Golden Grantown in Highland

Drove 30 minutes and was about to put a large order in when charging my car and got an automated message, which said they were shut. Nothing posted on Google to warn potential customers. Not the end of the world but quite annoying

Here on holiday, I only tried the house special chow mein but it was one of the nicest I have had. All of the ingredients were nice and fresh and cooked to perfection. I've seen some terrible reviews on here but I would definitely go back for more.

Magic food..had our first takeaway at the weekend and it was delicious...

Hands down the worst Chinese I've ever wasted money on (and I mean money because they don't take cards). Even the fried rice was somehow foul! Overpriced and stuff missing from the order. I managed 2 bites before I had to bin it, and my son and wife exploded at both ends after. Avoid at all costs people!

Ordered twice, good food for a reasonable price, can't rate the atmosphere as it's just a take away.

No cooking involved here, food only took 2 minutes to make after I ordered. Just cheap food with no real taste and poor quality ingredients.

Wish we would of read the reviews before we went! Terrible quality food which is extremely overpriced. Unless you want to spend more than your mortgage on a less than average meal i would avoid this takeaway and go elsewhere.

I ordered a chicken Maryland at £9.10 and I was disappointed the two slices of chicken were overcooked looks as tho they were cooked with the chips the sausage was like a slice of spam also over cooked the banana and pineapple fritter was really nice I don’t think I’ll be ordering this again I’ll stick to my normal meals in future I’m downing this lovely takeaway but the will have look into cooking fried chicken from a regular visitor to grantown on Spey

Love this Chinese always get a good meal and plenty of it,had quite a few meals from here and never been disappointed, keep up the good work 🙂

Chips and gravy are the best salt and pepper chicken is amazin but u have to have a bank loan to afford the food far to pricey ....

Once again - that's 3 times in the last 2 months - the Golden has no pancake rolls. The food is generally uninspired but just about rates as adequate. Pity they don't have any local competition to encourage them to up their game.

Very nice, food was really good and a very reasonable price, all takeaway no sitin area, best to phone in your order and collect though to save you hanging around, this is one of our favourite takeaways in the town. Very happy.

Best Chinese takeaway I've ever been to!

All the food was as one might hope from a decent chinese takeaway. Very courteous staff and good value. The big positive impression was the effort they have taken to protect staff and customers from coronavirus - big perspex screen and all the staff wearing facemasks. Really impressed - good work Golden.

Chips, egg fried rice and BBQ is a winner from here. Not tried many other dishes to fully review this.

A chow mien with very little noodles was tasty enough but not be visiting again. Just head to Aviemore the next time.

You should be paid to eat that "food". The interior is already dirty and messy. The food is disgusting and even a 9 year old could cook way better. I assume that the only reason why this place is still running is the missing competition and chance of comparison by the local customers.

This place ought to be put in for the worst takeaway ever competition ,it would win hands down ! Congealed sauce encasing barely cooked ,chewy old meat ,curry vile ,ribs barely had any meat on & what was there was rank . £30 wasted on this awful muck ,4 of us agreed it was the ultimate ,crappiest food we'd ever tried. Won't be back ! Yuck & double yuck!!

It was really awful, disappointing and not worth the money at all. It was just mixed convenience ingredients and warmed up meat. Also the portions weren't worth the price. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
