Been a great place a while back but who ever has took it over has absolutely ruined it food not that nice no more if yous are getting a Chinese I'd recommend go some where else

Been using this takeaway more or less since it opened.but after tonight won't be going back.soup was boiled water poured over chicken and noodles,TASTELESS.curry was tasteless and very salty.I've made better myself.its wen't right down hill since it came under new management.

I have never seen fried rice that colour anywhere else, have tried a few times and it's always the same. When poured onto my plate it sounded like I poured some smarties or skittles it was that old and hard. Everything else we ordered was so average so never again. And yes I do mean you hallhill road golden bowl in barlanark lol. Go to superfoods on the main st to see how to cook rice and get some lessons.

Last week I got a beef curry it was wasy to spicy to eat and today I got a beef curry again told the girl on the phone I didn't want it the way I got it last time and tonight it's come chips are cremated and the curry sauce in the beef is like jelly Absolutely disgusting I won't be using golden bowl again after using them since I was a we girl won't ever use them again also after requesting they take the food back and give me my money back they never gave me a full refund absolutely shocking

Chicken is processed canned meat shocking as I asked for not breast spring roll is just beansprouts avoid this place at all costs.

Nice local Chinese for a takeaway however a bit salty for my taste.

purchased on a Monday night. Chicken satay dry , chewy, old and sad. Had to drop the whole skewers in the weak, watery, curry sauce. Obvious the satay chicken was leftovers from the weekend.

Big thanks to the delivery driver for braving the road conditions tonight 👍 this place Never disappoints chicken curry extra hot is outstanding as is their Singapore chow mein, if u like a hot kick give the golden bowl a try 10/10 from me 👍

Very enjoyable and very reasonable priced had chicken sweetcorn soup and beef curry fried rice

Hadn't been here for over 5 years ,never thought the food was that great it's still not Black bean sauce was very bland meat content ok ( Char Sui Pork) peppers very hard as even was the onions pancake rolls taste not good one more chance then if not good thats it for me.

Fried rice was burnt, chicken pieces were cold and chewy.

What has happened! Until about 4 months ago it was our go to takeaway, but now, very overdone, creasy food, very unpleasant . Have started using Jade House for the 1st time in about 10years. Sorry, golden bowl -geta better chief!

Usually good however got the £4 box with 2 chicken balls, rice, chips and curry sauce. Chips were anaemic and barely cooked!

Always a really good meal from here.

got a breast of chicken curry fried rice last night with chips i have been a customer of the shop for over 10 years last night the curry was awfull the chicken was dry and the curry sauce was like water i will never use the shop again it was my fav local shop time to search for a new chinese.
