Absolutely vile... rude staff and argumentative. We ordered re special pizza consisting of pepperoni. No pepperoni on pizza. We rang the shop and were phoned back by rude guy who said we needed to pay for pepperoni????? This states on menu an ingredient on the pizza?????. He said he wanted the other pizza back lol. Which he was having. Very argumentative and said that in the comments on the order it said No Pepperoni. Order stated double pepperoni. I think they need English tutoring. Can't read / speak English shouldn't be in a customer service job. Will never be returning . Absolutely ROTTEN , FILTHY TAKEAWAY. WITH NO FOOD HYGIENE RATING AS WAITING A REVIEW. I will be ring cheshire east!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

Seafood is definitely not fresh, it was super rubbery. The pizzas were soggy in the middle, so assuming they are also frozen. The starter came out cold and the drinks came out flat or with a funny taste. The prices are decent, atmosphere ok, staff are lovely, but I have to say I won’t be going back, especially after an evening of feeling sick after eating there. They should invest in better quality food, don’t cut the corners where it is most important and I think they will be able to give another local Italian a run for their money.

Ordered some pizza for the family and wasn’t disappointed. Well done Gio’s you have come back strong! Lovely sourdough bases and something a bit different from the norm with the toppings - love the Buffalo Solider. You can still get the kids what they like and create your own (we got a ham and pineapple) so they have covered all bases. Really happy that you have broken the mould - not sure there is any takeaway pizza in Macc doing the same thing so keep it up Gio’s. Great to have you back!

Normalmente una buena comida en el camino a casa desde la de salir por la noche, la calidad no es del todo malo. Los sándwiches de pollo son normalmente muy buena.

Fui en aquí para ordenar una pizza y el personal era muy desagradable para mí. Que mal mi pedido un el chico en el mostrador era tan hostil que pedí mi dinero y canceló mi pedido.

This place delivers some of the best pizza's I have had , at a reasonable price. They will make any pizza you want to your own taste. Overall good food and polite staff.

This was absolutely discussing! This place used to be nice something has gone seriously wrong! Twice in the past few months I've ordered and it's been the worse pizza ever and I've had to complain!

So we ordered a takeaway last night - our usual 16" pepperoni. We haven't had it in a while and were keen to taste what we had missed! But we were disappointed majorly! The pizza was like everywhere else... Not the one of kind we expected...Just typical takeaway! It should have come with a free garlic bread but when the driver got here, he said that the cook just "hadn't bothered to make it" but that we could have another in our next order. Well that was not good enough for us. If you advertise free garlic bread on certain orders, you should follow through with the deal!! So I rung up straight away and was advised that they would send another round in 45 minutes. But we were met with disappointment again when he never turned up. I bet if we would have paid for a garlic bread, the cook would have been bothered to make it then! GONE DOWNHILL! Do not bother!

Food is average for a late night takeaway. Staff are generally friendly but not good at maths so check your change, particularly if you've had a 'couple' of drinks.

I used to love the pizzas from this place! Then the last few times the wrong pizza has come, very slow delivery and when rang to tell about wrong order, was spoke. To very rudely! And was refused a replacement or money back. Complained to just eat and still no answer. Real shame.!!!

Used to look this place... Seriously gone downhill! Ordered a pizza which was supposed to have 6 toppings... When it finally turned up it only had one... Also very disappointing when your looking forward to a spicy pizza and it turns up with no chilli on! Also got a garlic bread which was rock hard! Will not be going again!

Finger nail found in chicken burger and when I rang up to explain what I had found they didn't apologise and hung up on me after even knowing who I am!!! I have lived in Macclesfield all my life and have frequently ordered from Gio's Chicken, never again!

I went into here a couple of weeks ago, at a normal tea time - just so youknow I wasn't a drunken customer coming out of a pub. I ordered a Greek God pizza which was vegetarian. Having waited quite a while and seeing a couple of other customers come and go that ordered pizza after me I eventually got my pizza and garlic bread and cheese I ordered. My boyfriend had been waiting in the car as he had got chicken from the Gio's chick place next door. Before we set off I just opened up the pizza to check it and it had meat balls all over it. I assumed he had given me another customers pizza by mistake so ran back in with it...This is when the man behind the counter insisted I had asked for a meatball pizza and that he NEVER makes a mistake. He kept insisting I had asked for this..I had to point out I am a vegetarian and would never order a meatball pizza! He then suggested I just pull the meatballs off it?? Good grief..Eventually after holding my ground he set about making another pizza. No apology, and half way through doing it turned to me again and insisted I had made the mistake and he has never got it wrong. Another member of staff appeared from the back and the man serving me lifted the lid of the meatball pizza box and clearly started talking about me as they both looked at me and smirked to each other... Timed to perfection, the delivery man came in having just made a delivery and announced the customer wasn't happy as they had got the order wrong!!! Oh how I felt smug! I have to say, the pizza when I got it was actually quite nice, the garlic bread was over cooked and by then was much colder...however, I couldn't really enjoy any of it as I was in shock at how rude these people are...I have since read Just Eat reviews and seems Mr Perfect makes rather a few mistakes with the orders..Sorry, you had the potential to be nice but your customer service is appalling. This was my first and last time I order from you.
