Great quality every time The best Chinese in Horley - recommended to me when I first moved here about 14 years ago & this is still my favourite today. Lovely family run business and always great food.

Food good polite people .tried all the other Chinese shops in horley seem more expense been going here years ..some nights very busy phone none stop ringing

Have been ordering from Golden Phoenix for years. I'v never disappointed. Have tried others and always reverted back. Great food, good value, and always happy to accommodate any order, however big within a reasonable time frame too.

Just staying down the road for the night and found this Chinese takeaway. Wow the food is amazing I had a beef curry and chips and my husband had special friend rice

Bought chicken fried rice. Smallest portion ever in my living memory - not value for money. Food was bland and chicken was rubbery and slimy... binned it.

The worst Chinese I've ever had. Unprofessional staff, very long waiting time and very poor quality food.

Golden Phoenix has been the go-to Chinese for my family in Horley for well over a decade. Have never let us down no matter how big or small the order.

My Family have used this Takeway for many years great food and Service. in over 20 years they have not let us down

Best to go and collect your meal as there delivery service always takes longer than they say - staff still not particularly friendly and food is just average

We read reviews and decided we wanted chinese food. Glad we did as it tasted great. Lady inside taking orders was EXTREMELY BUSY but very polite. We went there personally and had our meal within about 20-25 minutes which I thought was pretty good considering how many orders were coming in. Yes busy but tasty. It was also reasonably priced as well. We were visiting from Canada and staying in a local hotel.

Waited nearly 2 hours for delivery, constant calls (4 in total), different stories ever time, a complete joke and when the meal arrived the delivery guy was expecting a tip. The food was luke warm, sweet/sour very greasy, rice dry and chop suey very salty and the meal swimming in a sauce. Our meal was a total waste of money and trust me this has got to be the worst Chinese in Horley

For the fifth time our family had been let down by this business , very late delivery or items missed from the Order, always with the excuse of you have not ordered this or for the delivery time as just a sorry , thoroughly had enough

Go here for a takeaway occasionally but always have to wait longer than they say it’s going to be- staff need to smile and be a bit more friendly food is average better Chinese takeaways nearby in our opinion

We ordered a very basic meal for delivery in Horley just before 6pm Saturday 24th Nov, we only ordered this late as it took them 25 minutes of constant calling to get them to take our order.Assuming the delivery time advised was 20 minutes we sat down and made ourselves ready to eat and looked forward to a night out at the cinema later that evening.Around 7pm we became concerned and started to ring the shop repeatably for an update on the failed delivery, at 7.26 our 28th attempt we finally got through to be told by a giggling girl that it was meant to be 1 hour and 20 minutes for delivery,and that the food was ready and they were waiting for a driver. We have ordered from here before on the weekend and have never been given 1h 20 minutes as a minimum delivery time. We rang back again at 7.46 to be advised that the food was out for delivery and that the driver had 2 other deliveries to do before us. The girl on the other end of the phone was also laughing for the majority of this conversation. Our lukewarm food arrived at 7.55 a mere 2 hours from ordering.There was nothing golden about our service last night.

Their food is great and lovely customer service, very attentive to allergy requirements as I am allergic to whey and lactose. They even offered delivery when we ordered and didn’t realise they stopped after a certain time

Worth a try but there are a lot of Chinese takeaways near by always takes longer than they say for delivery or collection staff could be more friendly though
