Great little pub with upstairs dining , the staff were pleasant staff and tmade sure it was clean and tidy ......and food was super. 👌

Good place to watch the football and not too rowdy for the north London Derby. Halloumi flat bread was delicious.

Very nice restaurant. Unfortunately the waiter completely ignored us. Otherwise nice pub with the opportunity to watch football, among other things.

Fantastic central pub in Soho for a few pints and a bite to eat. Lovely staff and great food that’s very reasonable for the area. I’d defo recommend for pub dinner to line the stomach before a late night out in town. 👍

Best landlord, wonderful staff, incredibly welcoming

I just like this pub a lot, unpretentious and comfortable. Good beer and plenty of screens showing sport. Has a nice upstairs room with football on too.

FACOURITE pub in soho to work during the day AND PARTY at night. Quality ales, lovely staff and service. Manager always makes you feel welcome and appreciates your business during these hard times for working people. To top it off; they show the football. Would recommend to friends and family as something for everyone. A+++++++

Good place but against all the good reviews here I found the staffs bit sad cold and unsmiling.

Can you give less than 1 star? The food was awful and the staff didn't care at all. No ales. Toilets grim.

Excellent selection of beers available and friendly staff however the toilets are downstairs and are quite small. Personally, being in Soho, I was approached and asked if I wanted to do something that was an immediate no no and the reason for rushing out of the pub. If you're straight, I'd highly recommend that you take a friend down to the toilets with you to not have this happen to yourself as it did to me.

Water leaked from the ceiling onto me and my friends and the staff just acted like it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t care

I've been there for Wimbledon, I've also asked the guy if was possible to have the sound on and he said yes. Small pub in a busy area, but definitely nice hospitality.

We visited this pub today - first and last time. Lovely pub, staff are helpful but price is outrageous - £12.05 for a coke and a pint of camden hells. I know it’s soho but come on, that’s outrageous!

Whether you’re looking for a place to grab a drink or food, this is a great option. Located in a vibrant area, catch a corner view from a table upstairs. Friendly staff, easy ordering and the food was really good.

I felt like a pub type lunch , so this place wasn't busy went in. The pub itself has a great traditional feel about it , a great range of beer and the staff very welcoming. Unfortunately the salad I ordered was dismal. A main course salad that fit on a side plate and cost £13.50 !!..bad enough but it was a few leaves with some vinaigrette type dressing..nothing else ! I'd go back for a beer but never order food here again ..

The bartender upstairs got a bad attitude. We just want to have a better seat to watch the football game. He keeps telling us that we can’t seat in the table for 4, and can only seat beside the ladies restroom, even though there are 2 ladies just finished and left that 4 seats table.

Love this place. If you're into cars, planes, or even if you aren't, and got kids, there really is something for everyone.

One if the best Fish n Chips in town.

This is my pub of choice when I'm in London and stay in the West End area. Small but cosy with great beers and sports on their multiple screens. Great pub

Traditional London pub. Good choice of beers, inc. real ale. Didn’t eat here but I had a pint of Abbot & it was reasonably priced by London standards. Would visit again.

A brewery with an English atmosphere, like many others

Called in on our way to Euston after a wonderful weekend in the city this pub is a little gem just off Leicester Square The service we received was first class ,staff and landlord were very welcoming I will recommend the place to everyone and will definitely be be calling back soon

Great spot in central Soho. Atmosphere was on point and a cool selection of drinks, the charming Jay behind the bar helped me try something new. I didn’t try the food but it looked great coming out. Highly recommend!

We love this pub in the heart of Soho. Always a genuine friendly welcome and attentive staff who seem very stable as the same faces are usually there. Almost unheard of in London! It is a sports bar and has a lovely atmosphere during a sporting event, but equally nice when it’s quiet or in the upstairs lounge. It is always clean and tidy with a very attractive and well maintained bar area.

Good selection of beers and wines. Good buzz with a mixture of local workers, pre-theatre, sports fans and weekend revellers. I think it’s the only sports pub in Soho. Immaculately clean. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Great little pub in the middle of London. Even better it has Abbot on draugh. Good service and the food, steak pie, was excellent. We ate in the late afternoon and the pub has a pleasant buzz of workers and tourists. We visit London quite frequently so this is a good pub to remember.

First off, it's a traditional pub with your average bar, seating area, and beers. But that's the kind I like. A good traditional pub where you can imagine the msny generations of londoners and tourists before you. As a nice extra note, the bar tender gave us a free Guinness to share as they'd accidentally poured one for a different customer. That was a nice touch. I'd certainly go back.

Went in there on a Tuesday night in Feb. Almost all the beers on tap were off. I was given the last pint of IPA and it was horrible. The management don't know how to run a pub. The staff were perfectly nice but frustrated.

7.10£ a pint. A waste of time coming here . Service with no smile. An awful experience and I only had one beer . I defy anyone to disagree. Badly done for a pub in UK.

Banging food and great atmosphere . Football and rugby on screens and just a good bunch inside watching Fish and chips were first class crunchy batter and beautiful flaky white fish The Katsu chicken was equally impressive

Perfect place for a quick pints with a couple of friends before the theatre. Wasn't too busy but lively and a really good pint of Guinness

Small place right in the heart of Soho, tough to get a seat but did manage which wasn't bad for a Friday night. Friendly staff, perfect for a quick drink or two and not a bad selection of spirits, plus a few tap ales to boot.

Good good at a reasonable price in central London. We had a lovely table upstairs overlooking the street.

Lugar espectacular, servicio inmejorable. El manager, el tío más agradable con el que me he topado, incluso se animó a darnos consejos en nuestra visita a Londres. Una amiga se vino arriba y le tiro los tejos, pero respondió de manera muy profesional, que estaba trabajando.

It scores highly for character, pubbyness and history. A lovely old building on the outside and still fairly classic on the inside. The food was decent, we enjoyed a few of the small plates and sharer dishes. It was all very tasty. The beer very good, and I was pleased to find an excellent pint of Green Kings Fireside on tap. Lots of local references on the walls, maybe more styled than authentic. I like my pubs to look well aged and seasoned, this was just the most recent refurb and style.

Very nice pub with seating options and great drink options from spirits to beers and ale. Definitely recommend to others to visit. Only downfall is they serve in plastic cups which aint good for the quality to drink from and also the environment. Decently priced and not so busy during the afternoons and allow to come in big groups.

I have been there for years and years, the Golden Lion is now my number one recommendation for drinks out, they’ve got the best beers available. Sport events are sometimes on the big projector screen, sound ON if enough people are there for a given match, excellent music in other situations 😌 I highly recommend! Cheers 🍻

Small pub with a great atmosphere, specially if you want to watch Premier League match. Been there to watch Tottenham-Liverpool, as a Liverpool fan I'm not happy, but... what an amazing big screen and sound on for all game. Will be back for sure

Bag was stolen while we were drinking in here - while that’s not the pubs fault directly, they did tell us it has been happening regularly recently. Would it not be best to specifically give people a heads up when they’re buying a drink? I’ve been to plenty of bars in London where I’ve been reminded not to leave my phone on the table or to watch out for my bag by staff and it’s always with good intentions.

Decent boozer in Soho, efficient staff. Plenty of TV screens with Saturday sport on discretely placed. They serve Guinness 00 in a Guinness glas, so 5 star from me

Staff were lovely, food and drinks were great, the atmosphere was perfect. The best pub we visited during our trip to London, we will definitely be going again.

Wanted to grab something to eat between cursed child performances, and found this little gem. Cheese and bacon burger was excellent.... yummy chips (could of been a bit hotter, but that is knick-picking). Really friendly service. Would totally recommend it!
