malaysian food! So good. Can’t fault it. Tried a number of classic dishes - roti, laksa, beef rendeng… - and all were tasty and on point!

If you're fed up queueing at Roti King in Euston, albeit for some of London's finest and most authentic Malaysian food, you could do worse than visit their small sister - Gopal's Corner, although the menu is much much smaller. The most obvious omission is the char kway teow (how sad!) although from anecdotal observations their moorish roti paratha's are the most popular item. I myself had the cheese & spinch murtabak for lunch and the mee goreng for dinner. Very good and excellent value

The food is good, but the service could be better. I went on a Saturday afternoon, before the evening rush started. I was served part of my order. I waited so long I ate it and still my beef rending was not ready. It was over 30 minutes and I had to go up to the counter to ask for my order. Come on, it wasn't that busy and the girl serving needs to concentrate on thr job. I like to give good reviews, but the service was just not great.

The market hall experience can be done well but here it is terrible. I ordered mutton roti and when I collected it I asked for a napkin. I was told there were no napkins, but there would be napkins later! I was told I could go to any stall in the venue for napkins, I said none of the nearby stalls had napkins and the staff member sharply responded ‘YOU CAN GO ANYWHERE’. So I was expected to trawl the venue with a bowl of hot mutton curry in my hand. Food was okay.

My birthday treat. Was disappointing, not as good as the Gopal’s in Victoria. The chicken meal was lacking the flovour I was hoping for, the mammak was OK. Will not make an effort to return unless in the area.

Was expecting a lot with the Instagram post however did not meet expectations. When ordering the staff was cleaning the kitchen (top parts) and the food was not great. Firstly was cold and did not look fresh at all. Overall not a good experience.

Grossly overpriced for a very tiny portion of noodles which my ten-year-old would finish in 4 mouthfuls. £10.50 for two below average fish balls, three shelled prawns and two dried tofu puffs in an over salted otherwise bland curry broth. Not worth it even if Gopal doubles the serving.

A great selection of veggie options, can’t wait to go back and try more! I went for the thosai which was really flavoursome, the person I was with went for a banana leaf platter and it was a very generous portion and he said it was really good too.

My first market halls experience, chose Gopals as roti is my favourite and can't always find this type of food easily in London. I wasn't disappointed, roti was light and fluffy, dhal was flavoursome. Would dine here again, delicious.

Just eaten excellent roti canai at Gopal’s corner in the market hall west end near Oxford Circus in London. They do a range of great Malay snacks and are well worth a visit if you are in London. The market hall itself is similar to others, but the range of stalls is better than most. I had char siu at Bugis Street Brasserie earlier in the day so have had two delicious meals today.

We love roti king so when we found out they had opened one here at the market hall we wanted to come try and we were not disappointed! The roti was freshly made to perfection, the mee goreng mamak was delicious and my friend loved her lamb murtabak. Would be great if they just sold plain roti and also if they had the sweet one for a desert

As it says in the title, this is the place to bear when it comes to authentic and deliciously made bubble tea. The service is always fast and I don’t think I can emphasise just how wonderful the drinks are. You get a lot of drink for what you buy plus there is just something special about the presentation of the drink and the way it is made that stays in your mind long after you finish the bubble tea. I particularly recommend the fruit teas, with some drinks it comes with fresh fruit in the drink that you can eat after! Always refreshing and sweet

¿Alguien vino a preguntarme qué estaba esperando? Me pareció extraño. Ella me preguntó si estaba esperando a la principal antes de empezar a comer. ¿No es extraño? Solo esperé unos 2 minutos. Vaya.
