Gloucester train station cafe in Gloucester

Exactly what you would expect from a train station cafe. Average food and beverages. Lovely customer service, which was a plus.

Good selection of snacks & sandwiches including gluten free range

Crowded and busy but long ques soon calmed down.....sandwich and coffee OK!

Just that it's winter and cold but the place is awesome

I like a couple of ice cubes in my black coffee so that I can drink it sooner & the lovely server kindly found me some which was very kind.

Just had a drink the wife had hot chocolate and i had tea. I find it expensive in these cafes

Very friendly, very quick and reminded me of offers to save money.

Maintenance works are over and cabs are back right at the station entrance.

The weather wasn't great so having somewhere to sit and have a warm drink served by friendly staff was a godsend

Bought a large cappuccino to share. Wasn’t filled up as much as I expected, but was nice otherwise. Staff friendly and nice little seating area

Small layby for dropping off someone for train but couldn't find signed collecting area. Should not have to pay for parking if picking up for 15 minutes or so. If train late not your fault.

This place is in desperate need of refurbishment. The choices of food and drinks are limited and not inspiring. Get Pret a Manger take over, please.

Only a small station, staff very helpful,very clean.

Well, it's a train station! Quite clean. A bit of a walk down to platform 1 to catch the train to Bristol. Plan an extra three to four minutes to catch it, depending on how good you are on your feet.

Just been to Gloucester for a hospital appointment. The sub way under the train station has been closed for several months but I had an appointment at Gloucester Royal Hospital one of many. Recently ticket office staff told it was fine to cross the station but when I got to opposite side the very rude staff told me I had to go back and walk. Taking much longer. How long is the sub way closed? Also how do you get in car park closed to. Next I'll walk round. Very unsatisfactory and confusing information.

Very helpful staff in the ticket office. The café offers a variety of food to sustain you on your travels. The carpark on the 'Asda side' ( platform 1 and 2 there is pedestrian access still) will be closed soon for refurbishment but parking is available on the ' hospital side' ( platform 4). There is a bridge and lift for access to platforms 1 and 2 from this car park.

Bought 2 coffees but there is limited space just a counter to purchase from its COSTA Coffee

Very Nice & Friendly Cafe Staff.!

Hmmm, it is a train station cafe. Staff were delightful. In direct competition with a Costa within the station and you come across first as you enter the station. Its a functional no frills space with no atmosphere. Captured market on platform and prices reflect that.

Extremely rude stuck-up staff who had a go at me for briefly flicking through a magazine to decide if I want to buy it or not.

For a small town they have a good train station. Lots of essential shops . Taxi rank outside. And helpful staff

Nice little cafe, great staff! I bought a puzzle book in the cafe and asked if they sold pens, they didn't but the lady at the counter gave me one from the office, so thank you for that! Good selection of snacks, sandwiches and drinks while waiting for your train.
