The worse Chinese takeaway I have come across in years. We ordered crispy duck which actually came with lettuce and tomatoes 😆 the duck tasted like it had been cooked days before. I would avoid if I was you...

The lady taking my order was very pleasant and friendly - keen to be write rather than just pleasantly respond. The price was id say good value - I live in hull and this was 3/4 quid less for simular. Waiting area had two big reasonably clean sofa - excellent! Wait time... 4 mins Parking - easy - straight outside Food quality - ok to good throughout. Crispy Chicken was lovely. Small criticism - something wasn't right with the rice, wasn't as dry as we expect and flavour was a little lacking maybe something to improve as everything else was really good. In summary excellent medium to low budget Chinese takeaway

Very disappointed. This was my go to place for chinise, i have been many times so as a loyal customer i was very unhappy when they wouldnt let me have any prawn crackers. I spent £19.80 but order had to be £20. I asked what the cheapest thing was to get it up to that price but the young moody girl on the counter was very rude and funny with me. She wasn't bothered and had no customer service skills. As a loyal customer they have lost me all for 20p. I will be spending my money at another chinise!

Had a delivery about an hour ago with insult from delivery person reported it to manager who did not seem to be bothered about the delivery persons attitude his answer was so what do you accept me to do about it im disgusted with it

Service was very quick (maybe worryingly so?). Took about 5 minutes to order and walk out with food. We tried the crispy beef with salt+pepper, which was 'as dry as the Sahara Desert' according to my girlfriend. We'd advise against trying that. We also had spring rolls, egg fried rice and soft noodles. They were as decent as any other Chinese take out, but the spring rolls portion was much bigger than expected (about 9). The deep-fried 'beef' just brought everything down. Perhaps larger pieces of beef would've made it a little nicer? However the price was cheap.

The food is very delicious. Portion is generous. The owner has made an effort to provide quality food with good oil and no MSG. Loved it, worth every penny of it. Speed delivery as well. We add it to our family weekly treat list.

Has been a complete change here 😪 Wouldn't mind the price hike if the food was good but, even after trying to give benefit of the doubt, its just not good. You take your own bag and they still charge you for one too. Higher price and lesser quality x

New menu and an extortionate 48% price increase on my regular order. Queried it with them and they gave me a new menu with the new prices. 2 while sections on the menu have handwritten "not available" across them. Leads me to think it's new owners with other takeaways or restaurants around Yorkshire. A £15 treat now being £22 isn't worth it. Food was good but not worth that price

Food was freshly cooked with top ingredients. Fantastic experience. Certainly will buy again👍👍👍

Hi I through what should I have for my tea and yes I fancy a Chinese!! So I rung up and ordered beef curry, special fried rice??, barbecued spare ribs, and large chips, bag of prawn crackers . I was so looking forward to my tea . The staff were very good meal was delivered very quickly. But I was very surprised to see wot they called a beef curry the container had beef and a little bit of curry in it ??? For the money you pay for takeaway you would thought they would make shore the meal wood go out nice to eat will I shop there again 🤔

Never been disappointed by a meal from here. Lovely food and first class service.

Food was bland, insipid and stale. Only the egg fried rice was passable. I was hoping for better. I guess the warning signs were there when the food was ready so quickly. Shame because the staff were lovely.

Food is really nice, good portion size, staff can seem a bit ignorant at times, and the chefs smoke right outside the kitchen door. Just go a bit further round where people don't see you. It personally puts me tight off.

Recently added delivery service is a plus. Always hot food coupled with courtesy; highly recommendable👍💯💯

Singapore chow mein with no veg and no chillies. Small portion of tasteless rubbish. I won't go back. Onlytthe hygiene rating stopped me giving it one star. People who think this is a good Chinese takeaway haven't obviously eaten from many different places. Only decent one in the area I've been to so far has been China Royal in Brigg and on the North bank Woksoever in Cottingham is really good. Avoid.

We ordered a simple takeaway early evening, it took over an hour to arrive and when it did the food was very over-cooked, oily and not tasty. Will not order from this takeaway again.

We weren’t very happy, chicken skewers were raw in the middle, crispy shredded beef was uncooked as well and chilli sauce was sugar with gravy and hint of chilli... Ate just chips and curry sauce in the end. For me the worst take away in Harrogate ever.

Good food reasonable prices and quick

Had Singapore fried rice and Cantonese style king prawn. Prawns were good, nice and big. The rice was bland and lacked spiciness/the heat it was indicating as having. Perhaps a little more chillie/ spice would have given it the kick expected from and 'Singapore' dish.

Very nice, a touch pricey compared to barton eateries. You can spent 30 quid and still not get free prawn crackers!

What can i say? This is a top chinese take away in Starbeck. We - as a family - have bought Chinese food from here for years, too many to remember now. The food is always well cooked and enjoyable. Lovely owners. Nothing is too much of a problem if you wish to change items on their set menus. I can recommend this without any hesitation whatsoever..

It's okay if you want a quick Chinese takeaway but the food isn't the best out there. The owners and workers are very nice though so check it out.

Fabulous food and service, ordered from here the last 4 years, never fail on fresh beautiful food, very quick to deliver, wonderful to deal with....... last order was sat 11/06/16 during euro football viewing, far exceeded my expectations to deliver on time and the food was exceptional! thank you Golden Dragon, you truly are amazing! xx

The usual selection of Chinese meals, crispy chili beef and sesame chicken very good. Prompt delivery but not cheap. Overall pretty good and the fortune cookies a nice touch.
