Good Burger Kitchen in Brighton and Hove

Came here for lunch on a whim on the way to Bribie, really happy with the food and value, Okonomiyaki was just fantastic. Most dishes have their own sort of twist on the tradition, what we had was great. A lot of mains around the $20 mark.

What a nice surprise great coffee and the food my husband had the big breakfast and couldn't stop saying how amazing it was had an Asian twist to it and both agreed to not only go back but also recommend it to family and friends very happy with the experience 😀

Had a great time at Blaktan, staff were very friendly and had amazing customer service. The food was AMAZING! I had the matcha & almond croissant, couldn’t recommend more. Definitely recommend this cafe if you’re in the area ❤️

Delicious food, amazing coffee, excellent service, and a clean and spacious atmosphere. Ordered a beef bulgogi bahn mi, gyoza and chips, I would recommend them all. Can’t wait to try the other meals on offer!

First time trying blaktan. Booked a table at the start of the week for Saturday, and details were confirmed. Day of, we found out the table wasn't booked but luckily there was a table available. Apart from that, the food and service were great. Ordered the rice bowl with pork belly, blueberry mocktail, and pork bao buns. Decent prices for what you get as all were a 10/10, great portion size and very satisfying. Wish the place was a little bigger as it's very small inside with not many tables. Will return again, but will need to make sure the booking is definitely booked.

I visited this amazing Korean cafe that has everything from tasty meals and coffee to awesome service and even cool interior design. It's like every part of the cafe is made with great care and quality. The place was buzzing with locals, showing it's a popular spot. It seems perfect for people who work nearby to grab a coffee or a bite before heading to their job. I tried their latte, and let me tell you, it was delicious! It's definitely a must-visit if you're looking for a place with great coffee, food, and vibes.

Beautiful interior and atmosphere, but it was very busy. Don't let that stop you from coming!!! Comes with outdoor seating as well, and AMAZING food and coffee!! The service was lovely as well, very kind and skilled staff. Love coming here!!!

Beautiful Coffee. Food was fresh and tasted good. Couldn't see much in the way of vegan options on their menu, but they use good oat milk for their coffee. Customer service was lovely. Aesthetically pleasant and had a nice vibe.

Staff are always so lovely and make a very personalised experience for everyone. Staff have made the effort to get to know us and our orders. My friend and I come in with prams frequently and there is always space made for us and staff holding doors. Excellent coffee too!!

It was a very busy Saturday morning, Food and service were good given how busy they were. Eggs Benny, Eggs and toast with added mushrooms and bacon. Cappucinos.

Don’t try breakfast menu but the lunch we had just so average. Disappointed and wouldn’t be back.

The tea was made with proper tea leaves. For a tea lover, it is very rare to see a cafe take care with the tea. Atmosphere is great.

Absolutely superb food here. Never had a bad meal yet. No wonder they are so busy! So many different flavours and mixtures of food make for an interesting and enjoyable visit. Gotta try it Just finished a nice family meal after a pretty long hiatus from here. Gotta say it didn't disappoint. Had the big lunch and some Asian greens. Very tasty and good selection of protein carbs and veggies. Good to see that the quality and service is still as good as my last visit. Great job guys. Definitely give em a go 👌 👍

Great coffee and very good food

Was in the area after a medical appointment looking for a cool, quiet, inside space where I could sit down and have lunch. Excellent okonumiyaki (Japanese style cabbage pancake), big serving and very filling. Friendly relaxed staff and space. Table service was very quick despite the busy lunch time traffic. Will be coming back to try more from the asian fusion menu.

Went for a birthday and wasn't disappointed at all, great service and amazing food. We tried all of the bao buns, everyone of them was great but the crab and beef one stood out to me. The takoyaki was also amazing. On to the coffee it was amazingly made and perfect. Would also recommend the lime soda. The atmosphere and decor inside was great

Have been going to Blaktan for a few years now and everything is always fabulous. Food is excellent and very unique versus other venues I've been to. Coffee is of a very high standard; they have espresso based drinks as well as filter available and the beans are roasted on site and available to buy. Service is always, always super friendly and attentive. Just a really great place to have coffee, brunch, lunch or anything really! Would highly recommend to anyone. Keep up the amazing work Blaktan :)

Had a reasonably large group on short notice for Breakfast. Fitted us in and did a great job. Highly recommend the pork belly eggs Benedict.

This is a fantastic Korean restaurant tucked away in the industrial district. The coffee beans are roasted on site, which is why the coffee fanatics line up the door almost constantly. The food was presented well, along with the drinks. Some, not all, flavours are either lacking or a bit too much of something, but still worth a try. The workers are knowledgeable and friendly, with the decor spot on. A definite cafe to try if you’re in the area.

Had a great experience at the coffeeshop. Interesting selections and up to standard food. The baos and matcha hotcaked were yummy! I love their matcha latte and coffee too. Definitely would come back for more. Edit: it has been 3 years since my last visit and it seems they had renovated, which improved the ambience quite a bit. Food and matcha was still amazing. ❤️

The soft shell crab was packed with flavour with a generous portion size. The beef vermicelli noodle salad was beautiful and fresh. The lotus chips are nice and crunchy. Friendly, quick service. Can't complain!

10/10, fantastic coffee that you can tell is fresh roasted and well made. Very impressed with the food as well, wife and I both got Asian Eggs Benedict, her with pork and I with bulging I beef and both meals were perfectly executed and delicious.

Everything about this place is exceptionally good, except that they're a bit too busy on the weekends. I hope that they give all their staff bonuses because they were so polite and attentive and the food and coffee were magnificent.

Yeah great coffee, but last couple of visits my takeaway coffee isn't full as I would expect it to be. Please in future, fill the cup to reflect $5.50 worth. Not much to ask.

Blaktan is a bustling little nook, and on one visit it's not hard to see why. The staff are welcoming, present and efficient, the environment has a homey feel somewhere between a meditteranean cafe and a log cabin, and every dish that I've seen with my book in my almost two hours here has *almost* been mouth-watering enough to muddle my own menu choices. I had the Buncha with Bulgogi Beef.

Thank you! We visited for the fourth time today, and we'll be back again.

This is such a nice and cosy cafe! Had a very good experience with all the friendly staff there and the very smooth coffee. Ordered a Korean style bulgogi beef sandwich and it is very delicious! It’s special and you don’t find it easily elsewhere. The menu is very multicultural and there’s a lot of other dishes I want to come back and try! The seats are comfortable and the overall vibe and decoration is decent and enjoyable. Recommended!

Great fusion menu with too many tempting options - earle grey panacotta, Korean fried chicken, blaktan beef burger (omg), matcha waffles (just to name a few favourites). Haven't had a single bad experience and if the opportunity arises for a dinner service - jump on that fast!

Went here today it looked great inside very busy and then i got the food and drink i ordered i paid $9 for a milkshake that was about the same size as a small coffee and the $25 "big" breakfast i order was not a BIG breakfast it was 1 mushroom 1 peice of bacon 1 dry peice of sourdough with a dribble of butter 2 eggs 1 hash brown and 1 peice of halloumi it was honestly pathetic and really disapointing i will not be returning to this money grab

Food was amazing! Super impressed with this hidden gem. Great value too and the staff were so nice and patient and cozy ambiance. Also, the takoyaki and lotus chips are a must-have. I requested for no vegetables on my rice cos I don't like vegetables else usually there's a pile of cabbage and stuff on it as well but I like it better this way the teriyaki and mayo just works so well
