I entered the cafe on a Saturday morning at about 7:30. I ordered a caffe latte. I then asked for a restroom. I was told it was unavailable. So I canceled my order. But on the way out, I said, you actually do have a restroom. The owner/mgr rudely told me to get lost. I said that I will, but that he had to ask nicely. He then ran at me and attacked me physically, knocking me down. I resisted until he stopped. He shouted get the hell of here. I said I need to find my glasses, which he knocked off of my face. I found them, left and called the police and filed a report. I can be contacted for any further details. Suffice it to say, no one should support this cafe.

Just over the road from the British Museum. This place is great, lovely selection of sandwiches, ciabatta, panini, salads, pasta. The food was excellent and great coffee. We arrived early to the British Museum and walked by this little cafe. A group were sat outside and the food looked good so we turned back! We were given a table for two outside and could watch the world go by. I had the chilli-con-carne jacket and daughter had the chicken caesar salad wrap (which was massive!) - both were delicious. Great service, great price and lovely food - definitely recommend for lunch if you're near the museum.

Stopping by Museum Street after a walk, my wife and I found this little place ran by two gentlemen. We were already hungry, having been disappointed that several restaurants we’d been looking for were closed. How fortunate that we found this cafe instead. Extremely fresh and appetising food on full display. We were made to feel welcome immediately. We had a lovely ciabatta and prawn risotto - very fairly priced given the touristy area of London. Afterwards, we knew we wanted to return. Our only regret was that we were unable to leave as much of a tip as we’d prefer, given our shortage of cash. Until next time!

Cosas tales como un poquito de mermelada le costó la libra, que, junto con el aumento de precio ya mencionado - para borrar el beneficio de lo que al principio parecía ser una comida barata. 22 May, 2015.Admittedly, we had not come to this part of London looking forthis restaurant. On the contrary, we had come here to visit theBritish Museum, and found ourselves hungry after the long visit. The restaurant calls itself `Giovanni's', with `Ciabatteria'written on the glass facade, to wards the bottom. Now, thissounded interesting. An Italian joint, with the Italian breadCiabatta being available here, and we chose some traditionalEnglish food to go with it? Yes, we ordered some sandwiches, andthe traditional English Fish and Chips. The weather was nice, andwe sat in the simple but impressive seating area, outside. Theseating area had steel furniture, with a wood top, andcolour-matched brown ornamentation on the chairs. The restaurantadvertises, `Breakfast, Lunches, Salads, Sandwiches, Cakes,Coffee, Catering for Offices' with a red banner, on top. Thesandwiches were extremely tasty with the fresh bread, and thefish and chips, nicely done, with a dash of a slice of lemon, tasted great.

I found the falafel very tasty ( not oily / too salty as it is too often the case). Also well done on the side salad with chopped parsley, with dices onion and tomatoes, this was a refreshing & healthy touch. The wraps were crunchy and tasty, again not too salty / oily.2 things to improve IMHO:- the "fresh orange juice" tasted as if it was a mix of concentrated orange juice + freshly pressed juice, a bit disappointed for the price..This was definitely not freshly pressed.- the dressing for the salad tasted like the one you can buy in a supermarket ( added sugar and thickeners ) a pity..it is so easy to make a good dressing...and the olive oil on the table was of poor quality...a pity they did not put some extra virgin olive oil ... not worth cutting the corners.Bar those 2 issues, it was fine. The service was also good,

I was visiting the British museum and wanted somewhere to have lunch with a friend I was visiting. So I decided that here was as good as any. Took a table by the window in what is a fairly inexpensive café and sandwich bar that looked like the one across the street and like many others in London. I had pasta and my friend had a Panini. To be honest it was nothing special... Pasta could have used a bit of garlic bread and the Panini looked lonely on a plate on it's own. The drinks were fine, although the coke I ordered was a can from the fridge next to us dumped on the table... Tasty food, but not much of it. Good service in general, but as average as the many millions of others in London. Had I have been alone and spotted it first, I would have had the all you could eat Chinese buffet around the corner....

I hadn’t been to this venue before, but had a good night. Good clientele in an intimate venue. The only downside is if you don’t have ice in your drinks, they don’t fill the glass, leaving a inch from the top. What cheapness. Never seen that before. I’d plan on going back, but hopefully this nonsense will stopped being practiced.

I attended this coffee shop today and bought an oat cappuccino to take away. On past occasions my cappuccino has split all over my hand so I asked the lady who serves the coffee if she could put cling film over the cup to prevent spillage. She become irritated and snapped. I asked her for a cup holder and she again did not listen and put another cup on top. Subsequently when I reached home the coffee was spilled. I shall not be using the coffee shop again. Very rude lady.
