Best Chinese in Gosport, like the option to have extra spice.

First time using these…..will not be the last. One of the best I’ve eaten and may well be my new favourite if it’s consistently good.

Starters were a strange consistency and the sauce turned out stomachs. Sweet and sour sauce very vinegary. Limited flavour of meat taken over by pungency of veg. Sweet and sour balls very oily. Didn’t enjoy at all

Food was awful , very chewy and cold will never order from here again

Cancelled my order of £42 on uber eats which led me to order from an alternative place. Out of the blue a delivery driver shows up with the order claiming that they tried to contact me to honour the order. I was baffled as THEY cancelled on me and the driver proceeded to ring back to the restaurant where they attempted to press and intimidate me to pay saying that it was my fault and that I had allegedly cancelled the order. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Lucky I’m not a push over as a lot of people would’ve felt under pressure to pay, but I had already spent another £40 else where and couldn’t cancel. Annoyingly I would’ve preferred the Chinese food, but after that shameful display of harassment I’m in disbelief.

Although the food being okay I found the person over the phone to be very difficult and rude customer service 👎

Best take away in ages to be fair. Food was hot, food was actually as described. early delivery. Great place with just one issue. Rip off Britain. when your can of drink arrives with 75p on the can and you've paid £2.00 a can that's just atrocious, along with a delivery charge. The food was good but I would expect it to be at these prices or they should have been on silver servers at that price, extortionate prices for a take away. Breaking the law pricing up as well.

The best Chinese I’ve found locally. Food was delicious. Portion sizes were good, it was amazing. Delivery driver was adorable and so lovely. Can’t recommend enough. Will be using this as our Chinese from now on

Delicious Chinese food and close to the beach

I asked for my meal without shrimp and prawn as it makes me ill, clarified on collection my request, I was told that the kitchen had been informed. I discovered after eating the majority of my meal that it had shrimp in it. I have retained a small amount to take further action should I become ill.

If this keeps up, customer for life. We have tried nearly every Chinese in the area, this takeaway makes them all look so very bad. I can confidently state that this food is so good, fresh and of high quality that we were blown away, Thank you so much for your dedication.

In short- dry, chewy and lacking in sauce. Ordered what I normally have from a different site as I was staying in the area. Ordered delivery. Took 45 mins and was staying less than 0.5 mile away. No comms from the restaurant on an eta like their website says. Disappointing to be honest Shredded beef- dry and chewy very little sauce Honey chilli chicken - basically a chicken version of the beef but tasted the same. Dry chewy salty and hardly any sauce. Sweet and sour chicken balls - decent portion and we’re good but again needed more sauce. Rice - slightly overcooked Seaweed - good. So wasn’t dreadful. If I were to order again I’d skip the main and get rice and seaweed with some sweet and sour sauce. Those were the best bits.

everything was lovely the Singapore noodles were very spicy only minors the salt and pepper chips were quite bland and very dry and the kung po chicken had so much garlic in it when I opened the container I choked on the fumes

the food tasted nice, although the vegetable spring rolls were over cooked and the food wasn't very warm. delivery was very late, they updated the app once and the app was showing food as delivered five minutes before it actually arrived.

Usually amazing, however on this occasion, some meat was dry and tough, chicken was slimy. Not great

Made a large order for 16 people for an 80th Birthday party. The delivery was bang on time, Really hot and superbly cooked. Many thanks to the chefs at Golden Kitchen for the excellent service.

We were looking forward to trying this Chinese as the reviews were really good. Unfortunately the curry sauce was really watery and the grilled dumplings were soggy and the dip was not nice. The sweet and sour Hong Kong was really good though. The delivery was late also. So a mixed bag from us.

Food always delicious best Chinese takeaway we have ever had

I placed an order for a delivery online and it arrived on time and the food was delicious and good portion sizes will definitely be ordering from there again plus it was very easy and straightforward from choosing from the menu to payment really recommend you at least try it once and see what you think!

Very disappointed very horrible chicken ball over cooked and dry chowmain sloppy and not tasty egg fried rice was OK but not the best bbq sauce don't taste of bbq and curry was nice but not the best and chips not that good would never order here again

This is the best Chinese in lee on the solent. Absolutely love the food, very tasty and full of flavour. I would recommend chicken curry, the beef and black bean and the chow mein. The chicken rolls are delicious too 😋 . All the food is freshly cooked and ready within 15 - 20 mins depending on how much you order. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Great to have this takeaway right on our doorstep. Love this place. If you haven't tried it yet make sure you do, you will not be disappointed.

I hardly write a bad review or complain about food, usually if its bad, I won't order from a certain place ever again... However, this time I cannot just ignore the fact we've ordered quite few dishes for the family (over £50) to try this take-away place, and finding every dish you taste, is tasteless and not fresh at all, on top of that, we paid high price for the portions recieved.... Personally I will never ever buy from this place again, and will never recommend it to anyone... Disappointing food and extremely overpriced...their menu is now in the recycle bin.

Have tried a couple of times coz there are lots of choices on their menu! The hot curry is magnificent that you can feel the food are freshly made. It would take a bit longer time to wait for the food on the weekends since they have already had a great business at the mean time. Still worth it apparently.

Excellent food and a lot of choice. The addition of Thai food is great. We chose Thai and the food was brilliant. The portions were just right, but the house special fried rice is huge. It could easily feed 3 people with other dishes. Terrific.

Hour wait for food , not half an hour as told after placing order by phone ! But worth the wait the food was very good , even though they forgot to put the sauce on the lemon chicken! Hopefully it’s just still teething problems to a new business! We will go back again …

Rude, rude staff. Waited 30 mins after delivery slot. Egg fu yung was a lump of rubber. Rest of the food was runny and tastless. Far too expensive for second rate food.

Spicy chilly chicken nuggets are amazing! Had a beef curry with fried rice the curry is unlike any I've tired but really nice we tried the "spicy box " comes with chips and chicken with salt and pepper seasoning, that needed some work it was very very dry but rest of the meal lovely we will be back
