This was a massive breakfast. it was very filling and a great option to choose. you can get vegan or meat. It was delicious and i loved it. i will return as the food was amazing. Tea was also served.

I was waiting for one lahmajun more than half an hour and to my surprise 😦 it’s came barely almost cold and under cooked. It was not baked, nor was crispy, it was bland white with poor tired from waiting time a salad beside. I believe this salad giving for take away! The gentleman beside sitting came later, but was served first. I have no words to express my feelings: people who order more expensive things they are served primarily, if your order not for big sum, then you have to wait and quality of your order is not the same. I would have thrown to the bin salad I have been served in Restaurant!!! Left the Restaurant in bad mood and didn’t wish to order anything else! Kervan food I did order to my home as well, and I can say that my opinion was same. Just for comparison: I was expected lahmajun i had in Gokuzler in North Finchley, I was returning from hospital Finchley memorial and spotless service I received left me impressed, but not in Wood Green Kervan! Wish, people to be treated equally and quality of food you are providing to be highly appreciated!

Approximately 40 of us went. Staff super efficient & friendly. The service was quick. Ordered two (2) meat platters for nine (9) of us. We couldn't finish it all. Doggy bags for all. Meal was very tasty. Highly recommended 👌

Ordered mix doner for my son and got rotten food. I attach photos so you can have an idea. When opened the first box I was shocked as it was disgusting. I was about to vomit.

Ordered food for delivery, one kebab was missing when it was delivered. Called the restaurant and the manager did not want to know, all he kept saying is his chef said the order was all delivered. Very rude and no help whatsoever Would not recommend

Lovely atmosphere, great team and delicious food. Team are always very time efficient and greet with a smile. Selma was also very kind in making sure everyone on our table were happy with their food. I would highly recommend this place for any occasions.

A massive thank you to all at Kervan Wood Green, especially to Jason obviously, who is a star of a person as well as being an excellent front of house, for another marvellous meal; one that makes a person so happy that the sentiment lasts even longer than the fullness of ones stomach. Our anual celebratory (Easter /my birthday) enormous breakfast feast was a complete joy. Everything about the turkish breakfast at Kervan is fresh, flavour filled and satisfying, great ingredients prepared wonderfully. Wow wow wow wow. This was an amazing great. Every item on our platter was superb. All the meat was juicy and perfectly cooked. The rice, bulghur and salad were great accompaniments. The bread was huge and fluffy and made a perfect vessel for scooping up meat, salad and sauce. The chili sauce is full of pepper flavour but light on the heat and was great for dipping. The vanilla rice pudding was so sweet and creamy it was like rice pudding and vanilla ice cream. Next level Turkish Restaurant. Don't miss out

Went here after reading reviews on here. Staff friendly and attentive and very knowledgeable. We order the shared platter for two plus a few extras. The squid was absolutely gorgeous and highly recommended. The shared platter for two was certainly an ample meal and very tasty and filling, especially as you get bread and tzatziki complementary as an added starter. Don’t fill yourself up with the bread, leave room for the main. I will go back when I am in The north of London, as I understand this is where they are mainly based

Any day that starts by sharing the delicious feast that is the marvellous full Turkish Breakfast as Kervan Sofrasi, Wood Green, is going to be a great day. The magnificent menemen is worth it alone and this is the dish that is thrown in free! Everything is freshly prepared using high quality ingredients meaning that despite the amount I eat I always leave feeling healthy rather than greedy!! Amazing food!! Had the best grilled salmon of my life. Our waiter (Jason) showed exceptional customer service. I’d give 10 stars if I could !!!

After a beautiful meal, we asked for the bill and we noticed they added drinks on the bill that we never ordered! In fact 4 which was added £20. After 20-30 minutes of discussion we managed to convince them that we didn’t have those drinks. The staff made it so complicated and didn’t seem to understand basic instructions after our table expanded the situation 7 times! The manager got involved after 30 min and finally removed the drinks from the bill. No discount for the trouble they have caused! Drama lasted longer than our eating time 😅

So i went to kervans today for my birthday with 32 of my friends lool i must say the service they provided us was incredible 👌🏽 They made sure we received our food on time knowing we was breaking our fasts and all the staff that was helping us really made sure we got what we needed, from extra forks to extra table and chairs for late arrivals to our randomly picked drinks, really enjoyed it with my friends and was happy enough to come here to make sure use lot get to hear my experience 👊🏽

The absolutely glorious full Turkish breakfast at Kervan Wood Green makes for a perfect luxuriant birthday lunch, especially when combined with the wonderful, friendly and generous service at this marvelous restaurant, thank you Jason you are a star and your fellow waiters and waitresses also. Whilst the breakfast: which is immense and delicious and of a very high quality; a heady mix of salad, roasted vegetable, cheeses, breads, eggs, meats, savories, olives, fabulous menemen, honey, jam, tea and, because it was my birthday, an effes draught- filled my stomach the wonderful service we received and the experience of being there filled me with joy. Really enjoyed my visit here, with a group of friends a couple of months ago. Mixed grill was absolutely delicious, as were the accompaniments and condiments. I particularly liked the aubergine and also the tzatziki.

Had a last minute change of plan and had to eat at Kervan. They were very accommodating and helpful!

Esta tiene que ser la peor experiencia gastronómica que tengo en mi memoria. En primer lugar, las mesas estaban apiñadas y no se tuvo en cuenta el distanciamiento social. A mi compañero y a mí nos dijeron que "el piso de arriba está cerrado" y estábamos sentados en una mesa en medio de varios otros. Pasamos los siguientes 45 minutos viendo a otros huéspedes que subían las escaleras. Los precios (comprensiblemente) habían subido, pero la cínica reducción de los alimentos fue escandalosa. La oferta tradicional de pan y la opción de dos salsas se redujo a una sola salsa. El plato principal de shish kebab mixto (a la principesca suma de 15.50) presentaba solo una opción de arroz en lugar de las dos habituales. Para empeorar las cosas, una variedad de camareros rodeaba continuamente la mesa esperando abalanzarse sobre cada plato vacío. En un momento tuve que luchar con un trago medio lleno del camarero. El insulto final llegó con el pedido de té turco al final de la comida. Esto normalmente se sirve con Baklava, pero viene solo. A estas alturas éramos conscientes de la cínica reducción de costes y cuando mi compañero pidió Baklava, el camarero dijo: "Tienes que pagar". Un final perfecto para una noche terrible. Escuché "preguntarle a mi colega" después de acostarme con el gerente (creo. Llevaba camisa blanca y chaleco) después de 3 minutos de yyyy. . . Dijo que está en los baños de mujeres. 3. Cuando llegué a cambiar de lugar fue muuuy. . . asqueroso sucio y tan pequeño en la parte superior del inodoro y creo que será mucho mejor hacerlo en el inodoro inhabilitado, al menos podré llevar el carrito y dejar al bebé allí mientras limpio el cambiador. Ese es el lugar donde es una broma para toda la empresa Kervan.

We went to Kervan and one of my kids ordered Salma Beyti. We recieved one kofte surrounded by yoghurt and others food portions were very small. We were told that because I was eating in restaurant, this was the portion size. We were furious but they took our food back and told to leave the restaurant if we weren't happy. We took a picture of the meal and sent it to the manager. When the manager responded he said that we were lying and that food wasnt served from their restaurant. When showb the receipt for purchase he never responded and that's the last we heard from them. I'd say to go to another restaurant. Turkish food is nice but not worth the treatment and abuse we recieve. Spent £57 on 3 meals which went to waste.

Busy, vibrant, buzzing. the Wong Kei of Kebabs, without the rudeness. That said, adding the tip without asking, even when theyknow something has gone wrong, is really annoying.

We went to Kervan Sofrasi before going to a gig at Alexandra Palace early evening on a Saturday. The restaurant is large and had a good atmosphere. The service was good and fast. We were pleasantly surprised when bread, salad and a dip were bought to the table and it was complimentary! We then had 2 Turkish pide (one chicken and another veggie) and one smoked halloumi wrap and 3 drinks and everyone enjoyed their choices. The cost was approx. £48. If we were in the area we would return.

Nice decor and buzzy came here for a new years eve meal had the falafel was awful. Overcooked to burnt and very pungent vinegary taste. The aubergine side dish was nice though.

We have visited this restaurant a year ago and the standard is as good as last time. We ordered differen dishes as Chicken Wings, Adana Köfte (Minced Lamb Scewers), Dönner Chicken and Lamb Ribs. To this we drank beer eater and coke. Very Enjoyable.

We visited today the place for dinner. The atmosphere was lovely. Food was great and big portions but the service was bad. I asked for water and they brought only 3 glasses and we were 4. One glass was dirty and I asked to be removed but the waiter did not bring a clean glass back.

We were delighted with our meal in this bustling restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was a real treat. On arrival we were presented with large bowls of salad, hummus and tzatziki and a basket of bread. Our starters were piping hot and very tasty and the main course ( mixed which) really good. The restaurant was packed with locals, and was obviously doing a massive takeaway trade - not surprising given the quality of the food and the value for money. Well done!

In my review I give 5* but will post 4 only because they should be giving humus for their appetizers like every other Kervan but....apart from that food is amazing! Dall'esterno il locale mi ha attratto. In realtà il cibo non mi ha particolarmente convinto. le foglie di vite con il riso non erano buone, il pane non era buono (era tipo una focaccia ma non buono). L'hummus niente male. I prezzi sono medio bassi e il te è gratis (almeno a pranzo). Locale carino ma non ci tornerei.Comunque è pulito e il servizio gentile e può servire per una pausa vicino al centro commerciale di Wood Green.

Visité el restaurante ayer con un amigo mío, el restaurante se veía genial, así que decidimos probar la comida. El servicio fue bueno, la parrilla mixta se veía bien, sin embargo, mi amigo y yo tenemos dolor de estómago. Llamé al restaurante hoy y hablé con el gerente que realmente no le importaba. Definitivamente vale la pena evitarlo.

Entré aquí para cenar con mi pareja, tuvimos la fuente para 2, que era muy agradable. La carne estaba bien preparada y sin duda obtienes platos grandes en este lugar. El personal era bastante bueno, nada más allá de lo que cabe esperar. Buena comida, servicio estándar, precio, creo que era un poco exagerado, pero en general es un lugar bastante decente para comer, y tiene 2 pisos.

Visité después de la renovación. Han agregado más mesas y espacio para más personas, sin embargo, el servicio se fue cuesta abajo y ahora es espantoso. No hay suficientes camareros, lo que significa tiempos de espera muy largos para ser atendidos. La camarera también fue grosero. Pedimos un poco de té y esperamos 20 minutos y al final no lo trajeron. No hay disculpa alguna. I came back from my holiday and hadn’t done food shop so got a takeaway thought will treat for a nice meal but worse ever Turkish iv had even my local who sells for half the price Kervan does and is miles better and tastier.

Nous sommes passés par hasard dans ce quartier excentré au Nord de Londres et sommes rentrés dans ce restaurant sans prétention. Accueil souriant et prévenant. Clientèle plutôt familiale. Carte avec beaucoup de choux et quelques plats végétariens. On nous apporte une salade de crudités et du pain pita pour commencer. Les.portions sont énormes et tout le monde repart avec son doggybag ! Nous avons pris du saumon (bien cuit), des brochettes et une spécialité maison (morceaux de poulet dans une sauce à base de tomates et yaourt).Tout était délicieux. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir. Une belle découverte de la cuisine turque.

We had dinner with my family . Food was ok , but staf was very bad . They behave like they dont want you in their restaurant . Never smile they are not polite . Food might be ok but few meters from this restaurant you can find a lot so they have to be careful . “ kervan sofrasi” 1 family lost as customers . Advice : in 20 years in industry i worked and managed never charged £ 2.00 for black pepper , and never told customer of , put a note “family with children not accepted as they waste too much pepper”.

So, firstly I simply can not believe this place has a 4/5 rating. It’s absolutely a 5/5 place and no doubt... The staff are absolutely lovely and the service top end. The food is simply amazing, if you’ve never had Pide Lamachun (thin crispy Arabic cheese free lamb pizza with huge amounts of lovely Turkish salad as a free accompaniment) then you’ve got to order this here. The kebabs are huge and despite the concept of a kebab being a greasy drunken junk food, once you’ve eaten a really well made kebab here, your thoughts will totally change. Don’t over order food here as the portions are generous. I work in the area and I eat here at least once a week. Wood Green/ Haringey has a huge Turkish and Greek population and this means they won’t put up with a poor relative to their amazing cultures and cuisines. Kervan Sofrasi will not let you down....

The mix platter here is really good i ordered it and it came with the usual stuff. Everything was cooked well anf the service was also good.

Sono anni che vengo a Londra e questo locale è una tappa fissa. Nel tempo ho portato diversi amici in questo posto e anche i più scettici si sono ricreduti. Il locale è molto bello e molto vicino alla stazione della metropolitana di Wood Green, quindi facilmente raggiungibile. Quel che salta all'occhio subito, entrando in questo ristorante, e il banco carne a vista con una vasta scelta di prelibatezze. Ormai, essendo esperti, ordiniamo ogni volta il Plat Jumbo che è composto da diversi tipi di carne, opportunamente speziati, su un lettino di Kebab che è sufficiente per 5 persone. Prima di servire la carne viene offerta un'insalata mista con delle squisite salse e con il pane turco. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è veramente ottimo, considerando che anche con le bevande alla fine è difficile spendere più di 20 sterline a tesa. Consigliatissimo.

I went with friends to have dinner and i must say that its an awful service. You dont even finish a dish and they are already rushing you with the other ones. And if you would like to take away they just give you the take away containers and you do your own take away.

We love Turkish food and we’ve been to a lot of places but this is by far the best one in London - the food is lovely, big portions and good service. It’s a pity it’s at the opposite end of London for us but we try to go whenever we’re in the neighbourhood. 10/10

There's only 1 word for this place....Yummy! I'm not a lover of kebabs but I had a chicken shish and it was so tasty, got rice and salad and 2 sauces,even the bread was lovely. Definitely be ordering from here again.

When it comes to Turkish eateries I’ve enjoyed quite a few over the years, Kervan Sofrasi is just a cut above the rest.

Pedimos una variedad de kebabs para nuestro grupo, la carne vino en grandes porciones y sabía muy fresca y carnosa. Maravilloso y sabroso con los lados que pedimos. Las ensaladas y salsas también eran muy buenos.

Nos gustó mucho la comida, tenía buen sabor, era abundante y muy bien de precio.

Es el lugar de la abundancia, te tratan como un rey o una reina y puedes comer como uno. Enormes raciones, la comida es perfectamente fresca, sabrosa, colorida y bastante económica.

Comida increíble, servicio rápido y puedes degustar la calidad!

Excelente opção em Londres, situado no coração comercial de wood Green,local agradável, serviço muito atencioso, opções de grelhados saldaveis, carnes e peixes sempre acompanhados com farta salada e arroz com legumes e um molho de iogurte com hortelã muito bom.

Tomé la peor decisión de comer en este restaurante el día de Navidad. La mayoría de los restaurantes estaban cerca aunque carvery estaban disponibles. Eso también fue decepcionante hace unos años. Escuché todo el bombo acerca de Kervan, después de haber cocinado casi todos los años, decidí que no se iba a cocinar la Navidad.

Wir waren abends hier und haben auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service war ausgezeichnet (aufmerksam und schnell) und das Essen ebenfalls. Die Portionen waren groß und wirklich echt lecker.

love a kervan me! just not this one, they are very tight with food but very greedy with money, your better off going chrystal or another kebab shop if u want value for money, the food is ok but not great
