Best pizza shop in whitby , not the cheapest but you get what you pay for has always been good and staff are great

Too many times things have been missed on delivery . Such a shame as we love their food. Needs to improve with getting orders right

Quite possibly the best takeaway pizza we’ve had in many years! Staying locally for a short break, we had 4 pizzas one evening and were all extremely impressed with what we ordered. Quite often, local pizza takeaways seem to end up with bland pizzas where the toppings all seem to blend into one mess of flavours. Not here. Freshly cooked as we waited, and very worth waiting for they were. Shame we’ll not likely be here again, as our own local venues at home are not close.

Great for late night emergency rations.

Not great food in general.The doner meat is like leather and the kofte is poor. Would not recommend the beef burgers either. Have been coming on and off for years and it has gotten worse within the year.

Can't really complain about this place as the staff are great, food always comes hot without missing items which is a bonus and they know the ingredients for a chicken parmo which is great 👍

1st time iv orded from Ginos, I got 3 pizzas and they were not the best pizza iv had, it was very greasy. The dough didnt tast freesh so probably not made same day. I would not recommend this Place.

Great pizza, great service great value! Excellent pizza, lovely owner and speedy delivery. We ordered 2 pizzas for delivery to where our van was parked up, no problem they arrived hot within 20mins. Pizzas where really good, one of the best I've had. I changed my topping as I wanted no onions and came exactly as ordered. Great service.

We are on Holiday in the area and we asked a local shopkeeper if they had any recommendations for a decent pizza that could be delivered. He recommended Gino's Pizza and we are so glad he did. We ordered 2 x Pizzas, Garlic Mushrooms, Mixed Kebab and chips. The pizzas were both full of flavour with a generous amount of toppings. The Garlic Mushrooms were a massive portion for the price, which we weren't expecting at all. The Mixed Kebab was cooked to perfection. And the chips were probably the best chips I've ever had from a takeaway. Our food turned up within 20 mins and it was all piping hot, we even got a free Garlic Bread with Cheese. Would definitely recommend Gino's to anyone else who hasn't been before.

Never had a bad pizza from ginos. My preferred pizza place in Whitby. Great service mostly quick delivery. Pizzas not too greasy. Amazing choice.

Husband and I ordered in the shop, Gino was very nice and we had nice chat while we waited. Pizza was very good, very tasty. That's twice we've been there now, would highly recommend.

Awful ordered a mixed kebab and garlic bread with cheese half mushroom and chips,all the meats was dry the pitta bread you had to cut them open and fill yourself the guy at the counter couldn't hardly understand English never to return again

Collected our order, which was ready on time. The place had a buzz about it and was busy, which is a sign of a good takeaway. Food was nice and hot when we got home. Fries were spot on and really tasty. Pizza was fresh and you could taste all the individual ingredients on the pizza. Will defiantly be ordering again.

STAY AWAY, RUDE OBNOXIOUS STAFF! DESERVES ZERO STARS!! I called this shop to place an order but my son has allergies so I informed them of this. The man on the other end of the phone raised his voice and said he can’t guarantee anything! I responded that I understand that but can they please make sure there is no cross contamination. He then shouted and said “we use our hands to make the pizzas love!!” At which point I told him to cancel my order! I cannot believe that in this day and age you get treated this way as a customer. Having ran a takeaway myself for the past 15 years I would never dream of speaking to a customer this way and being soo insensitive about an allergy!!

Personally I’ve never ordered anything but pizzas, but they are some good pizzas … I don’t recommend the spicy beef but everything else is ace

A lot of places shut early in Whitby so it was nice to find a FANTASIC pizza delivery joint! They offer exactly what it says on the tin. Simple, great pizzas, great friendly service and amazing delivery drivers. Couldn’t recommend more!!

We come to ginos every time we stay at whitby. We have tomato garlic and cheese pizza. Its amazing. 12 out of 10 for these guys

Top notch takeaway. A little bit on the expensive side but very very good quality Update 01/02/22 - The previous owners sold Gino's a couple of years back now and the quality has gone down, however it's still ok, one of the better pizza takeaways in town.p

Recently I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a side portion of fries from this establishment. The food was unforgivable, I mean it was absolutely ghastly. Firstly I collected the pizza from the establishment and the staff were friendly to be fair which was a rare positive you may experience when ordering from Gino’s pizza. I walked home and opened the pizza box, and no word of a lie the pizza was genuinely missing slices, it looked like it had took a tumble from above 35,000 feet. It was mangled beyond recognition and was barbaric. The genuine taste was reminiscent to bird feed it was laughable, chronic, crummy, rotten and all of the above. I thought the chips would be slightly better than the pizza,which they were because it is impossible to have digestible products as poor as that pizza. How were the chips your wonder, they were sharn as. I will never be caught on the premises again.

Didn't realize it was cash only until we arrived, scraped together all the change we had but we were still slightly short. Absolute gentlemen said that it was fine and served us anyway. Saved the night, thank you! Burgers were very nice too!

Pizza wasn't great, but prices reasonable. I'd prefer to pay a little more for better quality though. They also do burgers and kebabs although I can't say anything about those. It's a pretty standard takeaway overall, not much more to say really.

Back in my hometown I'm used to juvenile farting sounds being tossed my way down the phoneline, however, Gino and his fellow business people were prompt and efficient in serving me the chocolate fudge cake which I requested. The cake itself though a little damp was clean and delicious. Thank you Gino.

Late. Cold and uncooked, what more could be said. Unless I had never seen them prepare a so called chicken parmesan wiping there hands on a cloth that looked as though it hadn't been washed since we won the world cup. Absolutely minging 😂

Staff are all polite and friendly. Great service and food was well cooked and great portions. Excellent prices for the food and portion sizes. Certainly worth a visit if you require a lazy night away from the kitchen. Quick service and great options available off the menu, you can order online, by phone or even in person.

Cocken parmesan - Large - to be honest this food not even stand next to chicken parmesan. Cheap replacements for cheese, chips raw inside... taste like uncooked frozen pizza from supermarkets... size... Large? I saw many Large parmesans but this in real is not really even a medium size. Definitely I won’t be back to this place. This is as you can see very dark place and a lot of grease on all equipment even on the front till. Strongly advise avoiding this place.

This place is well known for getting orders wrong so I always check we have the correct amount of boxes, packages before we leave. They also have a habit of sending the wrong food out for delivery which often means customers in the shop have to wait for their food to be cooked again! I once waited 45 minutes for an 8" ham and pineapple, and a medium kebab! Last night's visit resulted in the correct amount of food and my daughter said her pizza was nice. The shop was empty and the staff only had us to serve so getting the order right wasn't hard.......when I opened my box at home, there was no salad or garlic sauce on my kebab burger. The chips were overcooked, and rock hard. The bun was burnt. The meat was ok. Overall, very disappointed, but not unexpected!!

This is constructive criticism, but the staff need to be more aware what they say to their friends in there as people like me can feel uncomfortable hearing inappropriate language or conversations that are private! The reason for 2 stars is the food is far too expensive and for delivery it has to be over £11. No card payment online and in the shop. Staff are young and not mature to work. Food is good but not worth paying for as it's an unfair price. My opinion is prices needs to be reduced and staff who are going to behave well! Sorry guys!

Hey guys , The food tonight was fantastic. We often use another takeaway but due to closure we went to you . The food was fantastic and I’m sure you would have been very busy tonight . Half term a weekend and oh boy did you get it spot on . Thanks guys 👊🏻.

Went on a Sunday night and it was clearly very busy that probably tells you all you need to know. Deliveries flying out the door with at least 6 staff working hard. Inevitably resulted in delay to my order of a large donner which was good and tasty. Garlic sauce was to die for. Apart from delay excellent experience.

Food was 1hour late,cold and order incomplete.

Just hada pizza delivered and i must say it was very nice and proper chips. And the young lad who delivered it was very polite and pleasant which makes a very refreshing chang nowadays thanks Ginos. will deffanatly use you on our next visit and leave detailes for the rest of the family when they use the cottage it is so hard to get good service nowadays but you certainly give that thank you

Cold food, not the full order and late

Waited for over an hour and a quarter and we were charged more than what they origionally said the price was. The food was cold. Chips and chicken uncooked. The pizza was rock hard and freezing the cheese wasnt even melted. Bread tasted a but stale and none of us could really eat it. Rang up to complain and nothing was done about it. Would at least expect money back.

The food we got was freezing cold and we barely touched it, it was disguising. After waiting over an hour for the food and being over charged we were angry to find out that the food was so bad. Rang up to complain to try and resolve but the staff were so rude and just asked ‘what do you want me to do about it?’ Couldn’t be more shocked with the standard of awful food and the staff at this shop. Waited over an hour for our food and when it arrived we got charged more than what they said it was. The food was freezing and hard and the chicken was undercooked. Pizza was fine - hot and with a good number of toppings. It is what it is, tastes good and you get a good portion for the money.

Ordered a delivery. When it turned up it was clap cold. In edible! Rang to complain and fair enough they brought my money back. But was told by the driver I was band from using them🤣 great business practice lads. Will make it my personal goal to make sure no one I know uses you!!

Ordered delivery of pizza and cheesy garlic bread as we were in a caravan. Food was lovely. Delivered on time.

If I could score 0 I would £40 plus order £3 delivery charge, used their app and monitored the 45 minute delivery, took 2hrs from order to delivery, even though we phoned twice, pizza cold and burnt, chips cold, obviously sent several orders out at the same time, in general worst takeaway we’ve ever experienced.

My Friends Have Said It Can Be OK. I Don't Believe Them For A Second, The One Time I Went In There Was A Couple Of Months Ago When It Was Freezing Outside So I Came In Thinking A Nice Pizza Will Warm Me Up, Within Seconds I Had Changed My Mind. IT STANK OF S**T! The Owner Was Darn Right Rude. There Was Cob Webs EVERYWHERE! They Could At Least Get Some Better Seats, The Ones They Have Just Stick Into Your Back And Are Uncomfortable. Best in whitby bit pricey compared to pizza shops in middlesbrough but thats Whitby for you everything is dearer than it is 30 mile down road

Last 2 times Ive ordered the service has been awful waited over 2 hours for clap cold food, no apologies no remorse they just didn’t care, used to order weekly from this shop but have had to start using a different take away

Kebab meat, chips,garlic n chili sauce charged £6.50 for at Ginos Whitby drive 20 min up road to Guisborough Cleopatras on high Street £3.20 for the same rip off Whitby at its best. Have you also seen the difference in price an also size of the chicken parmos half a one in Whitby same price as a full one at Cleopatras Whitby people just being ripped off, does the money get put back in UK economy no it gets took back to turkey.

Ordered plain burger with salad and chips, hubby ordered doner burger salad n chips, no salad with any and the doner burger wasn't a burger at all just a doner sandwich, very dry and bland, rang up to complain said they forgot salad as they were busy, if we went back we could have it for free!!!! It was supposed to be free and accompany the burger!!!! Won't be visiting again.

Best pizza i have had in a long time

NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN !!!!... staff\ or owner eating in preperation area stuffin his fingers in mouth an wiping crumbs off face over food being prepared and drinking several times as i was there only a few minutes. left without order as this is a ridiculous standards . dont care about rule or customers.. just want money... brought it to attention an met with shruggin shoulders.. DISGUSTING POOR SERVICE .. DISGUSTING HYGIENE .. couldnt post this without a star but not even worth a fraction of a star.. RUDE AN DIRTY .

Lovely kebab, the flavour of the chicken is great too. Very good value as well. Hopefully they will keep the prices reasonable as so many takeaways don't these days. Delivery time was much faster than expected.

Been here a few times now having recently moved to Whitby, and Gino's has always been fantastic have tried different items off the menu but always come back to the Meteor Pizza would recommend to all worth a visit if your sick of fish and chips.!!

Although titled as a pizza takeaway its really Turkish and offers doner and shish kebabs amongst other items from a wide ranged menu. Proportions are massive and delicious. Recommended.
