Shirley really looked after us when we ordered an order in advance for 15 people. The food was very hot, which was surprising considering we collected. Thank you. From the group, their feedback was of a good quality product, generous in the portion size and very tasty.

The best Chinese ever we were down to see my daughter and it was delicious . We’ve been 3 times now and always go here . Never disappoints .

The food at Golden Rice Bowl is amazing but massively let down by the service. Because they take at least 2 hours to fulfill a takeaway order we go elsewhere more often than not.

Still a solid Chinese takeaway. The food is always fresh, great sized portions and is delicious! Their chow mein, Singapore noodles, foo yung, satay chicken and salt and chilli chicken are the best dishes. As well as the pork balls. You won't be disappointed.

Literally the best Chinese takeaway away food you can get. Everything we have ordered from here has been perfectly cooked and tasty. The special fried rice is packed!

Every time we get this, it stays hot for ages - so it is never cold when we get home nor do we have to reheat anything. Everything we have had from here has been delicious except from the chicken with broccoli- had a bit of an odd taste. Their duck rolls are a MUST buy. Not only are they HUGE but they are super tasty. We dont go anywhere else because its that good!

The best Chinese I've had in years. Really nice people and having been there a few times now I haven't had a bad dish. You don't wake up the next morning with that horrid msg mouth you get from a bad Chinese.

Another fantastic takeaway. The beef in Satay sauce is so tender and the sauce is really thick. Pork balls have lots of meat in them and aren't chewy at all. Chow mein is flavourful. Always great food

Golden Rice Bowl is so good that we drive a long way to have it. The food is always lovely. Everything is always cooked fresh. It doesn't matter if you order on a Friday night or a Tuesday evening, the quality is exactly the same. It's reliably good. The chicken in every dish we've tried has always been tender and not chewy. Satay chicken, great. Peking style chicken, great. Chicken in black bean sauce, also great! The pork balls were melt in your mouth. The Satay sauce is thick and has crunchy peanuts in it. Absolutely delicious. The chow meins are tasty, as are the vermicelli dishes. They don't skimp on the portions. The beef in the beef dishes is soft and you get loads of it. The spiced smoky shredded chicken starter is sweet and crispy. Definitely something to order and try. They do get very busy, but then they are so good it's worth the wait. The staff members are always friendly too.

We've been going to the Golden Ricebowl for a number of years. The food is consistently good and the price is reasonable. A reliable Chinese takeaway! Do order early at busy times (weekend evenings). No parking directly outside, but there is a small car park a short way up on the hill on the left.

Have been here a few times and the food is scrummy. We phone the order through and then go and collect. The food is always ready and still hot. Always greeted with a friendly smile, great staff and great food. Shame they don't deliver locally. A happy customer 😀
