We had diner there and it was very nice. I had a burger with kimchi and I enjoyed it. If you look for some snack food in a nice environment then I recommend it to you

Lovely experience and very popular place to go. I had the most delicious cross buns from Gina Bakery. Divine! Just out of the oven.

An unusual place, inside are a number of small independent businesses - a tiny pub (with dartboard), ice cream, coffee shop and numerous types of food to name a few. There was brisk trade and the benches saw constant turnover of people enjoying the food & drink. There are benches outside which I'm sure are more popular during the warmer months. We had a nice Greek lunch, a gin & tonic from the bar and watched the small crowd for about 30 mins. All very nice.

Friendly, cosy, independent, reasonably priced and a lovely place with no nasty corporations.

The Old Kent Market is a bit like what Den Perry (Brian Potter's arch enemy) was trying to achieve in his club. Sunshine indoors. Everything under one roof. From Pizza to Poke, Hot Cross Buns to Ice Cold Gelato - it has something for everyone! Look out for the special events when it's transformed into something special - like a Bier Hall for Oktoberfest! Ideal for a rainy day!

Great indoor Market lots of different food, and shopping areas.

Fantastic gelato at Lulu’s and tasty spring rolls and grilled honey chicken with rice and pickled veg from the Bus Cafe.

Little shops and eateries, the smells were fantastic! The HERBORISTERIE was fantastic! So knowledgeable and lovely. We left feeling like we learnt a lot and earned a new friend in the area.

People are not welcoming at all and the group of people in there just looked at my son weird and just made us uncomfortable we had to leave

Interesting, quirky place to visit.

Lovely quirky indoor food and shopping market, has had many uses over the years, has a certain charm and is well kept inside and out. The bakery and pizza places are highly recommended.

Lovely place to buy a coffee on a cold day while browsing the odd little shops, there's is a London bus in there where you can have a meal.

1st time, customer was not very bizzy but struggled to get a seat

This place has become a foodie delight with stalls selling top notch food. The pizza, Greek and Indian are all great but we ate at newcomer Tic's Bus Cafe yesterday an Asian menu including delicious noodle soup, a penang curry and a succulent chicken Satay burger where all excellent value and there is bus seating up stairs which gives an American Diner vibe. Afterwards we had sweet treats from Gina's Bakery and the awesome Ice Cream shop. Fun little shops well worth a browse and it was all set up for Halloween with a spider room to make you squeal and howling animatronic zombies. Well worth a visit

Love the vibe, super cosy, great food and definitely a place to go if you're just passing by. Not very big though, make sure you don't miss the first floor!

Nice little indoor market on two levels, mostly all things food and drink were on the ground floor, sadly only two of the upstairs seller were open for business but well worth a visit.

There alot of food places to buy from, quite expensive though, not much space inside to sit down, very tight and felt like too close to others so didn't go upstairs, although it did look like there was some good clothing shops upstairs but we were put off going up there after the experience downstairs and the stairs to get upstairs being blocked by people just milling around, I'm sure some love this sort of place but it isn't for me

Many small businesses offer a unique experience for clothes, food, beverages and drinks..... the bakers, the pizzaria and the curry are particularly wonderful !!

We love going to the Old Kent Market when we visit Margate, everytime we discover something more. Love the pizzeria Mamma Mia, great pizzaiolo called Carmine, go and visit, his pizzas are so reasonable but they are made with the best ingredients sorced locally but Carmine told me he has burrata mozzarella hand made in Dartford by a Napoletan dedicated craft man, burratas are made with cream inside and normally are very expensive but Carmine says: I couldn't make nice pizzas without the best ingredients' I definitely recommend this pizzeria, give it a go! Opened from Friday to Sunday at the moment, longer on half terms and of course summertime. Catch him before he goes 🤩👍🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

Disappointed! Checked website that said would be open! It was the wife’s birthday, travelled from further afield so wasted journey as you were closed. Perhaps you need to change the opening times to save others from having a wasted journey!!

Magnifico sitio donde poder comprar un pan buenisimo en Gina's o tartas y pasteles y tambien poder tomarye un buen cafe en companies de amigos. Hacen comida India maravillosa, tambien unas pizzas qué te quitan el hippo. Muy recommendable, aparte tiene todas esas pequeñas. tiendas y bares.

Interested place, very authentic. It's not for everyone, but if you're looking for something unusual, local or unique - you might want to visit this market. There are a few food stalls here, plus several shops as well (up top)

Thao thao street food is quite literally the best thing to ever grace my mouth. good portion sizes and definitely worth the price if not more. no photos i ate it too quick.

Best veggie breakfast! Great find, we ate on the top deck of a double decker bus inside the market. Good food, fast friendly service.

The pizza is amazing! Fantastic quality and reasonably priced. I’d eat it everyday if I could. Shame most of the vendors were closed during our visit but still got a feel for how fab this place is. Would definitely return and recommend a visit.

Kent is best for everything especially in summer

Fantastic little place, lots of different eating options including a vegan one. Upstairs has some boutique shops, didn't look at those but looked interesting. The vegan food outlet was fantastic, definitely recomed.

Good place to eat/drink something. I recommend the indian place in the back (Jeffa or Jaffa, can't remember exactly). Very good price, tasty and fresh food.

What a lovely find. Near the Turner gallery, there is a lovely collection of food outlets (of all persuasions) and shops. The bakery looked very inviting and we enjoyed a sit down meal from the mediterranean cafe. Well priced and freshly cooked food.

We went with a friend in this place, and decided to eat inside the bus. OMG, the burger with peanut butter was amazing. I recommend!

Very nice, fun, a lot of options of street food!

Gina from the bakery was incredibly rude to my wife who has only recently given birth and needed to use the toilet. We use this indoor market and are local and routinely come down to buy sausage rolls from her bakery, however my wife was stopped and was rudely told it's not a public toilet and we wouldnt do this in mcdonalds. I love Gina's sausage rolls so it pains me to write this but I just wish she had some thoughts and mindfulness for other people before you speak. On top of this my wife was the one accused of being rude. Not a good experience.

Great place to have lunch, snack etc. Variety of counters including a double decker bus! Fresh pastry, cakes etc.
