Curry sauce is like water the rice just absorbs it all for all the curry sauce they give you, and also the food is just rotten would not recommend

We had curry tonight. My husband had chicken curry which he said was quite nice. I had special curry, I couldn't eat the beef it was all fat and gristle and felt a bit slimy. Pork had hard bits in it. Chicken and prawn were fine and the sauce was fine, sadly I wouldn't buy again. The service was really good, very friendly

Absolutely terrible service .... 3 hrs 30 mins for a delivery 1 min drive away .....! Was offered two tins of juice for the inconvenience which feels like they have no respect for their customers..... I understand it's a Saturday but I made my order 30 mins after opening I phone twice with no remorse or value given hence the one star .... I'll stress this was not the delivery personnel at fault but the organisation or lack there of.....

Regular customer here. Our family love their pork ribs and fried rice. Service was good. Curry sauce is great too. Would definitely recommend. Knowing the fact that they have many orders in one day and sometimes it could take us a bit time for waiting due to lack of manpower, delivery rider, not a big problem at all.

We decided to give this takeaway the benefit of the doubt despite the awful reviews, biggest mistake we have ever made. the food was awful, it looked uncooked and pale as anything, the chicken balls were bone dry and just disgusting, our whole meal was inedible and went in the bin, complete waste of money; extremely disappointing considering we paid over £60 for our meal. would definitely not recommend. overall horrendous quality, lovely staff and quick service, but awful food.

Food was disgraceful and now good egg fried rice was brown and looked like maggots the chicken was hardly cooked and was hard on some bits noodles were not spicy and super sweet and the ribs was just yuck. Waiting was a disgrace took about 20 -25 mins for food that we thought would be good floor was sticky and there was mould in the corners and the chairs was disgusting too

We went up here from south, this takeaway was recommended by the staff at the commercial hotel, Food was tasty with reasonable price, would highly recommend.

It was a takeaway. - sauces were watery - meat looked very pale and overall quality of food was really bad. Meat was chewy - noodles were fine but the sauces were really thin and the food had very little flavour More focus on quality needed

I have used 88 a lot in the past but this time I certainly won’t be again. The food was disgusting not worth the money the fried rice was not palatable as was the rest of the food. NEVER TO RETURN photos will be put on here.

Order from here at least twice a week nice food, .....However, the biggest issue for me is that every order that i place there is always something missing which you have been charged for. :(

Terrible!! Took over 2 hours for my order to be delivered tonight! And the food was disgusting!!! On top of that had to go and meet the driver to get my food! Not the drivers fault there on crutches but surly should not be delivering if cant go to customers house theres a reason i paid for delivery! Doubtful il use this place again as theres always some issue with the order or takes half a day to be delivered

The first time I've ever had food that made me vomit and gave me diarrhea at the same time. It wasn't even tasty. Good for a detox, I suppose.

Very expensive for low quality frozen meat and taste over powered by a strong clove/ star anise flavours. Very greasy and best part was the fried rice which tasted of nothing. Parts were so over cooked that it could have broken a tooth. We didn't finish it and won't even feed it to out hens, it's only fit for the bin. Paid £45 and didn't even get a bag of prawn crackers. Will not buy again!

Tasty food and friendly customer service

Ordered chips rice and curry sauce and asked to have the curry sauce separate, as had to travel home and didn't want to be soogy. Was refused this request and instead charger nearly £3 for a tub of curry sauce which is almost the same price for the chips, rice and curry sauce dish. Absolutely shocking. We ordered chips, curry sauce rice and gravy and chips, two cans of juice and it cost us £15.00. We won't be using them again. Surely you should cater for take-away food.

Rubbishe service phoned up 6pm didn't arrive till 7.15pm ribs burnt, chips too garlic on it no impressed with the service and food

We're regulars here at the 88 and like it but the need to do salt n chilli chicken not that sugar where yr left way nay teeth left with that 😅

Don’t know why I keep eating here. I keep trying in hope but it’s probably the worst Chinese about. My friend ordered kung Po and I ordered sweet n sour, there was absolutely no difference in the taste?! But really none of the two had any flavour. Asked for a meal without MSG as well and they wouldn’t do it so defiantly the last time I order from here. 👎🏼
