Golden Dragon in Craven

Has an unexpected lovely meal here. The service was excellent. Staff were extremely attentive without being overly so. Food was very good. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was particularly good and the crispy duck was a good size and very well presented. The rice is large and look so nice.Whole experience was good. Pricing was very reasonable too. Will definitely visit again.

Honest review, not sure how it gets 4.5 stars, food isn't great. Sweet and sour chicken not crispy, egg fried rice had an odd odour so we didn't eat it. The crispy duck came pre-shredded, hoisin sauce was sweeter than we're used to. Couldn't fault service though.

Went here for a carry out whilst on holiday in the Dales, polite staff,good sized portions and nice food, price is pretty much what you'd pay anywhere else

We stayed at walkers barn cottage for a few days , came here for tea one night , as our dog only eats chicken, they cooked his tea also :) , especially just for him he loved it !!! The staff were great , the lady who served us was just fab , can't thankyou enough for looking after us and our spaniel on our visit definitely be back highly recommend x :)

We visited Settle last year and tried this place, when visiting this year knew we had to go again. The best special fried rice and hubby loved the chicken chow mein. Shame we have to wait till next holiday as we live a bit too far away! Super friendly owners too x

Been going to this Chinese since it opened. Always consistent quality food whenever we go, warm when I get it home, good service. All in all it's what you would expect from a good Chinese takeaway.

Great food at fair prices, fast service & friendly staff.The salt & pepper chicken pieces (with egg fried rice) were cooked to perfection, the beef curry was delicious too, this was our 1st visit but certainly NOT the last!

Tasty food, large portions, quick service, similar prices to our local back home, cash only. Note * Chinese dishes vary from different restaurants so don’t complain it doesn’t taste like yours back home 😂

The chips weren't the best but the Chicken Curry, Salt & Pepper Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein, spring rolls and Crispy Shredded Beef in Sweet Spicy sauce were all delicious. The staff were very friendly.

The food is nice but it's a bit too expensive they don't even give you rice qith your main you have to order that separately, making your food like £12 for something like a chow main and rice. Bit too pricey.

So so... I guess in different countries Chinese cuisine is also different - it was nothing like USA Chinese take out...

Ordered from here one night during a holiday to Stainforth for 4 people. We went in ordered left to get cash and came back within 10 mins. When we arrived we paid and then only 5 mins later we got our food. I was nice and warm and smelt delicious. The food was beautiful and had loads of flavour. My partner especially enjoyed the Salt and Pepper Chicken balls saying they weren't greasy like that sometimes can be.

Best chinese takeaway I've had . Sezchaun beef was delicious on Monday and beef green pepper Black bean sauce was just as good on Wednesday.

l order salt and peper chicken is nice and good portion will order again recommend

Just had a meal from here! Absolutely inedible! The special chow mien was burnt in taste! To the fact it went straight in the bin! Ordered and told 20 minutes for collection! 45 mins later it was ready! Won’t be returning soonish! What a shame

Been here 4 times now. Each time worse than before. Owners rude. Food is pretty naff and when I went a couple of days ago I ordered crispy beef in Szechuan and got the worst case of food poisoning I’ve had in ages. Would not recommend at all!

Had Sweet n sour Chicken the sauce tasted of powder as if a packet mix was used and not cooked out.(catering term sorry)Veg spring rolls by time we got back to caravan were cold two were still not cooked in middle
