Only thing il eat from here are battered sausages as they are lovely But the chips are clearly frozen steal bag chips brought from Iceland or something which are always cooked for two high and not long enough so brown on outside and hard in middle The server guy I think owns it is really weird aswell, you try to collect your food and he literally just starts talking about something random and awkward but when you ask him anything or try to make convo he looks at you like got 3 heads … odd guys Needs to have new real chips and new staff

These are worst chips I have ever had. Chips were burnt and overcooked. Avoid this place! Will never go again.

Sausages are sweaty and cheap tasting. Chips seem like they have been sat there for hours, taste bland and are dark in colour. Soaked in oil Avoid.. Don’t waste your money

This is Shanghai’s most historical vegetarian restaurant, Godly was founded in 1922. The staff are Very friendly and helpful,prices are very reasonable. The wait for food to be cooked is very long, nothing is ever readily available. Expensive for average food.

We haven't been for a while, this had always been our favourite take away fish and chip shop, not any more. The fish was so over cooked it was inedible, dry fish, concrete batter and dark brown chips. I should have taken it back, but I really couldn't be bothered so I wrote this review instead. Needless to say, won't be going there again.

This fish and chip shop is convenient for me to visit but I haven't been for a long time because the fish and chips were bad but I came back late from a day out so decided to try again. The shop is always empty. It has more than enough room to put some table and chairs but it doesn't offer to eat in even though they could. The shop had just opened for the evening so I was confident of freshly cooked chips but when I got them home, they were hard and greasy and I feel sure they were last night's re-fried. The batter was sludgy and greasy and the fish paper thin. There were too many chips in a small portion (enough to feed an army) at 1.65 a portion but if you order a cone at 1.00, you get too little (about 10 chips). No help at all for a person living on their own.

Fui a esta tienda de chips ya que estaba cerca y era un poco de prisa. Desde el exterior parecía limpia, pero debería haber olía un rat cuando yo era sólo uno.Pedí pescado, maltratado, salchichas, rollitos de primavera y patatas fritas. Todo era preparan así confió que sería de buena calidad.Cuando llegué a casa fue una gran decepción. El bateador en el pescado y salchichas era gruesas como el alma de un arranque hobnail y como un poco viejo como empapados de algas.Las salchichas eran baratos y pálido como una bolsa de harina. ¿Qué sabor tenían era aburrida y poco hecha, incluso el perro convertido a su nariz en ellos.Los rollos de primavera estaban grasientos, de nuevo pasada y él las patatas fritas eran de goteo con grasa y sabor que había sido hecho en tren de aceite.Lo que no estaba destinado a ser un regalo para nuestros nietos se convirtió en un desastre que nunca se repetía de nuevo. Aléjate a toda costa.
