Golden Dragon in Rushmoor

Food took 2 hours to arrive (1 hour past stated delivery time), all chicken dishes were undercooked - pink in the middle. Prawn crackers were stale. Rice and seaweed was ok.

Take out arrived in less time than stated , my tofu was good as was the prawn dish.

Ordered through just eat, took well over an hour early Sunday evening. Ordered Pad Thai which was so bland. NO peanuts or chilli or any spice whatsoever, no wedge of lime just bland chicken and flavourless noodles mixed with a few bits of spring onion. Prawn toast was bland. The Chinese curry and 1 out of 2 spring rolls were good.

My partner and I placed an order via Just Eat, but when we began to eat, she found several pieces of metal shavings after only a few bites, the first she discovered only after biting it. This is an incredible health and safety violation, and could have caused severe internal injuries if it had gone unnoticed.

Nice food at decent prices. I would reccomend the chow mein or the sweet and sour chicken balls. Delicious.

Top Chinese. My go to, salt and Pepper chicken and crispy chicken in garlic sauce are a must.

Tried this place once and never changed since, so helpful, easy to talk to and order is right every time even though I'm the fussiest person. Would highly recommend if your fussy

I am very disappointed of my experience this evening. I have ordered so many times from this take away before, however the service I have received this evening has led to me writing this review. I ordered my very standard order that I’ve had hundreds of times before to my home address (the door is centre of postcode). My food arrived cold, I rang Golden Dragon to make them aware of this. This is where things started to go very wrong, rather than being met with an apology I was met by a very angry worker. Who kept repeating that it was impossible. She explained that someone would have to call me back because the manager wasn’t there, and ‘he only comes once a month to collect the profits’ and that I had an option to collect. I have now been left with food which is below 55oc when 62oc is the safe temperature and having paid for this food and to be met by this. I will no longer be ordering from Golden Dragon! I was told to go elsewhere, and not to order from again.

Very nicely cooked food, my first visit, friendly service.

Salt and pepper chicken was like croutons, no chicken at all just hard batter, egg fried rice was as bland as my nans wallpaper and sweet and sour sauce was like a pot of vinegar. Won’t be ordering again unfortunately

Haven't ordered from here for a few year's and now won't ever order from here again. How can you serve raw chicken in a chicken ball? 7 out of the 12 were raw! Had me then checking all the chicken in the other orders. Thanks, its not cheap to have a takeaway anymore and you totally ruined it so thanks but never again!

Disappointed, sweet and sour ribs were over cooked and the pork was hard, the rice was also very glutinous and stodgy. Threw most of it away.

We all loved our takeaway in fact all of us said it was the best Chinese we’d had for a long time. We had mixed veg chow mein, chicken chow mein, crispy beef, beef in black bean sauce, kung po king prawns and special fried rice. Generous portions, really tasty and good prices.

Ordered through Uber eats….. worst Chinese I’ve ever had it was revolting and half my order missing it arrived late so couldn’t even argue with them over the phone to sort it out avoid this place!

Probably most awful experience, food is terrible. I have returned food, haven't got any refund. Feel robbed and hungry. FOOD QUALITY IS SHOCKING!!!

Small portion, not much meat (showmein) and quite expensive for portion but tasted good.

One dish was alright but the rest were tasteless and awful. Crab and bacon rolls were especially terrible, no crab involved at all.

If I could give them zero stars I would have. That's how bad my experience was. Ordered VEGETABLE fried rice which arrived with egg, which last I checked wasn't a vegetable, which I'm gravely allergic to, called the restaurant and because I forgot to write my allergy down on the online order, it was my fault and therefore wasn't eligible for a replacement order even though I paid for the food, refund was also refused. My entire order was contaminated with the egg due to it being plated up by someone else. And as a chef with many years experience in the hospitality industry, I know full well that even if it was the customers mistake, if you take their money, you're obliged to provide the customer with the food they've ordered that is up to standard and completely safe for dietary requirements and allergies. However, this was not the service I was provided with, instead, the woman on the phone when I called to complain and requested replacements was incredibly rude, raising her voice and repeatedly stating that because I forgot to listen my allergy, the mistake was not her problem. I've been ordering from Golden Dragon for 5 years, after tonight's experience, not being able to eat my food and not even getting my money back, I think I will leave it at 5 years. They have completely lost a customer. And I've noticed countless 1 star reviews calling out the woman on the phone for her rudeness so all I can say is this restaurant need to up it's standards of customer service and fire her, there is never NEVER an excuse to use the tone she used with customers. Bye Golden Dragon, yet another customer you've managed to push away.

We have just enjoyed a fantastic meal from the Golden Dragon. It was delivered spot on time, was delicious and was exceptionally good value. We will definitely be using them again.

We normally have no problems with the food and this is our favourite chinese restaurant for a takeaway but tonight we waited 2 hours for our delivery. I understand it is a Saturday night. We ordered at 5.15pm and delivery came at 7.15pm. The food was not as good tonight. The special chow mein was very watery, the salt and pepper chicken was lukewarm and the chips were cold. The rest of the food tasted lovely though.

Rank. Ordered some large spring roll and was rotten.

One word DISGUSTING dont use this place they need to be closed down

Worst chinesse I think i have ever had! Singapore chowmain completely over powered by chilli it didn't even taste like Singapore chowmain satay chicken skewers ribs prawn toast all over cooked worst Chinese

I ordered my food at 6pm it turned up at 8pm I was told it's a new driver I phone up she said he couldn't find my house so he took it back when he did turn up he was very very rude swearing at us and sticking his fingers up an item of the food was missing and it was cold I don't think I'll ever be using this company again disgraceful

They have rats everywhere in their yard and their food store is a garage.

Have ordered from here for years. Last time, there was a large cooked fly in my dish. Disgusting. Couldnt get through to complain. Just poor standards. Rice now consistently over cooked and old tasting, very strange texture. Wouldnt recomment or go back, too many bad meals in a row.

Tasteless food . Wouldn't cater for us when we asked if they could make a certain dish a certain way . And the lady at the counter was nothing but rude Definitely wouldn't recommend ..no flavour or seasoning . Salt and pepper ribs tasted of oil and nothing else . Currt was gloopey and congealed.

I used to order from them n first time ordering after these uncertain time. I spent £41.80 today for Ho fun n rice. All 4 packets Ho fun was thick, dry and uncooked. Rice was dry n tasteless! Absolutely disappointing. Money wasted! Called them n told them about the food but no refund was given! Should hv spent elsewhere!!!!!!!

Fantastic food . Best crispy shredded chilli beef . Satay lamb brilliant . Nice to be able to order and collect myself whilst out for my walk. . Delivery is also available .

1st time trying golden dragon, not the best found a few chicken bones in the chicken fried rice and the chicken didnt look very well cooked

Worst special Chow mein I've ever tasted, the noodles were so soggy, it was just mush and the ingredients within were sparce and tasteless. Crispy chilly beef was bland and the satay sause was just awful. It wasn't home made.

Just ordered d for the first time and must say a really well made meal. Fresh ingredients and nicely cooked. Delivered a little late but not a real issue will use again.

Ordered at 19.17pm arrived at 21.10 say on just eat delivery between 35 and 55 minutes got the rice wrong plus cold wont order from there again

Terrible! Ordered online. Food was 45 minutes late - I had to ask for an update myself after 20 minutes. The restaurant refused to give me my money back claiming heavy traffic... in Farnborough... On a Wednesday evening! An outright lie. On top of that the spring rolls were cold and soggy and didn't come with sauce.

It's not bad for the price - it's my regular choice for Chinese food

ordered food when come was missing a main dish. called them who thought it was acceptable to send me the missing dish half hour later. ended up arguing for 10 mins on the phone for them to come back collect the food and give me a refund.

Food normally good but this time absolutely shocking. The food was boring and taste horrible. Both chicken dishes I got were 80 % sauce which made me throw it away as you couldn’t even get a hint of chicken. 100% off the takeaway list

Not good. Awful taste from the lemon chicken. Chicken satay on a stick was over cooked making it difficult to eat a dried up chicken. My first time trying this Chinese place. I thought I’d switch it up and order from a different Chinese restaurant. You guys let me down and now I know to avoid ordering from there. The manager didn’t even bother getting a fresh one to me. I don’t want to be credited next time because it’s the last time I’m ordering there. I work hard for my money I expect you guys to do the same and do a quality check on the food before delivering. You guys had one job and you f-ed that up.

After checking the reviews we ordered vegetable fried rice, chilli chicken, hot and sour king prawn ball, king prawn chow mein. Except the chow mein other items were not good. We couldn't eat. the worst food ever. I won't order from them again.

Terrible customer service, was told delivery would be 1 hour 20 mins and when I cancelled through justeat they called to argue with me saying they had already started cooking!

Although the food arrived on time, and was hot, it was not cooked to the usual standard. The soup we had was so salty it was inedible, and had to throw it away. One of the main meals did not look the usual style we have had for years, was only able to eat less than half. The other meal was quite nice but was quite dry due to lack of sauce. Sorry will not use again.

When in need of good Chinese food go here

Used to be ok. Now they always seem to be 'busy' . Over 1 half hour wait on a Sunday! Wouldn't be so bad if the food was fantastic but food is standard takeaway crap. I will be looking for another Chinese takeaway.

Plenty of choice, good food and good service.

Took over an hour to arrive, for a simple curry for one, on a Thursday night. After waiting that long I was hoping that I might actually enjoy my meal. It was disgusting, and has gone into the bin after a few mouthfuls. The beef is gross, seems to be covered in a layer of snot like jelly, nothing like I've ever seen before. The sauce has a horrible gloopy texture, and the rice came in a solid block which couldn't be separated into grains at all, only lumps. I gave up, really disappointed. The only single good point was that the food was hot, which was pretty pointless as i can't eat it anyway.

Good Customer Service is what keeps customers coming back - I hope the Golden Dragon realises this before it loses all it's trade. Charged for using card & delivery and was spoken to very rudely when I questioned this. Very poor - we will not be returning.
